The day after the 2020 Election there was controversy over the use of sharpies in some Arizona locations. Now we know this occurred across the nation.
In mid-July Sharpiegate was back in the news:
After this post, a number of individuals shared that they too were handed a sharpie when voting in the 2020 Election. These messages came from all across the country: Chicago; Sun City, AZ; Upland, CA; San Diego, CA; Fountain, CA; Idaho; Nevada; and, Pennsylvania.

Forty-eight-year political veteran President Biden raised eyebrows on Wednesday when he claimed to have driven an 18-wheeler truck — a claim the White House struggled to defend. Biden was visiting a Mack Truck facility in Pennsylvania when he made the claim to have driven the massive trucks before, which require a special kind of license. "I used to drive an 18-wheeler, man," Biden said on Wednesday in a video posted to Twitter. "I got to." (Tweet) There is scant evidence that Biden has ever driven an 18-wheeler truck. Washington—The effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine wanes slightly over time but it remains strongly protective for at least six months after the second dose, according to company data released Wednesday. The findings are one piece of evidence that U.S. health authorities will consider in deciding if and when booster doses might be needed. Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech have said they plan to seek authorization for boosters. The new data comes from the 44,000-person study that initiated the widespread use of the vaccine, showing its highly effective in the first few months after immunization. Now the companies have tracked those study participants for six months

Begin with one simple fact: The Delta variant of COVID-19 is more contagious than the original virus, but it is not more dangerous or likely to kill you. If you are vaccinated and are exposed to it, you may get infected. This infection is likely to be mild; occasionally vaccinated people get sick. These symptoms are usually mild, manageable, and pass within a day or two.
The first case of the Delta variant — previously referred to as “the Indian variant” — in the U.S. was diagnosed at the end of March. Our active COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths have declined since that date, although the daily number

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has reacted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation that, among other things, vaccinated people should still wear masks in high-infection areas by reaffirming no mask mandates will be in place in the state.
“The time for government mask mandates is over—now is the time for personal responsibility,” Abbott posted on Twitter on Tuesday. “In May, I signed an executive order prohibiting mask mandates by gov’t entities.”
“Every Texan has the right to choose whether they will wear a mask or have their children wear masks,” Abbott tweeted.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) threw a wrench into Democrats’ plan to slip amnesty for millions of illegal aliens into a federal spending package that would bypass a filibuster and only need a simple majority in the United States Senate.
On Wednesday, Sinema announced that she opposes a $3.5 trillion budget — which includes an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens — and thus the Senate Democrats do not have the 50 votes necessary to pass the spending package. Democrats, for months, had hoped to slip the amnesty past Congress without facing opposition from Senate Republicans

Unreal! The Biden DOJ put out a warning to states who choose to audit the fraudulent 2020 election results!
First, they threatened Arizona. Now they’re threatening the rest of the country!
ABC News reported:
The Justice Department on Wednesday released guidance intended to caution states embarking on so-called post-election ‘audits’ of vote counts for the 2020 presidential election that they must not run afoul of federal voting laws.
The guidance, previously previewed last month by Attorney General Merrick Garland in his policy address on voting rights, outlines federal statutes that the department says elections officials must adhere to during such “audits,” such as preserving all federal elections materials

According to The New York Times, a top Toyota executive has met with congressional leaders behind closed doors in recent weeks to advocate against the Biden administration’s plans to spend billions of dollars to incentivize the shift to EVs. The executive, Chris Reynolds, has argued that hybrids, like the Toyota Prius, as well as hydrogen-powered fuel cell vehicles should also be in the mix.
In addition, Toyota is also pushing back against EV-friendly policy through the auto industry’s main DC-based lobbying group, the Alliance for Automotive Innovation.

The crazy, convoluted, mixed up messaging from the CDC – it's been this way from the beginning of the pandemic until now – has taken yet another turn. Now the CDC is recommending masks not just for the unvaccinated but for the vaccinated too. This is supposedly because of the discovery that the variant known as Delta is making an end-run around the vaccines, causing not only infections but infectious spread.
So we have an odd situation developing. The layperson’s understanding of a vaccine is that it protects a person against infection, like measles or smallpox. In other words, you won’t get Covid, exactly as President Biden accidentally

Washington — Five Republican senators negotiating the bipartisan infrastructure framework said Wednesday they have reached an agreement on the "major issues" of the bill with Senate Democrats and the White House, potentially capping weeks of talks that at times appeared on the brink of collapse.
Senator Rob Portman of Ohio, who has been leading negotiations for Republicans, announced the breakthrough after meeting with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and four other Republican senators. More and more informed observers are asking why, after 13+ years of the Federal Reserve’s increasingly aggressive monetary interventions, the benefits remain so skewed toward Wall Street over Main Street. The answer is simple: follow the money. Using its traditional tools, the Fed pumps money into the financial system, hoping it will make its way into the broader economy. But the Fed can’t control where the money goes or who financial institutions decide to lend to, and clearly, the primary beneficiaries have been investors and the ultra-rich.

The leadership failures documented by the Office of the Inspector General are now almost standard and part of a tiresome media drip-torture for the public to endure. (Snip)
Questions are now being raised as to whether the FBI had a role in the Capitol Hill protests of January 6, 2021.

A series of LGBTQ-rights bills signed by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker will reverse “archaic” laws and change the way county clerks issue marriage licenses, the governor said Tuesday.
Pritzker signed four bills that will expand rights to the LGBTQ community.
One of the most historic, HB 1063, will make Illinois only the second state in the country to completely reverse the criminalization of Illinoisans living with the HIV virus.
Before the bill's signing, Illinoisans could face prison time and thousands of dollars in fines if they didn’t disclose their HIV status to their intimate partners.

The incident, first reported by KTVU FOX2 reporter Henry K. Lee, happened around 5 p.m. Monday at the drugstore located at Van Ness Avenue and Jackson Street.Witness Steve Adams told Lee that the four women were "picking the place dry" and that when he asked store employees if they were going to call police, "they just shrugged."

Simone Biles, the main reason anyone wants to watch the Olympics, given her thrilling artistic gymnastics, has pulled out of the U.S. team events, and since then, even the individual all-around event, citing her mental health (snip) Certain people on the right, who shall be nameless, criticized her as a "quitter." Others said she was too self-focused, and still others said she was a wokester or snowflake.
But that's not fair to her, given that she wanted to win. Her decision was practical and quite selfless in that in pulling out she gave the rest of her team the placement to win the silver

Sinclair Lewis’s novel of 1935, It Can’t Happen Here, was published amid the rise of fascism in Europe. The book is about the political career of fictional Buzz Windrip, who is elected President in 1936, defeating FDR with a campaign promising a return to traditional values, drastic social and economic reforms (he promises every American $5k). Once elected, he becomes a totalitarian tyrant (snip) consider the parallels with the current occupant of the Oval Office. Windrip outlaws dissent (consider the Biden administration’s partnership with big tech to censor opposing opinions).

Last month, the Department of Justice announced it was suing Georgia, claiming the state's election integrity law violates the Voting Rights Act.This is yet another abuse of power by President Joe Biden’s DOJ. Earlier this year, Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pam Karlan attempted to intimidate the people running the Maricopa County audit in Arizona. The DOJ complaint reads like a swampy fever dream, full of conspiracies and plots to block access to the ballot box.Remember, the Georgia law merely requires mail-in ballots to have what in-person voters have: proof the person casting the ballot is who they say they are.

On paper, making a new version of the beloved 1996 “Space Jam” looks like an easy layup. The movie should be a cash cow, targeting nostalgia-loving millennials who are now parents wanting to introduce Looney Tunes to their own kids. We even have a cocky NBA superstar to boot. Yet Hollywood executives managed to misread what exactly made the original “Space Jam” so great, and spike their version with shameless money-grabs along the way.
Instead of Michael Jordan, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” stars LeBron James. And instead of playing an intergalactic basketball game to secure freedom for the Looney Tunes,

The Biden administration is announcing a new, proposed "Buy American" rule that federal officials say marks "the most robust changes to implementation of the Buy American Act in almost 70 years."Signed in 1933, the Buy American Act requires the federal government to only purchase goods determined to be at least 55% manufactured in the United States. The new proposed rule, which the administration will seek comment on for the next two months before publishing an official rule change, would immediately increase the domestic component threshold to 60% and gradually increase the threshold to 75% over the next decade.

Just 13 percent of the roughly 50,000 illegal immigrants released in the US without a court date—and ordered to report to Immigration and Customs Enforcement—have bothered to show up, a new report said. The illegal immigrants were given a list of addresses and contacts for ICE offices across the country and directed to report to one of them in the expectation that they would appear after reaching their destination to seek work permits, Axios reported on Tuesday. Just 6,700 migrants who arrived in the US between mid-March and mid-July showed up at ICE offices as of Monday, the report said,

U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn is not a doctor, and he apparently isn’t playing one on TV, prompting his lawyer to subsequently try to justify his client’s apparent perpetuation of January 6-related mythology. On day one of the congressional investigative committee hearings into the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, Dunn began his testimony, in what seems like an orchestrated moment for corporate media, by calling for a moment of silence for fellow officer Brian Sicknick who “died from injuries he sustained in the line of duty…”Dunn, whom Fox News host Tucker Carlson has previously described as an “angry, left-wing political activist,” made this statement despite

n his closing remarks before the House select committee investigating Jan. 6, Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn compared the mob that stormed the Capitol, fueled by Trump's false claims of election fraud, to a hit man hired to kill someone.
"If a hit man is hired and he kills somebody, the hit man goes to jail. But not only does the hit man go to jail, but the person who hired them does. It was an attack carried out on Jan. 6 and a hit man sent them. I want you to get to the bottom of that," Dunn told lawmakers at the panel's first official hearing on Tuesday.

Is the Joe Biden administration serious about COVID? Doesn't look like it.
Fox News, citing a local incident in La Joya, Texas, found that the Border Patrol is releasing COVID-infected illegals into Texas communities to spread the disease. That's a curious thing given that Biden drew headlines for supposedly keeping Title 42 in place, which would require the Border Patrol to instantly expel migrants based on COVID concerns. Based on this kind of news, the order is de facto rescinded whether Biden says so or not.
In this Texas case, illegal migrants had been let in and then handed over to the NGO Catholic Charities in La Joya, Texas, which

Over the past three decades a sizable majority of the ruling elites have been preoccupied with self-aggrandizement and cohabitation with the Communist Chinese, ignoring the gradual and now complete domination of many of the nation’s institutions, and most importantly the Democrat party, by American Marxists.
After a premeditated fraudulent election underwritten by the same credulous elites, and with a witless marionette in the White House, these collectivists have been de facto governing the nation since January 20, 2021.

In the months since President Joe Biden tapped his vice president to run point on the border crisis, Kamala Harris’ poll numbers have plunged as the number of illegals crossing the border swells. Then again, her boss is the one who’s willing to spend $2 billion to stop building a border wall.
At his first press conference in March, a reporter asked Biden about the surge in illegal border crossings that just happened to coincide with his getting the keys to the White House.

Fear is contagious. It’s almost as bad as the Delta variant. Again, is the new variant more transmissible? Yes. Is it deadlier? No. Does it make you sicker? No. Are those being impacted primarily the unvaccinated? Most definitely. So, when you want to increase vaccination rates, the government did what it did best: screw things up. Fully vaccinated people now must wear masks again in high-case areas. What constitutes a highly infectious area? Well, that’s not clear yet, but I’m sure the CDC and Dr. Anthony Fauci will make up some science fiction to justify this new mask mandate. The mandates are coming too.

Biden moved into the 3,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home about four months ago, TMZ reported, leaving behind the $5.4million mansion he had been renting in Venice Beach because it afforded the family too little privacy. Oprah Winfrey has sold her 43-acre waterfront estate known as Madroneagle on Orcas Island’s Catspaw Lane for $14 million, the Business Journal has learned.Sources familiar with the deal say it is the highest price ever paid for an Orcas Island property.
Winfrey, who bought the property in 2018 without personally visiting it, paid $8.3 million at the time. The property first went on the market two years earlier at $12 million but failed to sell at that price. The Catspaw Lane property is a gated island sanctuary that includes a 10,251-square-foot main mansion, essentially gutted by Winfrey in a remodel.

Perhaps it’s because I grew up surrounded by extraordinarily tough people, but I found myself singularly unmoved by the spectacle in the House on Tuesday, which reminded me of a bad mash-up of Dr. Phil, Oprah, and BLM-produced soap opera, rather than a legitimate inquiry into an event that Democrats have seized upon to consolidate their power by destroying their opposition. As sobbing congressmen and Capitol Police officers took turns talking about their psychic injuries, I was alternately embarrassed for them if they were really that weak, and frightened of them if they were that sociopathic as a pathway to power.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Monday said it is the community’s mission to get more people vaccinated, previewing his administration’s desire to knock on doors, put unvaccinated people in cars, and drive them to “get that vaccine in their arm.”
“I wear a mask because I care about you. I get a vaccine because I care about you,” Cuomo said, framing compliance to various methods of government coercion as an expression of selflessness.
“We understand that we are all in this together. We understand that as goes one goes all in this city where we all live together and in this state where we all live together,” he continued.
