The Mississippi Attorney General on Thursday asked the Supreme Court to overturn Roe V. Wade.“The conclusion that abortion is a constitutional right has no basis in text, structure, history, or tradition” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch told the Supreme Court justices.“There are those who would like to believe that Roe v. Wade settled the issue of abortion once and for all,” Fitch said in a statement posted on her official website. “But all it did was establish a special-rules regime for abortion jurisprudence that has left these cases out of step with other Court decisions

Former President Donald Trump chastised an Arizona Republican who said the chamber's controversial audit of the 2020 election in Maricopa County "makes us look like idiots." A message issued through Trump's Save America PAC on Thursday singled out state Sen. Paul Boyer, calling him a "RINO," which stands for Republican in Name Only, and offering praise to his primary challenger."Republican Arizona State Senator Paul Boyer, a RINO if there ever was one, is doing everything in his power to hold up the damning Forensic Audit of Maricopa County which has been taking place over the last 90 days. The people of Arizona are demanding it," Trump said.

A report published by Outside Interactive alleged that America’s historically racist policies have contributed to “the nature gap,” resulting in black Americans having less enjoyment of the so-called “great outdoors.”Erin Key, the report’s author, is pushing for minorities to use their free time outdoors in nature through the use of grants and advocacy work. She does not, however, mention that there are no modern laws prohibiting non-whites from visiting public nature sites.“Though many don’t like to speak about it, so many of our living relatives experienced racism when it was legal —

The launch of a new federal effort to combat gun violence across the country brought Attorney General Merrick Garland back to his native Chicago, where he called gun violence an ongoing tragedy Thursday and said, “I feel it particularly in my home town.”Garland’s first official visit as attorney general to Chicago came in the wake of three mass shootings in a single day. One of them took place just down the street from St. Agatha Catholic Church, where Garland met with community members Thursday and talked briefly with reporters.Shortly before Garland arrived at the church, a police chase erupted outside.

Rev. Franklin Graham on Thursday praised Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) for remarks she made during an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, where she framed the culture war in the United States as a fight between Judeo-Christian values and Marxism. That, Graham said, is “absolutely right.”Graham shared Breitbart News’s exclusive interview long-form video exclusive — part of the On The Hill series — on his Facebook page Thursday morning. “US Senator Marsha Blackburn said that this isn’t just a culture war—it’s a war between Judeo-Christian values and Marxism, which the Democratic party is pushing,” he began. “She is absolutely right.”“I applaud her for calling it what it is and

America’s basic strategic posture has not changed since it inherited Britain’s mantle of world leadership during World War II. Preserving national sovereignty and independence while simultaneously ensuring countries can freely navigate the world’s oceans and airspace continue to be essential for the safety and prosperity of the United States. But threats are rising from all corners of the world. Now more than ever, America needs a robust foreign policy shaped by a grand strategy. Indeed, the free world needs America to have such. The rise of China, revanchist Russia, and militant Islam have convinced some that the world is far too complicated for traditional strategic thinking and that, by continuing its

Joe Biden overinflated the efficiency of vaccines, especially against the Delta variant, during his gaffe-filled town hall on Wednesday where he claimed the jab will prevent Americans from contracting coronavirus. 'We're not in the position where we think that any virus, including the Delta virus, which is much more transmissible and more deadly in terms of unvaccinated people, the – the various shots that people are getting now cover that,' Biden said during a CNN town hall in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday.'You're OK,' he assured. 'You're not going to – you're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.'This statement is false considering

President Joe Biden spoke to a half-empty auditorium in Ohio on Wednesday for a CNN town hall where he leered over and flirted with a newlywed bride and incoherently rambled on about “a man on the moon” and “aliens” in connection to getting vaccinated against COVID-19. Don Lemon was the host and ironically referred to the president as “the big guy” at the town hall. Biden stammered through most of the event and had a problem finishing sentences once again. The third question during the town hall came from a newlywed couple who asked about getting vaccinations in their community and it quickly turned awkward.

On Thursday's Morning Joe, AP White House reporter Jonathan Lemire addressed Nancy Pelosi's rejection of two Republican appointees to the January 6th committee, and Kevin McCarthy's announcement that unless Pelosi reversed course he would pull all Republican appointees. Predictably, Lemire put all the blame on Republicans while plumping for Pelosi and Democrats at large. How does this analysis sound any different than a Democratic member of Congress?
