Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) was censured over the weekend by the Weber County, Utah, Republican Party for voting to convict former President Donald Trump in the Senate’s second impeachment trial earlier this year.
The resolution to censure Romney, a former presidential candidate, was passed 116-97 by members of the Weber County GOP, County Party Secretary Jill Koford told the Salt Lake Tribune.
“The Weber County Republican Convention censures Mitt Romney for his votes to convict President Trump in two U.S. Senate impeachment trials which denied the President due process, allowed falsified evidence, did not provide adequate time for an investigation, and did not follow the U.S. Constitution which states a President may

A Charlottesville doctor who dropped everything to attend a complicated labor, hours away, is being hailed as a hero. The doctor drove through a snowstorm to perform a specialized procedure, potentially saving a newborn baby’s life in the process.
“It’s not any different than someone who’s in battle,” said Dr. Stephen Early, pediatric otolaryngologist at the University of Virginia, to CBS. “You just make the decision, you go into the line of fire.”
Mom Carrie Rush had struggled with infertility before becoming pregnant and enjoying a trouble-free first trimester. But routine ultrasounds and fetal MRIs detected a problem: her unborn baby had a potentially life-threatening jaw abnormality.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a law on Friday banning voters from adding signatures on unsigned mail-in ballots after election day.
The measure, Arizona Senate bill 1003 (S.B. 1003), was approved earlier in the state legislature in party-line votes.
The new law codified a ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Oct. 6, 2020, within one month of the 2020 election. It also ended disputes over unsigned mail-in ballots between the state Republicans and Democrats.
Current Arizona law allows election officials to contact the voters to fix the signatures on the ballots if the signatures don’t match other signatures from records in the Department of Motor Vehicle,

Legislators in Arizona and officials in the state’s largest county clashed anew this week over election audit subpoenas, with county officials refusing to hand over routers and claiming they do not have passwords to access administrative control functions of election machines.
Arizona’s Senate told Maricopa County on Friday that it would issue subpoenas for live testimony from the county’s Board of Supervisors unless it received the materials that are being withheld.
“We’ve been asked to relay that the Senate views the County’s explanations on the router and passwords issues as inadequate and potentially incorrect,” a lawyer for the Senate said in an email to county officials.

The states of South Carolina and Montana have both decided in recent days to put an end to their handouts of federal unemployment benefits as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, in an effort to encourage residents to return to the workforce, as per CNN.
Montana Governor Greg Gianforte (R-Mont.) said in his announcement that “incentives matter, and the vast expansion of federal unemployment benefits is now doing more harm than good. We need to incentivize Montanans to return to the workforce.”(Snip)
In South Carolina, Governor Henry McMaster (R-S.C.) announced on Thursday that the state would be ending their share of federal unemployment benefits,

As of this writing, there is considerable doubt as to whether U.S. Representative Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) should continue in her House Republican leadership position as its conference chairman. (Snip)Cheney is not being run out of Congress. That is solely a matter for her Wyoming constituents to decide next year. Nor is Cheney being removed from her committee assignments; and her congressional office budget is not being reduced. Cheney is on the cusp of being replaced as conference chairman.(Snip) It is decidedly not the end of our free republic or of the Republican Party.
The conference chairman of the House Republican caucus is responsible for the development and implementation of the

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who describes herself as a “trained Marxist” while also owning four homes in high-end neighborhoods worth more than $3.2 million, celebrated comparisons of the American left-wing movement to the deadly Chinese Cultural Revolution orchestrated by Mao Zedong.
In a 2010 video of a United States Social Forum panel on “Transformative Organizing Theory”(Snip), Cullors shares a story of a young activist in Arizona who showed interest in a left-wing book Cullors was promoting and compared it to Mao’s “Little Red Book.” (Snip) “I was like, ‘man that’s what I was thinking,’ and it was just really cool to hear him make that connection.”

This morning, the worst miss in the history of jobs reports was released, showing just 266,000 jobs added when over one million were projected to be added to the economy. That’s especially terrible given that we are in the midst of a recovery from an artificial depression. Jobs are everywhere, and employers are basically begging people to come back to work with decent wages to boot.
But they aren’t because the government decided it’d be a brilliant idea to extend the no-questions-asked unemployment benefits that started during the COVID pandemic last year through September. That’s absolutely idiotic given there is no shortage of jobs to fill in this country.
Now, some Biden

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) endorsed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to replace Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) for the position of GOP conference chair if she leaves the post next week.
“As President Biden’s policies continue to create the worst surge in illegal immigration in our history, it is more important than ever for our leaders to share a unified message in Congress on the importance of border security,” Brandon Judd(Snip) told Breitbart.
He sent out a five-paragraph endorsement, in which he mentioned that he has interacted with many legislators throughout the time he has been president of the organization, giving him certainty that Stefanik is suitable for the job.

Genetically modified mosquitoes have been released for the first time in the United States as part of an experiment to combat insect-borne diseases such as Dengue fever, yellow fever, and the Zika virus.
UK-based biotechnology firm Oxitec, which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, said it released the mosquitoes in six locations in Monroe County’s Florida Keys: two on Cudjoe Key, one on Ramrod Key, and three on Vaca Key.
It’s part of an effort to help tackle a disease-transmitting invasive mosquito population—the Aedes aegypti mosquito species—that’s responsible for “virtually all mosquito-borne diseases transmitted to humans,” according to the company.

Good news! The sneaky snake who organized the former Pentagon officials into a secret backstabbing attack against President Trump, and then hid her activity, is about to get the boot from leadership.
Reports surfaced yesterday [SEE HERE] that Liz Cheney worked behind the scenes to coordinate a stealth attack against Trump while he was still in office. (Snip)the insufferable arrogance of the DeceptiCon dirtbags is blood-boiling.
Thankfully, (Snip) Liz Cheney is going to face a House conference vote next Wednesday. This will be a very solid opportunity to watch and see exactly who votes to support her. To avoid scrutiny the vote will likely be secret, again.

The story is becoming routine. The Reload reported, "Kansas gun-rights advocates won a battle with governor Laura Kelly (D.) on Monday when a gun-carry bill passed over her veto.
"18 to 20-year-olds in the state, who were already legally allowed to openly carry guns, will now be allowed to apply for concealed carry permits. The state Senate passed the override vote 31-8 with two cross-over votes of support from Democrats. The House passed it 84-39 along party lines.
"Gun-rights advocates had been pursuing the change for the past four years. Republican majority whip Blake Carpenter celebrated the bill’s passage with a signing ceremony that featured
