Anti-Trumpers are planning a massive, nationwide protest against President Donald Trump as part of actions from the 50501 movement over Easter weekend.
The 50501 movement works under the phrase, “50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement” and describes itself as a group fighting to “uphold the Constitution and end executive overreach.” The organization’s next “day of action” falls on Saturday, April 19 — the day before Easter Sunday. “We are trying to protect our democracy against the rise of authoritarianism under the Trump administration,” Hunter Dunn, a spokesperson for the group, said according to the Washington Post. They claim that their group is not partisan in nature,

MSNBC’s Morning Joe proved once again that when it comes to violent crime, especially involving illegal immigrants, their instinct is to deflect, downplay, or dismiss. On Thursday, the panel spent over seven minutes hand-waving away mounting evidence against an alleged MS-13 gangster, more concerned with spinning the narrative than acknowledging the brutal realities tied to the Biden administration’s reckless open-border policies. Rather than confront the serious implications of letting dangerous individuals slip through the cracks, the hosts fell back on tired talking points and partisan gaslighting, showing just how out of touch the liberal media remains on law and order.

The White House practically broke X on Friday with a post showing Hollywood star Vince Vaughn posing for a photo with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
In the now-viral post on X from the White House's official account, Trump is pictured sitting behind the Resolute Desk with the 55-year-old actor standing next to him.“President Donald J. Trump & Vince Vaughn in the Oval Office,” the post read. It included a movie-type poster with their names and the title “White House Crashers.”
It was an obvious reference to one of Vaughn’s bigger movie hits, the 2005 romantic comedy “Wedding Crashers” with actor Owen Wilson.

One of the most important insights of public policy is the understanding that most laws are predicated upon a (stated or unstated) quid pro quo. Take, for example, the roiling monthslong debate about President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement agenda. Prior to the media uproar over the much-ballyhooed MS-13-tied "Maryland man," the since-deported Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia, there was a similar hullabaloo surrounding the arrest and initiation of removal proceedings against Mahmoud Khalil, the green card-holding Hamas sympathizer at Columbia University.

Many are familiar with the poem Paul Revere’s Ride, however, far fewer know that Paul Revere actually memorialized the events of the April 18 and 19, 1775, in an eight-page letter written several years later.
Each Patriots’ Day I remind myself to read his letter from a copy handed down, and I think about how Paul Revere was really just a common man of otherwise undue significance…. yet, capable to the task at hand.

James' office used a legal approach that even the Associated Press admitted had never been applied in the same manner to anyone else, ever (James' fellow anti-Trump partisan Alvin Bragg did something similar on the criminal side in Manhattan, of course). In 2 1/2 months, he has already achieved more great things than my hero Ronald Reagan did in eight years! But there is one thing Trump should be focused on above all else. President Trump must prove the 2020 election was stolen, bring the hard evidence to the American people, and charge the Democrat party with RICO.

A pro-mass migration group, funded in part by Alex and George Soros’s left-wing nonprofit network, is behind a lawsuit trying to preserve the nation’s anchor baby policy, where the United States-born children of illegal aliens are rewarded birthright American citizenship. Immediately after taking office, Trump signed an executive order ending birthright citizenship for the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens — a policy once also opposed by Democrats. While President Donald Trump met with Angel Mom Patty Morin, whose 37-year-old daughter Rachel Morin was murdered by an illegal alien MS-13 gang member in Maryland, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) met in El Salvador with a deported illegal alien accused of being an MS-13 gang member, domestic abuser, and human trafficker.
Trump met with Patty Morin this week in the Oval Office as she also took to the White House press secretary podium to tell the establishment media of the brutal rape and murder her daughter, a mother of five, suffered at the hands of an illegal alien MS-13 gang member in her home of Harford County, Maryland, in 2023.

And so, we’ve come to the point where the much-fought-about ‘Minerals deal’ seems to finally be about to be signed by the US and Ukraine.
The news was first broken by a top Ukrainian official that ‘a memorandum’ has been signed with Commerce Secretary Scott Besset.
Reuters reported:
“Ukraine and the United States on Thursday signed a memorandum as an initial step towards the clinching of an agreement on developing minerals in Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, Ukraine’s first deputy prime minister and economy minister, said.

However, her husband Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen as she made a public outing with her brother and new podcast cohost Craig Robinson.

Trump described Van Hollen (D-MD) as a "fool" looking for attention and finding it in the worst possible way - fighting tooth and nail for a gang-affiliated illegal alien. "Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland looked like a fool yesterday, standing in El Salvador begging for attention from the Fake News Media, or anyone," the President wrote early Friday morning. Kamala Harris’s campaign paid $50,000 to the production company of billionaire NBA superstar LeBron James, who endorsed the failed Democratic candidate in a deceptively edited video attacking Donald Trump days before the presidential election.
The Harris campaign paid James’s SpringHill Entertainment on Jan. 28 for "campaign event production," according to campaign disclosures released this week. James, a forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, did not appear at any campaign events for Harris. But he did post a 75-second video on his social media accounts on Oct. 31 that portrayed Donald Trump as racist.

As we reported on Thursday evening, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) finally did get to see the illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, for whom he took his grandstanding tour to El Salvador to see and bring "home." It was a bizarre set of optics.
But it was as a result of 4D chess move by El Salvador's President Nayib Buklele, who decided that he could blow up the Democratic narrative showing Abrego Garcia was fine and get that damning picture of Van Hollen sipping drinks with him at the same time. Meanwhile, he definitely said he wasn't letting Abrego Garcia out of custody.

US lawmakers have launched an investigation into soaring prices and wait times for fire engines that have slammed fire departments nationwide — and probing whether private equity firms are to blame.
The bipartisan investigation by US Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Jim Banks (R-Ind.) was prompted by widespread complaints from fire departments detailing delayed deliveries, faulty components and rapidly escalating prices.
Prices for ladder trucks have jumped from $750,000–$900,000 in the mid-2010s to around $2 million today, while pumper trucks now often cost over $1 million.
Delivery times have likewise exploded, stretching from less than a year before the pandemic to as long as four-and-a-half years in some cities.

He wandered up to the microphone and started talking while his Bruce Springsteen entrance music was still blaring over the loudspeakers. The speech was supposed to be about Social Security. Naturally, the former president opened with a long-winded, inscrutable anecdote about Delaware's history as a slave state,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday reported “good progress” on negotiations for a mineral rights deal between Ukraine and the United States.
“The basic legal stuff is almost finalized, and then, if everything moves as quickly and constructively, the agreement will bring economic results to both our countries,” Zelensky said in his daily address to the Ukrainian people. According to Svyrydenko, Ukrainian negotiators have “adjusted several items within a draft agreement.” If the American side is satisfied with those adjustments, a memorandum of intent could be signed very soon.
Zelensky’s remarks echoed the assessment given by Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who said “significant progress” has been made on the deal.

Its renewed offensive has targeted and killed Hamas officials who played important roles in distributing cash to cadres and sent others into hiding, Arab intelligence officials said.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order on his first day in office that directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to ensure 37 death row inmates were “imprisoned in conditions consistent with the monstrosity of their crimes and the threats they pose,” which the lawsuit alleges is unconstitutional...
