Anti-Trumpers are planning a massive, nationwide protest against President Donald Trump as part of actions from the 50501 movement over Easter weekend. The 50501 movement works under the phrase, “50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement” and describes itself as a group fighting to “uphold the Constitution and end executive overreach.” The organization’s next “day of action” falls on Saturday, April 19 — the day before Easter Sunday. “We are trying to protect our democracy against the rise of authoritarianism under the Trump administration,” Hunter Dunn, a spokesperson for the group, said according to the Washington Post. The last time, many noticed that groups of people would show up at one location, shout and make fools of themselves repeating monotonously the same old stupid rhyming drivel, and then move on to the next place. Apparently, the rent-a-mobs were small, coordinated, and arrogant enough not hide their plots and schemes. There was an election, President Trump won. We have a majority Republican Congress. It would be nice if these self-proclaimed guardians of "Democracy" really were, but they would need to start by respecting and honoring The Republic. ...of course this would require study, thought and reflection and wisdom.

Do most of these people even know what they are protesting about? It seems like each protest crowd is made up of multiple sub groups, each with their own agenda. They might be protesting against Trump, alleged cuts to SS, LGBTQ rights, Unicorns, pro unions, or whatever else floats their boat. They are not all there for the same thing.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe proved once again that when it comes to violent crime, especially involving illegal immigrants, their instinct is to deflect, downplay, or dismiss. On Thursday, the panel spent over seven minutes hand-waving away mounting evidence against an alleged MS-13 gangster, more concerned with spinning the narrative than acknowledging the brutal realities tied to the Biden administration’s reckless open-border policies. Rather than confront the serious implications of letting dangerous individuals slip through the cracks, the hosts fell back on tired talking points and partisan gaslighting, showing just how out of touch the liberal media remains on law and order.

As Matt and Sarah have touched on this week, New York's Democratic Attorney General may soon find herself in hot legal water. Letitia James famously told voters she'd use her powers to come after Donald Trump, which she then proceeded to do, pursuing a civil case for "fraud" in which the supposedly defrauded victims denied that they were defrauded or victimized. James' office used a legal approach that even the Associated Press admitted had never been applied in the same manner to anyone else, ever (James' fellow anti-Trump partisan Alvin Bragg did something similar on the criminal side in Manhattan, of course).
