President Donald Trump has escalated his trade policy by announcing that he will not negotiate with Europe to lift recently imposed tariffs unless they pay “ a large amount of money annually, both for the present and the past. ” (X Video) Trump emphasized his strategy, stating that Europe has “taken advantage” of the United States for decades and that it's now time to level the trade playing field.
The president also noted that there will be no talks with China until the $295 billion trade deficit is addressed,

Joseph Caminiti, a 100-year-old WWII veteran who still goes to the gym daily, joined U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, military officials, and families of those killed in the battle of Iwo Jima to visit the island for the combat’s 80-year anniversary, according to a report by WTNH.
Watch Below: (Video) Caminiti is among the estimated three remaining living survivors of the battle of Iwo Jima, where the iconic photograph was captured of U.S. Marines raising the American flag on the island.

Vice President JD Vance fulfilled a promise he made at the Republican National Convention this past summer, celebrating his mother's 10th sobriety anniversary at the White House.
It is a truly inspiring and heartwarming story.
Vance's mother, Beverly "Bev" Aikins, plays a significant role in his memoir "Hillbilly Elegy," where she is portrayed as a complex and troubled figure whose struggles profoundly shaped Vance’s life.
In the book, she is described as a woman caught in a cycle of instability, addiction, and personal turmoil, which mirrors some of the broader challenges he attributes to the "hillbilly" community.

A disheartening number of people in general, but notably more on the left side of the political spectrum, are embracing an "assassination culture" that suggests there is justification for violence against political opponents, a new study finds. Not that a study was necessary based on the number of Tesla dealership firebombings and as actual attempts on President Trump's life have borne out.
That said, Rutgers University’s Network Contagion Research Institute, or NCRI, has just released a report indicating that "violence targeting Donald Trump and Elon Musk is becoming increasingly normalized."

President Trump in no uncertain terms told a Bloomberg reporter what he thought about her question regarding his tariffs and the stock market.
The reporter asked the president aboard Air Force One on Sunday whether there is “pain in the market at some point you’re unwilling to tolerate?” “I think your question is so stupid,” he told her. “I don't want anything to go down, but sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something —

Michelle Obama’s new podcast with her brother, Craig Robinson, and is a total flop.
The new venture, the “IMO” podcast, was launched by Higher Ground, the Obamas’ media company.
The latest episode titled, “Pursue What You Love Before You Pursue Love” has only garnered 11,000 views in 11 hours.
The IMO podcast is not climbing the charts like Michelle Obama thought it would.

The anti-Elon Musk/Donald Trump protests over the weekend were insane. As we noted before, it was mostly relegated to blue enclaves. It’s not a Tea Party moment for Democrats, who couldn’t even explain their protest signs without reading off a script. I’m not kidding. (X's) Trump’s head was carried around by someone dressed as Lady Liberty. I feel this weekend just provided Democrats an excuse to draw a swastika and not get canceled over it. It’s a coping mechanism for Democrats. They have every right to whine and moan about not being able to beat Trump, but everyone else is moving on with their lives.

Barack Obama has lost his mojo and ruined his brand.
It used to be said that President Joe Biden was serving former President Obama’s third term, that his former boss was controlling him from the home he had bought in DC’s ritzy Kalorama neighborhood, two miles from the White House.
The feeling was that Obama was the real leader of the Democratic Party and his wife, Michelle, was the secret weapon they would whip out in 2024 to replace Biden and trounce Donald Trump.

Doral, Fla. — Wilmer Escaray left Venezuela in 2007 and enrolled at Miami Dade College, opening his first restaurant six years later.
Today he has a dozen businesses that hire Venezuelan migrants like he once was, workers who are now terrified by what could be the end of their legal shield from deportation.
Since the start of February the Trump administration has ended two federal programs that together allowed more 700,000 Venezuelans to live and work legally in the U.S. along with hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians and Nicaraguans.

A Chinese woman detained by border patrol officers for overstaying her visa died by suicide at the US Border Patrol station in Arizona after officers reportedly failed to perform required welfare checks on her, US Representative Pramila Jayapal alleged.
The woman, a 52-year-old Chinese national, was picked up in California after authorities determined she overstayed her B1/B2 visitor visa, Jayapal said in a statement last week. She was sent to the Yuma station in Arizona and was detained there until her sudden death on March 29.

President Trump stood by his wide-scale tariffs, calling them a “beautiful thing to behold” that will eventually be largely supported even as the stock futures dropped Sunday evening.
“They are already in effect, and a beautiful thing to behold. The Surplus with these Countries has grown during the ‘Presidency’ of Sleepy Joe Biden,” Trump blasted out on Truth Social Sunday night as he attempted to justify the action he took against around 90 nations last week.
“We are going to reverse it, and reverse it QUICKLY. Some day people will realize that Tariffs, for the United States of America, are a very beautiful thing!”
