President Donald Trump is more popular now than before he sent the global markets into a frenzy by enacting sweeping new tariffs.
An exclusive DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners survey of over 1,000 registered voters conducted from March 31 to April 3 found that the Republican remains largely popular in the U.S.
The poll found that Trump's approval rating rose to 53 percent, a 4-point increase over last week when it was 49 percent.
Trump's rising approval rating is surprising given the flak the White House has received over the tariff order signed Wednesday.
It is up by 13 points since March 7 among those aged 18 to 29.

Following PDJT's wise financial advice (use the current stock market to "get rich", i.e., buy stocks low, so as to sell high later), I added to my very modest holdings in Exxon, as "drill, baby, drill" gets going bigly. Even if I had no investments, it was a great revelation to see how other countries have used tariffs to cost U.S. hugely.

The ‘shock’ to the Media and the Left - sorry for the repetition is that he is doing as he says. The 77 million citizens who voted for him legally are not surprised.

Other countries have had tariffs and other non-tariff trade barriers against US products for 50 years.
Time to even out the situation.

President Trump has been correct so often, I don't see any reason to doubt him now. I'm loving everything he's doing and can only hope the slackers in Congress, i.e.,...Republicans, quit sitting on their hands and help him out.

The stock market will recover, so keep an eye on your favorite stocks. The turn around may start as soon as this week on some stocks. Remember, Wallstreet always overreacts. Now they've had a weekend to think about it, and bargain hunters will be on the hunt.

Oopsies. Guess "promises made, promises kept" is real and not some b.s. campaign slogan.

Conservative Americans are smarter than the media and most liberals and democrats. We understand what President Trump is doing. Painful right now but I doubt many have read of the huge corporations moving back to this country bringing thousands of jobs with them. I guess all the 'celebrities' calling us stupid or dumb might not know what they're talking about after all. Big surprise!!

I got out of the stock market 3 years ago. At age of over 70 and stock's pay to price ratio totally wacco I saw no reason to remain in the gambling game when guaranteed 5% return was available elsewhere. Maybe I will get back in when the stock market hits bottom. For the younger crowd, don't worry it will come back.

Controversial tariffs? What’s so controversial about trade balance? America has been fighting uphill against half the world for decades. It’s about time someone leveled the playing field.

Tariffs isn't the goal. Getting other countries to DROP their tariffs and other artificial subsidies - that's the goal. From the media vitriol we're seeing, DJT is off to a good start.

Trump is delivering badly needed medicine to a sick world economy and Globalist perversions. For some it will be an elixir, for others it will be Hemlock.

When this four years of Trump is up, his popularity will have reached nearly 100% except for the insane and the criminals and we will wonder why people let Biden bring the country down so badly. People who complain about the tariffs don't realize that he is being more than fair, we could be punishing the whole world.

The stock market tracks the success of the same multinational corporations that packed up American manufacturing plants and shipped them, along with American jobs, to China and Viet Nam and South Korea, leaving dead and dying small towns all across the Midwest looking like bombed out shells of what they once were before the corporate betrayal of America. They wrecked the American Middle Class. No tears here for Wall Street.

It seems that countries expected the United States to pay the fee while they go free. . .

Coincidentally, some stocks are starting to creep back up today. It won't be long before the Loony Left is robbed of their doomsday messaging. It may cause further meltdown.

We elected Trump to lead US into battle against the World.
We knew there would be incoming.
We have the advantage.
We stand with him.
