Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney delivers a speech to the nation notifying the Canadian people that the era of an economic and military collaborative relationship between the United States and Canada is over.
As the majority of Canadians cheer, the Prime Minister said that Canada as a free independent and sovereign nation will now embrace its connections to the United Kingdon and European Union and seek to replace their national dependency on the United States by severing ties in North America and entering a new era of close relations with Great Britain and Europe.

Lol, Canada military? Uh sure ok pal. You're still going to hide under our shield.
Economics? Ok, great, you can close the border and ship everything to/from the rest of the world. That'll be a lot cheaper than just dropping the tariffs your country has imposed on US goods for generations.
What a horrible liar and intellectually dishonest person.

Even though there is assonance between the names "Mark" and "Art," there is no rhyme. What we have here is a good and a bad Carney, one gone and missed, the other here with diarrhea of the mouth. Cram it, Mr. PM.

Well, if the Canadians intend to rely upon the military super-powers that are France and the UK, then we should plan *now* to see lots of Russians and Chinese on that side of the border in the coming years. And they will be up to no good. Closing and militarizing a 3,000 mile long border sure isn't my choice, but if Canadians fall for appeals to moronic jingoism, then they deserve all the Russians and Chinese they're going to get... and we'll need to double up our order for wall-building materials.
Folks along the Mediterranean coast in France will also need to brace for an invasion of fat English-speaking people during the summers. Note to my friends in France: Those will be Canadians, *not* Americans.

Makes me think of a part of a longer joke;
American - Nothing comes from Canada except for whores and hockey players
Canadian - Sir, I will have you know that my wife is Canadian
American - Oh, what position does she play?

I went to Canada when I was 10. In Ontario is was like being in America. In Quebec they were aloof French people who refused to speak English. I went back to Ontario in 1983, and they weren’t very nice there by then. Prices on almost everything were high, gas was 50% tax, and it wasn’t any fun there. Have not been back since. Too bad- it could be a wonderful relationship.

DJT quickly ran sissy-boy Trudeau out of office. This cretin isn't going to last very long either. He's begging DJT to crush the Canadian economy, which shouldn't be too difficult to do, and it will be the loud-mouthed clown Carney who pays the price for it.

They already have longstanding internal problems. The English hate the French-speaking and vice versa..

3000 mile border 75,000 troops - good luck; medical care - long, long waits; vacation in winter can't drive to the Caribbean, limited flights, hotels (and what about that second home in FL?), restaurants; the shared military training was more for you not us; maple syrup , beer you'll drown in it because of your limited market; lost US market that one going to hurt - won't take long before the 25% don't look so bad. Go take a leap. Do they make knee pads in Canada, they'er going to need them when they come crawling back.
They must be taking lessons from the dems.

#12: I was last there in May of 1993, in Toronto for some MLB games involving the Blue Jays. It was a road trip with two other guys starting from the DC area. We weren't treated badly in Toronto and the only hassle we got was at the border crossing, where the Canadian government had just begun demanding that all Americans visiting Canada carry passports. (Before that time, passports were never necessary to cross the border either way.) So I have nothing but crocodile tears for present-day Canadians who are being hassled about travel requirements to the US. Canada started this non-sense, and it started a long time ago.
If Canada decides to go the way Carney wants, the Blue Jays will have to relocate somewhere in the US. Anybody want to put in a bid for an MLB team? Tip: You only need to bid 69 cents on the dollar... you can get it cheaply!

We long had the feeling that in this dysfunctional, unequal relationship, if we treated you the way you treat us, you would have broken up years ago. We finally said enough; it's time for our relationship to be more even; and sure enough, you're bailing. Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you...

OBTW: Message to Mark Carney and Mike Myers: You can cram you elbows up each others' butts. Just do it on your side of the border. It's funny how all these Canadians spewing militant rhetoric seem to spend so much of their time inside the US!

It's probably a good thing to diversify but don't count on them to be better in any stretch of the imagination.
Presume Canada wants more rules and regulations that deprive themselves of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That they want more government directing, dictating and controlling their lives.

I shall continue to watch Classic Star Trek commanded by proud Canadian William Shatner. My favorite Shatner performance was Andersonville where he was the prosecuting attorney for the Blue Bellies. (Even though most of my ancestors were in the Union Army and one was even imprisoned at Andersonville.) I shall continue to admire Pam Anderson and Shannon Tweed even though they know not of my existence. Oh Canada we stand on guard for thee. Well somebody has to.

To all my dear friends in Canada...I'm so sorry you got stuck with a prime minister idiot....you always talked behind his back and shopped in Detroit to relieve some of the value added taxes....I shopped with my friends...and since I was a citizen of America...I could pass the border guards with my suitcases...filled with Detroit goodies....and of course my American driver's license....WE'd go to Tim Horton's cafe and have a good laugh...I miss those days.....

Then stop all Canadian citizens from using our medical facilities as a release valve for their terrible "free" system where an abortion is free but there's an eleven-month waiting list. Rather than wait two years for a hip replacement they get it here in a month, and then they go home and boast about their free health care. If we aren't their friends then cut them off and let them stew.
