The dawn and dusk of Biden censorship age

How President Biden and left activists built the censorship conglomerate is the story of government activists, taxpayer slush funds and a determination by liberals not to share journalism with unwashed conservatives. A clearer, uncensored picture emerged in the lingering months of Mr. Biden’s rule and its 2025 aftermath. The left’s free speech crackdown was finally exposed by dogged Republican officeholders and conservative foot soldiers. Hoaxes like the Steele dossier, President Trump and a Russian bank, “Trump grabbed the steering wheel,” exoneration of Wuhan virus lab, Jussie Smollett, Michael Avenatti, Russian bounties on Americans, letter of 51 Obama former intelligence officials — all would have thrived for long destructive shelf lives

And then there were 16. While much of the nation has been riveted by the opening rounds of the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament, the lunatics on the political left have been battling it out in their own game of March Madness. After some tough, bruising contests of left-wing mental illness, the “Bitter 16” have survived to fight it out for the national crazy crown. Which one of these ranting, hypocritical libs will emerge the ultimate victor?

Democrats had a tough time at a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing yesterday on the censorship industrial complex. They had to argue there was never any censorship during the Biden administration (including during Covid!) and that free speech and freedom of the press were never threatened by the partnership of government agencies with private institutions to combat “disinformation.” After all, the government was just trying to catch foreign disinformation operations, they argued, so any censorship that did happen was necessary and proper.

CNN's Harry Enten reports on new polls that show President Donald Trump is "basically more popular than he was at any point in term number one, and more popular than he was when he won election back in November of 2024." "The bottom line is, the percentage of Americans who say we're on the right track is through the room," Enten told CNN host Sara Sidner. "And if you were to compare it to when presidents have historically been re-elected, of course, Trump is not constitutionally eligible to run for re-election, but I think it sort of puts it in perspective, 42 percent

Fox weekend headline declared that “data show Gen Z ‘most conservative’ generation in decades.” The real question is: Why are we shocked? Gen Z’s lives have been entirely dominated by the lies and failures that the left and the Democrat Party have perpetrated. Following on the heels of Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials, Generation Z is comprised of individuals born between 1997 and 2012. For such individuals, the ascendancy of the left and the Democrat Party has dominated their lives. According to Gallup polling, in 1997 (the first year of Gen Z) 28 percent of Democrats described their views as liberal (as opposed to conservative or moderate)

When I hear Democrats whine about a duly elected president being a “threat to democracy,” I can’t help but think about a line from “Fight for Your Right” by the Beastie Boys: “Your pops caught you smoking, and he says, ‘No way!’ That hypocrite smokes two packs a day!” In other words, it’s a bit ridiculous for someone with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth to demand that you refrain from doing the same thing. And this is about as hypocritical as what Democrats are doing when they decry threats to democracy. When Democrats said democracy would be in peril if President Trump won, they neglected to add

The Democratic Party’s struggle to rebound from bruising losses last year has put it in a vulnerable position ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. It has been nearly four months since Republicans took control of the White House and Senate from Democrats, and the Democratic Party has been unable to rebound. In addition to not putting up a real fight against President Donald Trump’s agenda, the party is bleeding support, and there’s no sign of it stopping. At the end of January, a Quinnipiac University poll had MAGA swaggering as the GOP took its largest-ever advantage over Democrats in favorability ratings.

In the matter of Donald Trump v. Leviathan, let me begin by stipulating that Sir Thomas More was right in A Man for All Seasons when he remonstrated with his future son-in-law William Roper. Roper was urging More to arrest the scheming Richard Rich, whose machinations would eventually lead to More’s execution. But, More points out, Rich had broken no law. William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law! Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil? William Roper: Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!

This was the week I became convinced that Don Lemon is an undercover MAGA operative. The former CNN presenter was on Bill Maher’s podcast the other day and was asked about the dire outlook for the Democratic Party. Which way should it go? “People love AOC,” Lemon ventured. “People love Jasmine Crockett. People love Eric Swalwell and the like. I think the Democratic Party should put people out there who the people want — who they’re asking for.” Maher begged to differ. People do not want these people, he pointed out. But Lemon continued to insist otherwise.

At his 2005 Senate confirmation hearing to be chief justice of the United States Supreme Court, John Roberts famously invoked America's national pastime in describing his view of the judicial role in our constitutional order: "Judges are like umpires. Umpires don't make the rules, they apply them. The role of an umpire and a judge is critical. They make sure everybody plays by the rules, but it is a limited role. Nobody ever went to a ball game to see the umpire." If only! Unfortunately, Roberts' actual career on the high court has been one extensive repudiation of his lofty "umpire" proclamation. In exalting above all other concerns

If you ever doubted that Washington’s corrupt cartel of Democratic law firms, judges, NGOs, and deep-state bureaucrats is a machine designed to thwart the Trump administration, just watch as judge after judge blocks the president’s ability to keep his campaign promises. It may not be brown paper bags changing hands, but this lawfare that defies the people’s will is every bit as corrupt. It will be up to the Supreme Court to define the limits of presidential authority, but Chief Justice John Roberts’ preemptive scolding of Trump for musing about judicial impeachment doesn’t bode well for the president.

Twenty years ago, maybe even ten, I’d have found stories about the administration cutting grants to universities and detonating thousands of campus-related jobs horrifying. But the education sob stories now flying off the presses have a gigantic lie of omission. Take Johns Hopkins. NBC News was one of many to highlight the “grave consequences” the new administration’s policies have had on the famed institution, noting “the changes will also have an economic impact in Baltimore because the university is the largest private employer in Maryland.” NBC pointed out that “about half of Johns Hopkins’ funding last year came from federal research dollars, according to a letter

As Robert F. Kennedy Jr. settles into his role as President Donald Trump’s health secretary, one major promise he’s made is still on table - banning pharmaceutical ads. Kennedy has been a longtime critic of the promotion of drugs on TV, and others high up in Trump’s cabinet and advisorship have agreed in recent months. Drug advertising on TV The backstory: Up until the mid-1980s, pharmaceutical companies gave information about their products only to doctors and pharmacists. Later that decade, some drug companies began giving the general public more direct access to the information, according to the FDA, leading to the advertising that we see on TV today.

The CIA claimed to have confirmed the existence of the Ark of the Covenant by way of remote viewing — aka extra sensory perception or ESP — alleging the mysterious and sacred object is guarded by “entities” with an “unknown” power, a recently resurfaced declassified document claims. In a remote viewing session on Dec. 5, 1988, remote viewer #32 was tasked with identifying a target that, unbeknownst to them, ended up being the storied Ark of the Covenant, according to document, which was declassified on Aug. 8, 2000, and has been circulating on social media.

Republican senators are debuting a measure on Thursday to abolish the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which they say has "intruded into the privacy and personal space" of Americans. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, is leading the bill alongside Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. "The TSA has not only intruded into the privacy and personal space of most Americans, it has also repeatedly failed tests to find weapons and explosives. Our bill privatizes security functions at American airports under the eye of an Office of Aviation Security Oversight, bringing this bureaucratic behemoth to a welcome end. American families can travel safely without feeling the hands of an army of federal employees,"

What’s more, the attacks became so regular that the family would shut off the automatic doggie door of the residence in the U.S. Naval Observatory facility when security was on the spacious grounds. The new reports of attacks were released by Judicial Watch today
