Trump Approval Skyrocketing, But So Is
Democrat Engagement

Despite the unrelenting attacks on President Trump--or, perhaps, among Republicans BECAUSE of those attacks from the Pravda Media and the Democrats--President Trump's approval rating is bouncing back. According to YouGov, the swing has been pretty dramatic--a 7-point swing in approval since their last poll.//snip//There IS one group that is getting increasingly angry and desperate, and that is left-wing Democrats who are watching both their financial lifeline and their electoral prospects crumble. They are angry, mobilized, and ready to do anything to stop the bleeding and inflict damage on the Republican Party in general and Trump in particular.

For Democrats, financial lifeline and electoral prospects are one and the same thing. BTW the first three words would have been sufficient for the headline.

I'll believe it when I see dems soundly defeated at the ballot box in 2026. There are still a lot of crazies out there that vote. It's not the politicians that are vandalizing car dealerships, overcounting/ mailing in ballots, disrupting town halls and harassing Trump supporters! There are a lot of stupid liberal voters out there, because someone had to vote for Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer, members of the squad and Maxine Waters.

By the time that the next presidential election comes around, look for whoever the leftist and progressive Democrat candidates turn out to be present themselves, with a lot of help from the liberal media, as being more conservative than the opposing wimpy Republicans, and then after the election immediately reverting to support the leftist and progressive Democrat political agenda.

A federal appeals court on Friday enabled Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to resume efforts to dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). In a win for the Trump administration, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily lifted a lower ruling that found Musk was exercising enough independent authority to require Senate confirmation under the Constitution’s Appointments Clause.“While defendants’ role and actions related to USAID are not conventional, unconventional does not necessarily equal unconstitutional,” U.S. Circuit Judge Marvin Quattlebaum wrote.

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Friday to review a restraining order that temporarily blocks its use of an 18th century wartime immigration law to immediately deport Venezuelan nationals, including alleged members of the gang Tren de Aragua, from U.S. soil. In the filing, lawyers for the Trump administration said that the lower court's orders have "rebuffed" Trump's immigration agenda, including its ability "to protect the Nation against foreign terrorist organizations and risk debilitating effects for delicate foreign negotiations." The request for Supreme Court intervention comes shortly after the DC. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 on Wednesday to uphold a lower court's decision that temporarily blocked

I think a lot of people are fond of "Star Trek" in its many iterations over the years. But it's hard to top the original version. So, when William Shatner became the oldest person to go into space in 2021, at 90 years old, with Blue Origin, it was an incredibly cool thing. While others were playing around with the weightlessness in the short flight, Shatner was captivated by the sight of space, and seemed very touched. Someone asked him recently about Elon Musk and going to Mars. Shatner then got a lot of attention by saying that the future is bright, and he believes Musk "represents the future."

Nearly two weeks ago a federal judge in California, William Alsup, ordered the Trump administration to rehire thousands of probationary government workers who had been fired in February as part of a government downsizing effort. That ruling applied to six agencies: Veterans Affairs, Defense, Energy, Interior, Agriculture and Treasury. Later the same night a second judge in Maryland ordered the rehiring of even more probationary employees at a different collection of agencies. The agencies covered by U.S. District Judge James Bredar’s sweeping order, issued Thursday night, include the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Labor, State, Transportation and Treasury,

Does the Protection Racket Media need a "reality check"? So said Harry Enten, CNN's estimable polling analyst, yesterday after looking at the most recent polling. The media still covers Donald Trump by assuming his unpopularity, even after winning both the Electoral College and the national popular vote in November. Not only is Trump at his most popular these days, Enten says, Americans feel better about the country's direction than they have in years. President Trump on Wednesday said he will put a 25% tariff on automobiles imported into the U.S., escalating his administration's use of aggressive trade measures in an effort to boost domestic manufacturers. After White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the tariffs would be detailed at a 4 p.m. EST by Mr. Trump, Wall Street shuddered, with the S&P 500 tumbling by 1.2% in late afternoon trading. Because tariffs are taxes on imports that are largely passed onto U.S. consumers, they can cause households to cut back on spending and dampen economic growth, according to experts.

Later that decade, some drug companies began giving the general public more direct access to the information, according to the FDA, leading to the advertising that we see on TV today.

New York City's waste reduction efforts will commence a new phase next week, as the city's sanitation agency will begin enforcing a law-mandated composting program with fines. Starting April 1, residents will have to separate food waste from trash or risk receiving a $25 fine from the Department of Sanitation. While mandatory composting became effecting in October 2024, the law passed by City Council established a warning period until April 2025. What are the food separation rules? Sanitation officials say they have deliberately kept the rules simple for residents. All food, yard and food-soiled paper waste must be set out in a bin on recycling day. What should be separated?
