Judge James Boasberg issued an oral order demanding that planes carrying Venezuelan gang members, who were not even a party to the lawsuit before him and over which he did not have jurisdiction, be turned around in international airspace. Boasberg is now infuriated that his mere utterance, not even set down in writing, was not immediately obeyed. Democrats and their media have taken to crying that any disobedience of Boasberg, who was appointed by Barack Obama to apparently rule not only the entire country, but the planet and all its airspace, is a “threat to democracy” and a violation of checks and balances.

Democrats have pushed back after Elon Musk claimed that social security operates like a "Ponzi scheme" as he continues to argue for cuts to the federal bureaucracy, but one expert tells Fox News Digital that Musk is on track with his criticism of the agency.
"Musk’s statement about Social Security being the world's biggest Ponzi scheme does have validity," James Agresti, president of the nonprofit research institute Just Facts,... [Snip] "What it does is, it transfers money when we are young and working and paying into Social Security taxes,"... "That money, the vast bulk of it, goes immediately out the door to people who are currently receiving benefits.

President Donald Trump made headlines this week by continuing deportation flights of illegal immigrants, including members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang, despite a federal judge’s ruling that attempted to halt the practice. [Snip] For too long, judges have operated under the assumption that their authority is limitless, that elected officials must bow to their rulings no matter how far they stray from the Constitution. [Snip] Even the Supreme Court has recognized the dangers of this judicial overreach. In Trump v. Hawaii (2018), Chief Justice John Roberts warned lower courts that they do not have the authority to micromanage national security decisions made by the executive.

FIRST ON FOX: President Donald Trump's administration’s use of Elon Musk's DOGE to cut USAID spending is having a deep impact on the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), according to internal U.N. emails shared with Fox News Digital. ...president of the U.N. Field Staff Union, Milan Victor Dawoh wrote that the USAID funding cut resulted in "approximately $30 million" having been "removed from the extra-budgetary (XB) resources, resulting in a significant reduction in staffing." [Snip] A U.N. source speaking on condition of anonymity said that in the midst of financial uncertainty, U.N. staff " are very fearful of their immediate future."

President Trump is trying to rid the country of the violent South American gang members who entered the country when Old Joe Biden’s handlers opened the southern border, and what sane person would be against such a project? [Snip] The American system, after all, was constructed as a system of checks and balances...so that a tyranny cannot develop. Yet what we have in the form of Judge James E. Boasberg and other far-left judicial ideologues like him is an incipient judicial tyranny that has no checks on its power. [Snip] Boasberg’s ruling is not the way the American system ought to work.

Former Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and wife Connie Schultz are no longer Clevelanders. [Snip] Senator Brown lost his bid for a fourth term in the U.S. Senate to Republican Bernie Moreno. He made it clear when he left office in December that he wants to continue in politics. “Sherrod and I thought it was time for a change. Like so many of you, we are rallying for the work ahead. This move will anchor us,” said Schultz. [Snip] While Brown has yet to announce his next move--being in Columbus could be strategic if he decides to run for governor in 2026.

Federal judges are not supposed to criticize the president of the United States other than in official opinions deciding cases in which the president is a party. [Snip] The Constitution makes clear that Congress must occasionally exercise the political courage necessary to perform its constitutional duty of impeaching federal judges who seek to rewrite the law rather than interpret it. [Snip] As unsettling as the impeachment process may sometimes seem, the Constitution requires that it be sometimes used. President William Howard Taft,...later its chief justice,..."Make your judges responsible. Impeach them. Impeachment of a judge would be a very healthful thing in these times."

Take that, little cop cancer kid! The Democrats sure showed him! No applause for you. How dare you be celebrated by the country when the president pointed you out from the lectern. Yeah, they showed him. They showed Donald Trump. They showed us all! [Snip] Their campaign to keep from normalizing Donald Trump has worked, but not exactly how they thought it would. They showed us that they’re not normal, that they’re weirdos, that they’re pretty much insane. Or that they are stupid. Sometimes, stupid and insanity are hard to differentiate.

Family Ties and Desperate Housewives star Justine Bateman has accused Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of turning being victims into an Olympic sport. [Snip] 'I don't think she cares if you like the show. This has nothing to do with making a good show. It is just her subtly roasting the Royal Family. This isn't made for us. This is made for like 30 people in that castle. That's all she's doing', she said in a video. [Snip] She also said it 'does feel like she has lied about whether she knew who Prince Harry was' and that 'details about her childhood change and don't add up'.

In a statement released on the day of his abruptly canceled confirmation hearing, Dr. Dave Weldon, President Trump’s initial nominee to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said concerns that Big Pharma was behind the subversion were “probably true.” “They are hands-down, the most powerful lobby organization in Washington DC giving millions of dollars to politicians on both sides of the aisle,” he wrote. [Snip] Weldon believes these two objections killed his shot at being CDC director. He has forever been tarnished as an “anti-vaxxer” despite his insistence that he just wants solid, unbiased research done on the safety of vaccines.

A major survey on the religious landscape of America was just released by Pew Research Center, and what it reveals about the decline of Christianity should alarm every American, whether or not one is Christian. ...if America loses the Christian faith from which our system of government is derived, we will lose everything that makes America what it is. All of the rights and freedoms we enjoy, the rule of law, the checks and balances on government power, all of that will disappear. [Snip] The practice of the Christian faith is deteriorating as well.

The Department of Justice was persecuting Donald Trump with sham trials just last year. But today, now-President Trump spoke at the DOJ, calling out the “communist” federal persecution of conservatives. “They tried to turn America into a corrupt communist and Third World country, but in the end, the thugs failed and the truth won. Freedom won, justice won, democracy won, and above all, the American people won,” Trump said. “There could be no more heinous betrayal of American values than to use the law to terrorize the innocent and reward the wicked.”

The author asserts “the real authoritarianism creeping into the United States, not from the executive branch, but from a judiciary that no longer respects its own limits. To safeguard our democracy, each branch of government must function within its own jurisdiction,... It’s fitting that when a judge oversteps his bounds as Boasberg did this week, the executive would provide a necessary check.” ~ “It is not what a lawyer tells me I may do, but what humanity, reason, and justice tell me I ought to do.” (Edmund Burke)
