Europe wants to draw the US into the Ukraine war to weaken the US, I suspect dems in the US are collaborating with EU elitists to weaken Trump by dragging him into the conflict. I suspect that Putin is being careful not to cross certain lines to avoid direct US involvement. The thing is, the EU doesn't have the capability or stomach to fight a real war with Putin. Putin, already suffering from his own stupidity and ego, now knows that he is in a mess and, if given a path that doesn't embarrass him too much, would take the exit ramp. Ukraine is NEVER going to get everything back that it had before the war started unless Russia is thoroughly defeated and THAT is why they need the US to engage, because only we have the capacity to defeat Russia. Trump wants NONE of Ukraine and the EU's mess and will continue to tighten the screws on Zelensky and ignore the EU. The ONLY acceptable outcome is the Peace talks. Ukraine and the EU could blow those up, but then they will face a dead end because Trump has made it clear that ongoing war is NOT in the US' interest.

Maybe the US status of "Isolationist" is not such a bad thing after all. When you choose the wrong side in a war you always come out with your hands bloody and your reputation sullied. We always seem to choose the wrong side. Let Europe, Asia, Africa and South America fight their own wars.

The left and their media tout Europe's socialism. Does anyone believe they could afford all of their socialist programs if they had to pay for them? We have subsidized Europe through tariffs, foreign aid and NATO since WWII Mr. Hegseth, how much do our forces in Europe cost taxpayers? There will not be a conventional war with Russia; Ukraine has demonstrated that. Bring our troops home and let the Eurooeans deal with their own defense

It is time to redraw the borders of nations in Europe once again. Crimea and Novorussiya for Russia and recognized by treaty by the United Nations Security Council. Ukraine did put up a fight for Odessa and it seems Putin is unable to take it. European Union has 450 million people with a MUCH higher standard of living than ours (just go visit) yet want our blood and treasure. This is not our war, Just walk away.

In a statement released on the day of his abruptly canceled confirmation hearing, Dr. Dave Weldon, President Trump’s initial nominee to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said concerns that Big Pharma was behind the subversion were “probably true.” “They are hands-down, the most powerful lobby organization in Washington DC giving millions of dollars to politicians on both sides of the aisle,” he wrote. [Snip] Weldon believes these two objections killed his shot at being CDC director. He has forever been tarnished as an “anti-vaxxer” despite his insistence that he just wants solid, unbiased research done on the safety of vaccines.

A major survey on the religious landscape of America was just released by Pew Research Center, and what it reveals about the decline of Christianity should alarm every American, whether or not one is Christian. ...if America loses the Christian faith from which our system of government is derived, we will lose everything that makes America what it is. All of the rights and freedoms we enjoy, the rule of law, the checks and balances on government power, all of that will disappear. [Snip] The practice of the Christian faith is deteriorating as well.

The Department of Justice was persecuting Donald Trump with sham trials just last year. But today, now-President Trump spoke at the DOJ, calling out the “communist” federal persecution of conservatives. “They tried to turn America into a corrupt communist and Third World country, but in the end, the thugs failed and the truth won. Freedom won, justice won, democracy won, and above all, the American people won,” Trump said. “There could be no more heinous betrayal of American values than to use the law to terrorize the innocent and reward the wicked.”

At the end of this week, Jews around the world will celebrate the holiday of Purim. The annual commemoration of the divine salvation from extermination has a special resonance this year. Haman, the Purim story’s central villain, the Persian Empire’s grand vizier, descended from the Amalekite peoples, has traditionally served as a stand-in for contemporary villains like Hitler, Stalin...as well as Hamas and other Islamic Jihadists. [Snip] There is much that Israel could have learned and still can learn from King David’s approach to hostage negotiations. The first thing is to eliminate moral doubt about its rightness through faith.

Republican Florida Sens. Rick Scott and Ashley Mood introduced a bill on Friday proposing the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) headquarters, currently in Washington, be moved to Florida. Titled Consolidating Aerospace Programs Efficiently at Canaveral (CAPE Canaveral) Act, the legislation would relocate the NASA headquarters to Florida’s Space Coast in Brevard County. The region houses the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Scott’s office called Florida “a common sense choice” for the new headquarters. “There’s no better place for NASA’s headquarters than Florida’s Space Coast, where our nation’s brightest minds innovate and help America reach for the stars,” Scott said in a statement.

The Internal Revenue Service ordered most of its approximately 20,000 customer service employees back to the office this week, ending a long era of hybrid and remote work. The Return to Office (RTO) mandate has been postponed until further notice, union leaders said Wednesday. US President Donald Trump has threatened a 200% tariff on any alcohol coming to the US from the European Union (EU) in the latest twist of an escalating trade war. The threat is a response to the EU's plans for a 50% tax on imports of US-produced whiskey as part of its retaliation to Trump's tariffs on all steel and aluminium imports to the US. The US president called for the immediate removal of the EU's "nasty" tariff on US whiskey, calling the bloc "hostile and abusive" and "formed for the sole purpose of taking advantage of the United States".

Democrats are so soft. They're been throwing fits for the past ten years over President Donald Trump, and they've ramped up the mania since he got back into office. But it looks like some of them just can't take it anymore. MSNBC made Rachel Maddow commit to being on five days a week for the first 100 days of Trump's term, when she had perviously had only been doing once a week. But host Lawrence O'Donnell said to her that he hadn't made the same commitment, and he was "exhausted" already.
