The undiplomatic words that Donald Trump had for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last week left some Washington, D.C., observers wondering how the Europeans saw the situation.(Snip)
Other foreign policy analysts recognize that Trump has many audiences outside the United States, including those in Moscow and Beijing. Many of these Trump watchers conjectured that the spectacle at the White House was meant to illustrate that Trump was willing to tilt against Ukraine in order to accommodate Putin. And the reason for that, they say, is to drive a wedge between Russia and China (Snip)
The Washington foreign policy establishment is calling what it presumes to be Trump’s Russia policy “reverse Kissinger.”

Some congressional Democrats are planning ways to disrupt President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night Capitol Hill speech with a variety of props and theatrics, Axios reported Tuesday.
While Democrat leadership has suggested that members bring guests who have been affected by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to the speech, some of the party’s more aggressive anti-Trump lawmakers are thinking of ways to go above and beyond to demonstrate their distaste for the president, according to Axios. Tactics under consideration include possible walk outs, using “noisemakers,” bringing eggs or empty egg cartons to bring attention to elevated egg prices and carrying pocket-sized copies of the Constitution

A new, Godless, quasi-religion—One Health—is being thrust upon the world. Its apostles say it will save humanity, or rather, life itself. Allied with Marxism in its denigration of the “exploitive nature of capitalism” as is demonstrated in the green movement, it debases humankind by equating us with, even putting us below, all other life forms. Its principal church is the World Health Organization (WHO), so President Donald Trump’s threat to withdraw from the WHO—or gain American control over it—must be seen in the light of this globalist agenda.
(Snip) Once signed, the treaty and IHR amendments will be legally binding on the WHO’s 194 member nations.

Every now and then I will share a social media post here, although my articles are normally more in depth.
It’s those who won’t do the dying who most love the fighting. See if you can spot the connection between our frantic efforts to continue the money laundering operation, sorry Just War, in Ukraine and the existence of a parasitic new aristocracy since World War II.
It’s not hard to join the dots, is it?

How odd. I don’t remember being asked, do you?

America’s foreign aid programs have often failed to place U.S. interests first, or have even worked contrary to U.S. interests, according to The Daily Signal’s Tyler O’Neil, author of “The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.”
“The Left’s dark money network has deep ties to [the United States Agency for International Development],” which has rightly received renewed scrutiny under [the Department of Government Efficiency] and after Elon Musk shined a light on it,” O’Neil said while testifying Wednesday before the House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Education eliminated two major teacher-training programs: the $70 million-a-year Teacher Quality Partnerships program as well as the $80 million-a-year Supporting Effective Educator Development grants. This is terrific news, not just for the budgetary savings but because it strikes an emphatic blow at training that has promoted dubious dogmas and politicized classrooms. (Snip)
The Department of Education noted that many of the teacher preparation and training programs featured social-justice activism, a hyper-fixation on race, and recruiting strategies “implicitly and explicitly based on race.” Grant proposals included programs that instruct teachers to address “systemic forms of oppression and inequity” and pressure trainees

As our team was setting up for the first of 12 shows at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. recently, fire alarms blared that morning. It was yet another bomb threat. (Snip) On just this tour alone, we have received 20 death threats in the form of shootings or bombs in theaters where Shen Yun was scheduled to perform. (Snip) There are two reasons why the CCP is harassing and terrorizing Shen Yun. The first is that the mission of Shen Yun, which is based in New York, is to revive the ancient Chinese culture that the CCP set out to wipe out of existence.

CAMPBELL, Ohio -- Sept. 19 marked 47 years since thousands of workers, who were mainly men, did what they did every Monday in the valley. They walked into the Campbell Works of Youngstown Sheet and Tube along the Mahoning River for the early shift.
Within an hour of the workers' shift, Youngstown Sheet and Tube abruptly furloughed 5,000 of them in a single day. Within months, 16 more plants owned by U.S. Steel shut down, including Youngstown-based Ohio Works.
(Snip) On a recent "60 Minutes," Scott Pelley interviewed a woman named Kristina Drye, who lost her job during the U.S. Agency for International Development shutdown.

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. (Snip) I want to talk about a lost agrarian world and what it was like before the rapid industrialization and suburbanization of America and the values.
I want to do that because we have all of these misconceptions and all of this indoctrination and all of this ideological bias about the past.
We talk about this white, monolithic, racist society that has to be overturned under DEI, but let me go back to 1960. I was born here, where I’m speaking, on 125-130 acres of a family farm that had been in my family since 1870.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said President Donald Trump is “reclaiming control” of the federal government after four “painful” years.
“Every single day, the entire White House staff, the entire administration, the entire Cabinet on behalf of President Trump and his extraordinary leadership is getting the lies out of our schools, the men out of women’s sports, the poison out of our foods, the woke out of our military, the predators off our streets, and the illegal aliens the hell out of our country,” Miller said Saturday, speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference just outside of Washington, D.C. He said Trump has issued 70 executive orders

Time to go a’privateering?
We’ve heard a bit about letters of marque and reprisal recently. Sen. Mike Lee has proposed bringing back letters of marque in a thread on X, suggesting them as a tool for going after Mexican drug cartels. Erik Prince, who founded Blackwater, the private security company (it’s rude to call them “mercenaries”) has also weighed in in favor of this approach. My own Congressman, Tim Burchett (R-TN) has introduced legislation allowing the President to issue letters of marque and reprisal against cartels, the Cartel Marque and Reprisal Reauthorization Act of 2025, co-sponsored with Rep. Mark Messmer, (R-IN).

Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. I’d like to speak a little bit today, very briefly, about the Pentagon under new Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Did you notice that of all the controversial Trump nominees—Kash Patel, Pete Hegseth, Pam Bondi, RFK, Tulsi Gabbard—the Left went after Pete Hegseth the most vehemently? And he required JD Vance to break that tie. There was a reason for that. He is proposing radical changes in the Pentagon.
(Snip)We spend $820 billion a year. It’s about 14% of the entire budget and it’s immune to criticism. And we are building $14 billion carriers.
Comments:
I always doubted the brilliance of Kissinger. This piece makes clear that his strategy and view of the world hurt America badly. I think his impressive presentation and scholarly manner impressed politicians including presidents, and this piece makes that clear. The author contrasts that with Trump, who sees clearly how to put America first and is thus far better than Kissinger. Of course, Trump's clear-eyed view on international affairs is one big reason why the Dems hate Trump.
