Democrats are raising an alarm about what they call a "constitutional crisis." If there is one, they should know because they are to blame for it. That's because their party, since the days of Franklin Roosevelt, have been violating the boundaries and restrictions on government set forth in our founding document. The Founders wanted government to be limited so the people would be able to achieve their highest aspirations consistent with hard work and their talents. Much of life has boundaries and rules that when violated bring consequences. Think of speed limits, boundaries in sports, even rules while playing cards and board games.

Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), an ethics watchdog, is asking for an investigation into a Democrat senator.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, is being accused of violating ethics rules after reportedly backing legislation that helped enrich his own wife. FACT is asking the Senate Select Committee on Ethics to look into whether Sandra Whitehouse’s environmental organization financially benefitted from her husband’s political positions, and “whether he violated the Senate ethics rules on conflicts of interest.”
Mrs. Whitehouse has worked for consulting firm Ocean Wonks LLC as the president since 2017, prior to which she was a Senior Policy Adviser at Ocean Conservancy starting in 2008.
Republican Congressman Andy Ogles (TN) said he is drafting articles of impeachment against Amir Ali, a Biden appointee who just strong-armed the Trump Administration and ordered them to pay foreign contracts by 11:59 pm on Wednesday.
“I’m drafting articles of impeachment for U.S. District Judge Amir H. Ali. Yet another PARTISAN ACTIVIST attempting to weaponize his position to block President Trump from cutting wasteful foreign funding,” Congressman Ogles said.
“Accountability is key,” Rep. Ogles said.

Think back to 2012 with me: the Tea Party was roaring across the country. Americans were carrying around pocket Constitutions and demanding spending cuts. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was touting the GOP "Path to Prosperity."
And Democrats pounced.

The Left wailed and writhed, claiming that Republicans were trying to "end Medicare as we know it" and destroy Social Security.
Fast-forward 15 years, and Democrats are at it again, claiming falsely that the House's 2025 budget resolution will end entitlements.

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed she had discovered some of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials who were tipping off criminal illegal aliens about the agency’s deportation efforts.
Noem said those “leakers” have been fired.

The outlet cited a recent town hall event with Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) in his deep-red district. Some media outlets claimed the meeting showed voters are against DOGE, which has been working to help cut wasteful government spending.

A Hollywood group comprised of Jewish studio executives and filmmakers have called out those in the industry looking to wear red pins in support of Gaza at the 2025 Academy Awards.
In a statement, The Brigade, a group founded in the wake of the horrific October 7 massacre in 2023, said the red hand pins from Artists4Ceasefire represent neither peace nor life.

New York — Starbucks announced Monday it will lay off over 1,000 corporate workers and cut complex and unpopular drinks from its menu in an effort to turn around lagging sales and revamp the coffee chain.
Starbucks is cutting some Frappuccino blended drinks, Royal English Breakfast Latte and White Hot Chocolate as part of its effort to simplify operations and shrink its menu.
“These items aren’t commonly purchased, can be complex to make, or are like other beverages on our menu,” the company said in a release announcing the menu change. Starbucks is cutting 30% of its menu in an effort to simplify its processes.

There are leakers, and then there are leakers. Some leaking can be justified; whistleblowers to legitimately bad or evil practices by people in positions of authority is technically leaking of information, possibly even classified information, for instance.
On the other hand, on Monday, we learned that there may be some Trump-hating personnel at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) who are threatening to take classified intelligence information to foreign governments if their positions are threatened by the efforts of the Department of Government Efficiency — the DOGE.
