The employees also warned that many of those enlisted by Musk to help him slash the size of the federal government under President Donald Trump’s administration were political ideologues who

Exactly the type of person we want to eliminate. Such a great idea... everyone in the government should be commanded to assist DOGE in every way possible. Resignations accepted otherwise.

if their work is so important and they walk off the job then aren't they
dismantling the critical public services commitment they say they are sworn to?
then they should be prosecuted for not upholding their oath.

Nice of them to self-identify as employees you don't want anyway. They will be replaced with better, more diligent workers. A win-win.

By resigning are they not doing the exact thing (in their minds) they are resigning about?

The DOGE guys are pretty smart. The gov't guys won't have access to admin passwords, so this will not slow them down.

I spent 18 years of employment with a Fortune 300 company as a Mid-level Operations Manager. I controlled 38 million dollars worth of Company assets . I was accountable DAILY for my oversight = we answered to the Board AND the Shareholders ................... got paid very well for my competency. I managed 77 people with 16 direct reports ........................ I understand exactly what Musk is trying to accomplish and YES -100% agree that the D & F employees are a drag on the profitability and are gone immediately after HR review..

Kick rocks! Thanks for resigning. You must have a lot to hide, or someone's paying you to quit. Oh, and techies like you are a dime a dozen. You either swore to uphold the Constitution or serve the American people or you didn't. Apparently, you didn't. Get over yourselves.

What services are so critical they are so upset about? Isn't having a sound financial situation the better way to go? Me thinks it's a bunch of people who realize most of what is going on today isn't providing anything for the people but giving them nice jobs where they can coast, up to now that is.
