There could be many reasons Friday's meeting in the Oval Office between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky disintegrated into the petulant Ukraine leader being tossed out of the White House on his ear.
It could be that he came into the meeting sulking about not being invited to the initial peace talks that took place last week between U.S. and Russian officials. It could be because Trump had hinted that the Ukrainian people should hold new elections. And it could be that Zelensky didn't like Trump's comments about his attire, which, admittedly, was ultra casual and in stark contrast

We're forced to wonder about the viability of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's continued political future. Not only is he overseeing the loss of a big portion of his country to Russia, but as of this morning, he has angered and alienated the very nation that has been sending him billions of dollars' worth of support - the United States. This morning's meeting with President Trump and Vice President Vance saw Zelensky effectively defenestrated from the White House to the street.
Now a former Ukrainian MP (Member of Parliament) is calling for Zelensky to be impeached.

Democrat lawmakers are under fire for opposing a bipartisan bill that aims to stem the flow of fentanyl smuggled by drug traffickers.
The HALT Fentanyl Act, aimed at permanently classifying fentanyl analogs under Schedule I, faces resistance from a drug policy nonprofit supported by George Soros, which argues that the legislation would worsen mass incarceration and hinder research into these opioids. Democrats like New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker have echoed these concerns while attempting to delay the bill’s progress through amendments and procedural tactics, Fox News reported.
A Schedule I classification under U.S. federal law refers to drugs or substances deemed to have a high potential for abuse,

Five former secretaries of Defense have signed a letter protesting the firing by President Trump of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. C. Q. Brown, demanding the Senate refuse to confirm Trump’s nominee to replace Brown and for Congress to investigate the firing of Brown and other senior officers by Trump.
Trump nominated retired Air Force Lieutenant General Dan “Razin” Caine to replace Brown. Caine will need a waiver from Trump on meeting the legal requirements for the chairman.

The more the Department of Government Efficiency - the DOGE - digs in, the more troubling things they find. This was not unexpected. In one of the latest examples, the House of Representatives DOGE Subcommittee, in questioning from Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN), heard some shocking details on how the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) was delivering American taxpayer dollars to Islamic terror groups.
Let's look at a key excerpt. In this, Rep. Burchett questions the Executive Director of the Middle East Forum, Gregg Roman:
Rep. Tim Burchett: Mr. Roman, are you aware that we are sending $40 million a week to the Taliban?
Gregg Roman: Yes, sir.

It was fine to be annoying pro-Hamas college student under Joe Biden, but the adults are back in charge now, and hate crimes aren't going to go overlooked.
According to a report from Israel's Channel 12 News on Wednesday, a DOJ task force is looking into the pro-Hamas demonstrations that took place on college campuses after the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas, which saw the murder of 1,200 innocents, as well as kidnappings and rapes.
This task force is being led by Leo Terrell, who told Channel 12 that those who actively attempted to restrain Jewish people from attending class on campus

One of the hallmarks of the radical left is their horror of the idea that somebody, somewhere, is having a good time. For evidence of this, just look at how the legacy media is handling this second Trump administration, which is very different from the first - and which everyone involved in seems to be having a ball.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who seems to be having the best time of all and teaching the legacy media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) a thing or two while she's at it,

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), speaking at a House hearing on Wednesday, suggested President Donald Trump's efforts to negotiate a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia could lead to World War III.
Understand that this woman is slowly becoming the leading voice in the Democrat Party right now. A media darling who now represents the resistance. And they don't care that her ability to reason and work through logical arguments is virtually non-existent.
Crockett, who has recently made multiple comments about the American people being too stupid to understand the complexities of the Democrat Party, went on a wild rollercoaster of a rant about Trump placating Putin

This story slipped quietly under the radar, but it turns out that the Biden administration had been suing several police and fire departments for neutral recruiting practices that judged candidates on their mental and physical aptitude and not gender or race. In other words, the defendants were being sued for hiring those who could actually do the job instead of lowering their standards to meet bogus DEI quotas. And the Trump administration just put an official end to all that nonsense.
On Wednesday, with the support of President Trump, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi dismissed several lawsuits

The ladies on "The View" seem to have an ongoing problem: having to clean up the things that they say.
Hence, the clarifications and the occasional reading of "legal notes."
But Joy Behar may have just stepped in it big time in an effort to attack Elon Musk. Then she may have made it worse with her attempted "clarification."
First, she claimed that President Donald Trump isn't bright enough to handle the job, so is relying on Musk. Then just like Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), who attacked Musk for only being a citizen for "22 years,"

During the first Trump administration I did not come close to being “tired of all the winning.” Much of the time was spent learning how to govern, like a baby giraffe standing up for the first time. Paul Ryan was, well, Paul Ryan, the Senate was split and many political appointees were simply not good, either for the job or people. But that was then, this is now. With a few exceptions, Trump’s personnel choices have been stellar, with the lesser character ones avoiding the requirement of Senate confirmation or rumors that quickly fade away as more facts come to light.

Democrats have found an immigrant they don't like, and that would be Elon Musk, who dared to support President Donald Trump during the campaign and now works with him to get to the bottom of government waste and fraud. One Democrat, though, Rep. Marcy Katpur of Ohio, had a particularly ugly moment using Musk's immigration status as a means to question his "loyalty."
"Mr. Musk has just been here 22 years," Kaptur said, as she complained about how he has citizenship with multiple countries. The congresswoman completely missed the point when it comes to how he is a citizen of the United States, and has been since 2002.
