In a stunning display of partisan opposition, Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) recently stirred controversy by openly expressing her support for Mexico and Canada over the United States amid President Trump's administration. Her comments, which have raised eyebrows among many, reflect a troubling trend of prioritizing foreign interests over national unity. It's a stark reminder of how far some are willing to go in resisting political opponents, even if it means undermining American interests in favor of foreign nations. As Crockett herself put it, “It’s really wild” – and the implications are anything but trivial.

Washington— The Defense Department said Friday that it’s cutting 5,400 probationary workers starting next week and will put a hiring freeze in place.
It comes after staffers from the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, were at the Pentagon earlier in the week and received lists of such employees, U.S. officials said. They said those lists did not include uniformed military personnel, who are exempt. Probationary employees are generally those on the job for less than a year and who have yet to gain civil service protection.
“We anticipate reducing the Department’s civilian workforce by 5-8% to produce efficiencies and refocus the Department on the President’s priorities

ABC News is reporting that the transgender community in Los Angeles was the “hardest hit” by the recent deadly wildfires, because of “the destruction of a safe space, built with love and care to support their healing.”
The claim is that because three “transitional” homes burned down, transgender residents suffered more than other residents, after thousands of homes, churches, libraries, grocery stores, community centers, andThe “transitional” homes were not even unique to transgender residents; they were also halfway houses for people recently released from prison, and for homeless people whom L.A. is trying to move off the streets.

KYIV — The Trump administration is close to a deal with Ukraine for access to hundreds of billions of dollars worth of mineral rights in a giant step toward ending Russia’s brutal war on the European nation just three days before the third anniversary of Moscow’s full-scale invasion, The Post can reveal.
Full details of the tentative agreement were unclear late Friday, but the good-cop-bad-cop approach of President Trump and his special envoy, retired Gen. Keith Kellogg, helped close the gap between Washington and Kyiv.
Kellogg, believed to be one of the few Trump administration officials still sympathetic to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, began his two-day trip

Kash Patel, who was recently sworn in to serve as the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), warned that there would not be a “two-tier system of justice,” but rather one “singular system of justice for all Americans.”
“For those of you who think that there’s going to be a two-tier system of justice — not with Attorney General Bondi,” Patel said. “There is a singular system of justice for all Americans, and there will be accountability.” “And, the reason that this mission is so important is simply the following; a hundred thousand people last year — raped,” Patel added. “A hundred thousand people died of CCP fentanyl

President Donald Trump abruptly fired Air Force Gen. CQ Brown as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Friday, sidelining a history-making fighter pilot and respected officer as part of a campaign to rid the military of leaders who support diversity and equity in the ranks.
The ouster of Brown, only the second Black general to serve as chairman, is sure to send shock waves through the Pentagon.
His 16 months in the job had been consumed with the war in Ukraine and the expanded conflict in the Middle East.
“I want to thank General Charles ‘CQ’ Brown for his over 40 years of service to our country, including as our

Democrats have remained notably silent since Kash Patel became the first "person of color" to head the FBI, after previously emphasizing diversity and representation on the campaign trail and during the Biden era.
Patel, a fervent Trump ally, underwent a rocky path to confirmation, with Democrats on the panel attempting to delay the vote earlier this month and continuing to protest his nomination into Thursday.
Despite the criticism, Democrats have yet to make note of Patel, who is Indian-American, making history as the first "person of color" FBI director.

National Harbor, Maryland — Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle proudly declared that “Andrew Breitbart was CPAC” at the 2025 Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday. (Photo) Speaking with White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair on stage at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Boyle gave a shout-out to the late founder of Breitbart News after mentioning some of President Donald Trump’s accomplishments since he reentered office.
“I think I saw somebody say that there are more executive orders we’ve seen President Trump sign than there are prime time viewers on CNN, right? But the level of action is just incredible…

Chelsea Milburn is a disabled veteran of the United States Navy who, until recently, worked for the United States Department of Education. As part of cuts from the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency, she has lost her job. On Wednesday, she appeared on the news and lamented, “They don’t care about how this impacts me or people like me. And to me, it’s inhumane. It feels like they’re ignoring our personhood and not respecting us as human beings or as American citizens.” She is not wrong.

Washington— President Trump revealed Friday that he’s considering merging the US Postal Service with the Commerce Department.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that his administration is looking at a “merger” of the two government institutions to increase efficiency.
“We want to have a post office that works well and doesn’t lose massive amounts of money, and we’re thinking about doing that, and will be a form of a merger, but it’ll remain the Postal Service, and I think it’ll operate a lot better than it has been over the years,” Trump said.
He had floated the consideration back in December after learning that the USPS lost $9.5 billion

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum filed a controversial series of changes to the country’s constitution that would essentially block any investigation or action by foreign law enforcement agencies without their permission. The provisions could enable Mexico to criminally pursue anyone involved in those investigations. The changes come after the United States designated six Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and announced the intent to eradicate them.
This week, Sheinbaum filed a series of changes to the country’s constitution that, if approved by the legislative branch, would change Articles 40 and 19 of Mexico’s constitution.
