What would a Harris-Walz administration
be doing right now?

The final swing state had come in for Kamala Harris in the early morning of Nov. 6. With Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes, along with victories in Michigan and Wisconsin, the country’s first female president-elect pulled off an improbable victory over Donald Trump, winning the Electoral College 271-267. “With this mandate, I’m here to ensure the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of the American people!” the president-elect ensured during her victory speech. For many pundits and pollsters, this hypothetical was a very real possibility going into Election Day. Forecasters from Nate Silver to Larry Sabato to FiveThirtyEight and pundits from Bill Kristol to James Carville to Joe Scarborough all had Harris winning.

The scenario came closer than I would like to admit. Fortunately, Pennsylvania's well-oiled and efficient cheating machine was prevented from doing its full potential dirty work in pulling the democrats over the top. Walz would currently be filling in the gaps in the democrat stable of LGBTQ post turtles and Chinese CCP agents while Harris would be a cackling maniac cranking out her famous salads on the Leftist networks that suddenly received huge government endowments to practice their poison propaganda. The country, meanwhile, would be crashing and burning. We dodged an 88mm artillery round.

I recently returned from a much-needed week away from arctic Michigan, and I’ll admit I (mostly) took a break from the news as well. Holy cow, I missed a lot. This is the new normal with President Donald Trump back at the helm. Between his many social media posts, announcements and executive orders, Trump can control the news cycle like no one else. After four years of former President Joe Biden, who essentially hid from the news media and the public for much of that time, it’s easy to feel whiplash. Trump is just getting started, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Thursday marks his first full month in office

The hard left of the Democratic Party is trying to force Gov. Kathy Hochul to fire Mayor Eric Adams because it thinks he might help the Trump administration remove illegal migrant criminals who are menacing New Yorkers. How dare he! Forget that Adams is New York’s democratically elected mayor. Forget that most New Yorkers want illegal alien gangbangers out of our city. The self-described party of “democracy” wants, yet again, to kill democracy to save it. The mere fact that Adams sat on the curvy couch of “Fox & Friends” with border czar Tom Homan last week sent his Trump-deranged fellow Democrats into a tizzy.

Now that Kamala Harris is no longer vice president, can I say the quiet part out loud? She was embarrassing and clumsy. She made me cringe. Watching Harris speak to a crowd or give an interview made me feel humiliation for our country. I'd think, this is our best? This is who we brought to the world stage to represent us? After listening to Vice President JD Vance defend free speech and blast censorship last week in Europe, I don't feel like that anymore. This week, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, raised the prospect of impeaching President Donald Trump over the Justice Department’s decision to withdraw the indictment of New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The Trump administration is engaged in “an attack on the Department of Justice for engaging in corruption prosecutions,” Raskin told CBS on Sunday. Such behavior “could be impeachable in a different political environment.” A shorter version is that you can bet the bank Raskin would be gung-ho to impeach Trump if there were only a “different political environment.” The problem, of course, is that the Constitution specifies that

A month into his second administration, President Donald Trump has signed dozens of executive actions and advanced key policies reshaping both Washington and the office of the presidency. Trump has instituted a broad mandate to curb illegal immigration, overhauled multiple federal agencies, threatened and imposed tariffs on trading partners, and drawn the ire of Democrats who are expressing concern that the executive branch is bypassing the legislature. Here are 30 takeaways from Trump’s first 30 days back in office.

On Friday, Vice President JD Vance gave a historic defense of free speech at the Munich Security Conference. In front of a clearly hostile assemblage of European diplomats, Vance confronted our allies with their systemic censorship as they demanded more support to “defend democracy.” For the free speech community, it was akin to Ronald Reagan’s call: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Vance questioned how our allies could claim to be the bastions of freedom while denying free expression to their citizens. He then delivered this haymaker: “If you are running in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you.

In “Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis,” J.D. Vance wrote, “I don’t believe in epiphanies. I don’t believe in transformative moments, as transformation is harder than a moment.” Despite that profound point, on Feb. 14, Vance found that transformative moment. Speaking to European leaders at the Munich Security Conference, he shocked his audience by confronting them over their attacks on free speech in the West. For the free speech community, it was truly Churchillian — no less than the famous Iron Curtain speech in which Churchill dared the West to confront the existential dangers of

Even a significant share of Democrats support Trump’s policies. If you’re looking for a reason why Trump won so handily against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, illegal immigration looms large. The online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from Jan. 29-31, asked 1,478 adults around the country four questions about Trump’s immigration policies and the actions he has taken so far. The poll has a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points.

Although Hamas claimed that the four bodies released to Israel on Thursday included Shiri Bibas and her two young children Ariel and Kfir, an Israeli forensics team announced late on Thursday evening that the body believed to be Shiri’s was not, in fact, Shiri Bibas. The president noted that the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) ostensibly prohibits illegal immigrants from obtaining most taxpayer-funded benefits, but he argued that in the decades since its passage “numerous administrations have acted to undermine the principles and limitations directed by the Congress.”

On Tuesday, Elon Musk responded to a proposal from James Fishback, CEO of Azoria, regarding a unique idea: the “DOGE Dividend.” This initiative aims to issue a $5,000 tax refund check to approximately 79 million American families, funded by a projected total savings of $2 trillion from DOGE. Fishback emphasizes that this dividend would not only compensate taxpayers for the misuse of their dollars but also help restore trust in government accountability.Fishback’s argument is compelling: the DOGE Dividend represents a social contract between taxpayers and their government, a much-needed refund given the egregious waste uncovered. As Fishback puts it,
