Hamas terrorists created a deranged public spectacle to mark the release of the bodies of four slain Israelis, including Shiri Bibas and her two young children Ariel and Kfir, in the first transfer of dead hostages since the cease-fire deal with Hamas went into effect last month.
Hamas handed over the bodies of the three Bibas family members and Oded Lifshitz, a retired journalist, on Thursday. An Israeli forensics team must still confirm the identities of the four dead hostages, which could take up to 48 hours.

Even as the investigation continues into the terrifying crash that happened Monday involving a Delta jet at Toronto's Pearson Airport, Democrats and the mainstream media think they've already found the culprits: President Donald Trump and the Elon Musk-led Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
As we reported earlier, Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in particular has been doubling and tripling down on his (false) claims that the "cuts" that have been made in FAA staffing led to the Monday incident in which the plane landed awkwardly in bad weather, lost one of its wings, and rolled to an upside down position.

At a time when the Trump administration is taking actions of world-historical importance, America’s Democrats are launching the lamest attacks imaginable.
Thus, soon after President Trump’s inauguration a memo evidently went out to Democrats in the press to blame the president for the high price of eggs. It started in January, when average prices for December–prior to Trump’s inauguration!–were reported. And it has continued non-stop. The reason for the high price of eggs is obvious: supply and demand, driven by the loss of huge numbers of chickens due to avian flu. And pretty much all of the increase

President Donald Trump is posting strong approval ratings four weeks into his administration, according to several polls released Tuesday and Wednesday.
An Economist-YouGov poll published on Wednesday shows that Trump has a plus five percent net rating among 1,603 U.S. adults. Of the respondents, 50 percent approve of Trump’s performance thus far, including 32 percent who “strongly approve.” Conversely, 45 percent of respondents disapprove of his performance, while five percent do not have an opinion. Of the overall sample, 37 percent “strongly disapprove” of Trump.
Half of the 1,451 registered voters included in the sample said Trump has their approval, while 47 percent said the opposite.

President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order Wednesday eliminating federal taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants.
The order will direct all federal agencies to identify all federally funded programs currently providing any financial benefits to illegal immigrants and "take corrective action." The order is intended to ensure that any federal funds to states and localities "will not be used to support sanctuary policies or assist illegal immigration."
It will also mandate improvements in eligibility verification to prevent federal benefits from going to anyone in the U.S. illegally. The order will show that Trump is "committed to safeguarding federal public health benefits for American citizens

Want to know how DEI proliferated in corporate America, especially with federal contractors? Just follow the money ... while you still can.
Over the last several months, major American corporations have retreated rapidly from the progressive quota system in hiring and promotions, in virtue signaling as well. Earlier, I wrote about the financial industry hitting reverse on policies they adopted just a few years ago, presumably after discovering just how unpopular those turned out to be with Americans. Today, the Wall Street Journal reports that the Trump administration has ordered executive-branch agencies to no longer consider DEI compliance in contracting, removing the financial incentives from the rotten progressive structure:

Donald Trump has never been able to keep his mouth shut, and in the past, that has been a liability.
So far, in his second term, his ability to speak for hours has been a huge asset. Nature abhors a vacuum, and Donald Trump's willingness to explain in exhaustive detail what he and his team are doing has drowned out all the criticisms and attacks being aimed at him and his. Trump's remarkable success this term compared to his last isn't accidental or simply due to a vibe shift. It's not just that Americans are much more willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and less willing

Microsoft believes it has made a key breakthrough in quantum computing, unlocking the potential for quantum computers to solve industrial-scale problems. The software giant has spent 17 years working on a research project to create a new material and architecture for quantum computing, and it’s unveiling the Majorana 1 processor, Microsoft’s first quantum processor based on this new architecture.
At the core of a quantum computer are qubits, a unit of information in quantum computing much like the binary bits that computers use today. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, and Google have all been trying to make qubits as reliable as binary bits for years now because

I can’t imagine why anyone would be upset over this news: according to a report from the New York Times, sources say that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) “will begin laying off roughly 6,000 employees on Thursday as part of the Trump administration’s push to downsize the federal work force.”
The report says the layoffs “will target relatively recent hires at the I.R.S., which the Biden administration had attempted to revitalize with a surge of funding and new staff, the people said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.”
The Trump administration has begun laying off probationary employees — who do not enjoy as much job protection

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance alternated scathing criticisms of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, signaling a shifting, albeit unified, front in relations between the administration and officials in Kyiv.
Things have been growing somewhat contentious between Zelensky and President Trump, with the latter having insisted on a rapid and reasonable end to the ongoing war with Russia.
A leaked document from earlier this week reportedly outlines Trump’s demand for a $500 billion “payback” from Ukraine in any negotiated peace deal to end the war with Russia. According to the Telegraph, which viewed the confidential document,

WASHINGTON — Arkansas Senator John Boozman has joined Senators Todd Young (R-IN) and Mark Warner (D-VA) in introducing a bipartisan resolution to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. This significant World War II battle between U.S. and Japanese forces in the Pacific theater began on February 19, 1945, and concluded on March 26, 1945.
"The 80th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima is a solemn yet important reminder of the sacrifice of the Greatest Generation," said Boozman. "The resilience and courage of our U.S. Marines was famously characterized as a display of uncommon valor. Decades later, we continue to remember and honor our servicemembers’ heroism.

President Trump signed an executive order Tuesday affirmatively pulled all the "independent" boards, commissions, and agencies that have proliferated since the Roosevelt administration under the management of the White House. The order, titled Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies – The White House, states, "For the Federal Government to be truly accountable to the American people, officials who wield vast executive power must be supervised and controlled by the people’s elected President."
In an informational document about the executive order, shared with The Washington Post, White House officials referred to “so called independent agencies,” citing the FTC, FCC and SEC as examples
