FBI employees who "simply followed orders" with respect to their investigations into Jan. 6 defendants will not be fired or face any other penalties, Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove confirmed in an internal memo. Bove's memo this week accused Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll of refusing to reply to requests from President Donald Trump's administration to identify "the core team in Washington, D.C. responsible for the investigation relating to events on January 6, 2021."
"That insubordination necessitated, among other things, the directive in my January 31, 2025 memo to identify all agents assigned to investigations relating to January 6, 2021.

The Arab world and many world leaders have rejected President Donald Trump’s plan, outlined on Feb. 4, for the United States to take over the Gaza Strip.
Key nations, including U.S. allies, have rejected it outright.
Saudi Arabia reiterated that it won’t normalize its relations with Israel without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Its foreign ministry also opposed Trump’s plan to resettle Gaza’s current residents elsewhere.
France’s foreign ministry, opposing the plan, was quoted in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz as saying, “[The plan] would constitute a serious violation of international law, an attack on the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinians,

Congressional Democrats have begun scheming to use an upcoming government battle to force concessions from President Donald Trump.
Though the next spending deadline is in mid-March, Congress has yet to agree on anything, let alone a deal to avert a crisis.
“Democrats say they have little appetite to help Republicans, given Trump’s latest moves, and intend to use their leverage in the spending fight,” according to The Hill.
Sen. Patty Murray, the top Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee, warned reporters earlier this week that “the level of trust is at the lowest I have ever seen it here in Congress,

The U.S. has won a major concession in the Panama Canal, the State Department announced on Wednesday night.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio successfully negotiated a new deal with the nation of Panama that would grant the U.S. the right to pass through the waterway without being charged fees. The move, State said, will save the U.S. government millions of dollars a year. Saving millions a year may seem like a drop in the bucket compared to other government expenses - like buying subscriptions to Politico PRO - but it is a major symbolic win as the Panama Canal was a central part

Wednesday marks the 39th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD).
President Donald Trump commemorated this day by signing an executive order banning so-called “transgenders” from women’s sports.
Going forward, any school that allows men to compete against women or use their locker rooms will lose federal funding under Title IX.
For anyone who thinks this is rare, it is not. Townhall covered how a shocking United Nations report titled "Violence against women and girls in sports" showed that female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals to so-called "transgender" athletes.
The order, titled "No Men in Women's Sports," mandates that Title IX be interpreted as prohibiting

American taxpayers are no longer subsidizing foreign media once funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), prompting leftwing concern over the potential impact on global journalism and “democracy.”

Antisemitism may be one of the most, if not the civilized world's most ancient hatreds, and it resurfaces with baffling regularity. Most recently, hatred of the Jewish people is rearing its ugly head on American college campuses, where young skulls full of mush whose grandfathers may well have helped liberate German death camps are wearing kaffiyehs and screaming Hamas slogans.
At one school, the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Manhattan, is being sued by Jewish students who were locked by security personnel into a school library to protect them from their fellow students, who had been whipped into an antisemitic rage, in October 2023.

This week, a massive firefight broke out between Democrats and Team Trump over the White House takeover of the U.S. Agency for International Development. The USAID managed approximately $40 billion in fiscal year 2023; its original mandate, established under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, was to spread American influence across the globe through aid to various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Over time, however, USAID morphed into a piggy bank for a wide variety of international organizations with agendas ranging from green energy policy to the spread of left-wing gender and racial politics.

This week we learned that the Trump administration is drafting an executive order aimed at abolishing the Department of Education.
Since future administrations can easily overturn executive orders, Trump’s order would strategically weaken the department while reinforcing the need for congressional action to abolish it entirely.
Why do we even have a Department of Education in the first place? As Reason Magazine noted a few years ago, the Department of Education wasn’t so much created to make education better, but actually as a political favor to the National Education Association (NEA), which had backed Jimmy Carter’s 1976 campaign after he promised to establish the agency.

Trump’s new Attorney General Pam Bondi has hit the ground running. If she succeeds in implementing her ambitious agenda, America will be a substantially stronger republic.
The single aspect of Old Joe Biden’s misrule that makes him by far the worst president in American history was his politicization of the Justice Department and his use of it (with Merrick Garland’s willing help) to try to ensnare and destroy Trump with an array of bogus charges. Bondi is tackling that corruption head-on: Fox News reported Tuesday that among the new attorney general’s first directives are “orders to combat the weaponization of the legal system.”

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) suffered another health scare Wednesday when he reportedly fell down the stairs in the Senate following a vote for HUD Secretary. Little information has come out so far: (X) This is far from the first time the 82-year-old former majority leader has had a health scare. He also fell in December 2024 and had several strange “freezing” episodes in the last few years as well. In August 2023, he blanked out while speaking to the press. As RedState’s Bonchie wrote at the time:
A scary scene unfolded amidst all the other news on Wednesday after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell froze up

It did not take long for Democrats to begin the process of overturning the results of President Trump’s historic election victory.
Radical left Rep. Al Green (D-TX) on Wednesday morning went on an insane rampage against Trump’s provocative comments during a press conference Tuesday night with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from Israel. As Jim Hoft reported, Trump floated the idea of the US taking over the Gaza Strip and redeveloping it.
Doing so could force Gaza residents, who almost uniformly hate Jews and the West, to leave and bring more peace to Israel.

Now it is starting to make sense.
Unbeknownst to the vast majority of Americans, Politico was receiving huge amounts of taxpayer money from USAID.
As Donald Trump and Elon Musk seek to gut the corrupt agency and stop the disbursement of billions of dollars around the world, many people have pointed out some of the most ludicrous “grants” handed out by USAID.
Among the lucky recipients is Politico, a prominent digital news company covering U.S. and global politics.

Argentina will pull out of the World Health Organization (WHO), a presidential spokesperson said on Wednesday, following President Donald Trump's executive order last month to pull the United States out of the global health group.
Trump, who Argentina's libertarian President Javier Milei considers a close ally, moved to exit the organization on his first day in office on January 20.
Milei ordered Argentina's withdrawal because of "deep differences" regarding the WHO's management of health issues, notably the COVID-19 pandemic, presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni said, citing Argentina's months-long lockdown under the previous leftist government.

CJ Pearson is taking legal action against New York Magazine after its “despicable” cover story that he feels falsely painted pro-Donald Trump conservatives as racist. New York Magazine writer Brock Colyar warned that a new generation of “casually cruel Trumpers” are “conquering Washington” in a cover story headlined “The Cruel Kids’ Table.” The glossy feature has come under fire for cropping black attendees out of the cover image while quoting an attendee who complained that “the entire room is white.”

Pam Bondi was sworn in as attorney general on Wednesday in the Oval Office with President Trump looking on and telling reporters she would be “as impartial as a person can be.”
“I know I’m supposed to say, ‘She’s going to be totally impartial with respect to Democrats.’ And I think she will be as impartial as a person can be,” Trump said during Bondi’s swearing-in ceremony.
Bondi, Florida’s former top prosecutor, was joined by family members as she was sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The conservative justice also presided over the swearing in of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

Yesterday I took note of the Trump Department of Education’s investigation of five universities for their toleration of anti-Semitism. First on the DoE list is Columbia University and and rounding it out is the University of Minnesota. I commented that Columbia should be razed and the ground underneath it salted — the Carthaginian solution. A prominent historian and teacher reasonably implored me:
"Please be a little more moderate in your language. Making comments like 'Columbia University should be razed to the ground' are painful to read for Columbia grads like myself, who are grateful for all we’ve received from that great institution of learning. In the spirit of Burke, I believe,

A U.S. Senate committee voted on Wednesday to advance President Donald Trump's nominee Howard Lutnick, billionaire chairman and CEO of Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald, to run the Commerce Department.
The Senate Commerce Committee voted 16-12 with all Democrats except Senator John Fetterman opposing the nomination. Lutnick said last week he has advised Trump to pursue across-the-board tariffs country-by-country to restore "reciprocity" to America's trading relationships.
Democrats voted against the nomination, and also sharply criticized Trump adviser Elon Musk's efforts to restructure U.S. agencies.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) has called for the deportation Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), a U.S. citizen, to her birth country of Somalia.
“America would be a better place if @IlhanMN were deported back to Somalia,” Gill wrote Tuesday on the social platform X.
Gill, a first-term lawmaker representing Texas’s 26th Congressional District, was responding to a clip another X user shared Tuesday of the Minnesota Democrat’s recent interview with a reporter.
Thirty minutes later, in another post, Gill wrote that “we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country.”

Some of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's largest donors have abandoned them amid rumors that the couple's marriage is on the rocks.
The 44th president of the United States is in the process of building his Obama Presidential Center on the south side of Chicago, but at least some of the donors the couple has turned to over the past few years are now backing down, according to the Daily Beast.
Among them is Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, who bailed the Obamas out in 2022 with $100million each, boosting the year's total to more than $311million.

The defeated Democrats are so screwed up that they installed David Hogg as their second-in-command at the DNC, so these dorks are not going to be our biggest problem. Neither is the regime media, which is totally confused and baffled both at Donald Trump’s popularity and at the sheer speed and volume of his assault on the Establishment. No, our biggest problem in making America great again is going to be other Republicans.

In this episode of "Good for Me but Not for Thee"...
Cast your mind back to the time when residents of the wealthy enclave island of Martha's Vineyard vociferously defended illegal aliens and their "right" to be in America. Then, in 2022, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) ingeniously flew illegals to the island. In a word, all snobbish hell broke loose.
Vineyard officials begged for federal assistance — after just 50 illegals arrived on their little Shangri-La.
The illegals were promptly shipped off the island to a military base.
Hypocrisy to the max? Not quite. But what follows is.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene says she plans to introduce legislation to abolish the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and to finally give the United States a national language.
The United States has long been considered a multilingual country, causing mass confusion in some areas that are flooded with Hispanic immigrants. Making English, the most widely spoken language in the world, the official language of the United States is a common sense initiative.
Greene’s move to abolish USAID comes amid already-known but now-proven discoveries that the agency is a slush fund for globalist interventionism and woke radical left programs. It’s also the worst offender of violating Presidential Executive Orders

His appetite for territorial expansion has not waned. Before he even returned to the White House, Donald Trump set his sights on the Panama Canal and then resource-rich Greenland. Now, the president who once railed against foreign entanglements wants to acquire some of the most disputed geography in the world.
“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip,” Trump announced Tuesday. Once redeveloped and under an American flag, he added, it could become “the Riviera of the Middle East.” The news shocked the world, but not Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who stood by the side of the president and smiled.

Seth Rich was a DNC operative. He was “mysteriously murdered in the summer of 2016” just “weeks before” Wikileaks released the results of its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. The matter of who leaked Clinton’s emails to Wikileaks directly pertains to the Russian Collusion Hoax that was perpetrated against President Trump. The murder is still unsolved. And the FBI still refuses to turn over records pertaining to the case to attorney Ty Clevenger, despite a federal judge ruling that the agency must do so way back in November of 2023. Americans have been largely pleased with President Donald Trump’s deluge of executive orders. But not all of them. Public support is weak for his order to withdraw the U.S. from the World Health Organization and the Paris climate treaty. This is curious. One is clearly a political organization, the other a useless and wasteful effort. The failure by a significant swath of our countrymen to recognize this is worrisome.
This is actually the second time Trump pulled the U.S. from the WHO. The first departure was in 2020. It pleased us then that no longer would this country “take part

What the hell did I watch? If anything, the anti-Elon Musk rally last night proved two things: Trump derangement syndrome has been replaced by Elon Musk derangement syndrome. Second, the Democratic Party has no idea how to win elections. The reports of a rudderless, leaderless, and divided organization were confirmed last night. It also showed that they have no message other than ‘me no like this Trump administration,’ of which Elon Musk is a top agent of the president. His Department of Government Efficiency is wiping the table clean, exposing waste and fraud, and getting these lazy DC government workers to quit.

As we reported earlier, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) made it clear the left was going to be ramping up their protests in the streets against President Donald Trump. Their claims are truly unhinged — because special government employees, Elon Musk and his DOGE team, are operating as part of the Executive Office of the President to review government expenditures.
Yet Democrats have been leveling all kinds of crazy accusations against Trump and Musk, especially since Musk has been looking into the hornet's nest that is USAID. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) even accused Musk of "raiding the government, attempting to steal taxpayer money" from the Treasury Department.

We are living at a truly momentous time in history. Donald Trump illustrated that yet again on Tuesday evening during his press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “You have to learn from history,” Trump declared and proceeded to upend the political order that has prevailed in the Middle East for decades. It is a multiply failed order and new approaches are very, very long overdue, but no one has dared to question it and suggest new solutions. Until now.
The most momentous announcement of this most momentous of press conferences was Trump’s declaration that Hamas would not be permitted to regain control of Gaza and that, in fact,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s stress levels were likely the best they’ve ever been visiting the White House in years—a true ally was behind the Resolute Desk. It wasn’t some drooling vegetable from Delaware anymore who knew nothing about the situation between Israel and Hamas. The State Department and national security staffers who walked a waffled line between supporting Israel and her terrorist enemies—an untenable position that makes for sloppy messaging—are gone. It’s now the second presidency of Donald J. Trump, who stands firm behind Jerusalem with a massive arms package reportedly slated for the Jewish state soon.

President Donald Trump is reportedly set to sign an executive order Wednesday that would ban transgender athletes from playing in girl’s and women’s sports in schools that accept federal funding.

It’s been four months since Donald Trump and Republicans swept the 2024 elections — and Democrats haven’t learned a thing.
Here are three snapshots of a party wallowing in denial: When the eight candidates running to head the Democratic National Committee were asked if they believed “racism and misogyny” were factors in Kamala Harris’ defeat, all eight raised their hands.
When congressional Dems gathered outside the headquarters of the rogue USAID agency that Trump plans to shrink or close, one of their lead speakers was the antisemitic terror defender and America-hating Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Then there’s New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who said Saturday he was hiding an illegal immigrant
