The defeated Democrats are so screwed up that they installed David Hogg as their second-in-command at the DNC, so these dorks are not going to be our biggest problem. Neither is the regime media, which is totally confused and baffled both at Donald Trump’s popularity and at the sheer speed and volume of his assault on the Establishment. No, our biggest problem in making America great again is going to be other Republicans.

I think most of us are cautious. We dont like to make a move without considering all the options and possibilities. Then we carefully step forward. Sure, most millionaires are bold and decisive and strike while the iron is hot. So do the dirt poor and the dead. The rich just got lucky with their risks.
I'll never be rich, but I'm less likely to be poor also. Thats why I am uncomfortable with bold decisive action. Keep winning and all is cool. Start losing and we will lose big.

The squeamish Republicans are on the take ... it has nothing to do with integrity or meaningful consideration of the issues!

Sometimes you can't take your time and consider all the options. Sometimes the situation demands an immediate response. Collins, Murkowski, McConnell, et al - they're not cautious. They're shallow, vain creatures who if they weren't lucky enough to get elected to the Senate - might be able to work as a greeter at Walmart. Seriously - they are useless except for the vote they cast.

I don't mean to upset everyone - - but - - just think about all of the recent Pubbie "leaders" whom we've had - -
- - Truant Lott - - John Boner - - Denny Hastert - - Paul RINO - - Fightin' Roy Blunt - - and, of course, MultiUseless Mitch. Decades of mushy, wasted, unpursued opportunities.
Are you sick yet? Sorry - - but them's the facts.

We need to jettison all the RINO’s. Collins, Murkowski, McConnell, Ernst - they should all be primaried and removed. Just tell them “yeah, I know we said we’d leave you alone if you did the right thing this time.... but you’ve shown you can’t bectrusted.”

The biggest threat to Trump is still the cloud of would-be assassins, from foreign powers desiring to behead the USA to domestic hate pockets that still see him as worse than Hitler and Nebuchadnezzar, combined. Sure, PDJT has political complications from other Republicans; but the physical threats are still quite real.

FTA: "But there are Republicans who are just not built for that kind of firmness. They don’t want to be called “mean.” They don’t want to be called “bigots.” They just want to go along and get along, but it’s not that kind of world."
It's worse than that Kurt. Some of our "Republicans" are flat out demonrats in disguise! Murkowski and Collins are the easiest to see, but there are many others from a variety of states who are going to pop up like a Whack-a-Mole game in the coming months. Basically they'll take turns in sabotaging President Trump's agenda.
Every one of them that doesn't toe the Conservative line need to be identified and and expulsed from the Republican Party one way or the other. They can run as Demonrats or Independents, but I for one am sick and tired of these Republican gagas (go along to get alongs). The time for squeamishness is over. It's what is largely to blame for the huge mess we're in now.

Kurt is a bit of a slow learner. As we already know, President Trump endures a multipronged attack that will not relent. I remember Kurt lecturing American conservatives that need to wake up, smell the coffee and support Nikki Haley as a necessary Trump advocate or else we are doomed. And much more. Oh well. Kurt needs to sell articles and I need to stop reading them.

He's right that too many nominal "Republicans" get frightened when too much changes.
Crushing USAID and massive reworking of FBI and CIA are 'too much' for many of these mental lightweights. They will be saying "Oh, my, aren't you moving just a bit too fast? Or too far?"
As he says they cause friction in the system, a bad thing.

Schlichter is right about the RINOs. The WSJ has a long article about getting Thom Tillis to vote for Pete Hegseth. At one point, Tillis, desperately searching for anything to use against Hegseth, pompously (and arrogantly) told a potential witness that his opposition to Hegseth was about "protecting" Trump, presumably from a bad cabinet appointment. When Tillis failed to find corroboration for abuse rumors, and Thune essentially hung him out to dry (telling Tillis he'd have to explain his "no" vote to Trump), Tillis caved and voted "yes."
I hope Tillis gets primaried in 2026.
