Reflections on the Legacy of Jimmy Carter

Original Article

With the passing of Jimmy Carter at the age of 100, there is a scurry to rewrite the history of our 39th president. According to the popular narrative, Carter faced economic and foreign policy challenges, yet his accomplishments, such as the Camp David Accords, are remembered, as well as his lifelong dedication to humanitarian efforts and winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Carter’s true legacy is quite different. He was a godly man who was unprepared to serve as leader of the world’s superpower. His good — but naïve — intentions too often created disastrous results for our nation.

No tears from me. Carter lived a very good life with his family. More than I can say about us that lived through his four HORRIBLE and PAINFUL years. Carter's time in office reminds me of Joe's. One difference, Carter made stupid decisions, however, someone else are making them for Joe.

Sometimes a man unwittingly exposes his true nature. During the 1976 Presidential campaign, candidate Carter came to our Upstate town. I worked downtown and had no idea that he was there. I exited from our office building right into his reception line consisting of local Democrats. Along came Jimmah shaking every alternate outstretched hand. I extended my (brown) hand out among a line of whites. Carter skipped me first, then realized he was missing the only non-white hand and came back to shake mine with that toothy grin. Pandering right from then!! Anyway, RIP.

In her recent tell-all memoir, Connie Chung revealed that the sanctimonious Pharisee Jemmah Carter tried to play footsie with her under the table when she was interviewing him. That says it all. Detailing the failed Iran hostage operation to the Navy instead of the Air Force and Army- destined to fail in advance. The Air Force had the PAVE-LOWS ready to go but because Fool Carter had been in the Navy..Then his lasting legacy-giving away OUR canal. Worse than worthless.

Carter's endless support of Muslim terrorists proves that his "godliness" was an act. An evil man, shown by his evil actions. No matter what else anyone points to, his staunch support of evil terrorists shows his real character.

At least he was great fodder for SNL. The Three Mile Island spoof ("The Pepsi Syndrome"), where the President arrives and promptly enters the reactor compartment to put his nuclear engineering background to work. He re-emerges and reports 6 inches of radioactive water on the floor, but is also glowing and is taken to the hospital as the black cleaning lady (Violet, played by Garrett Morris) is then sent in to mop up. During the next day's press conference, the giant head of a 90-foot tall President appears in the window and announces changes to his personal life - as a 90-foot tall Violet appears next to him and they begin smooching as a horrified Rosalyn looks on.. Funny stuff.

Ol' Jimmah was the Worst. President. Ever...... at lease until Zero came along and stole that Booby Prize, then handed it on to his stooge/puppet, the HairSniffer. Those of us who endured Jimmah's time in the White House remember well the inept, stupid and evil things that he did.... I will not repeat them here. But he DID do ONE GOOD THING. Remember that loudmouth, huge-hat-wearing 'mother-in-law-from-Hell' Democrat Bella Abzug? After she lost her re-election to Congress, she got herself appointed to some Federal position where she continued to run her big mouth. Well, one day ol' Jimmah had had enough, and he FIRED her!

The Biden administration, whoever is running it, is illegitimate. The 2020 election was stolen, rigged to defeat Trump by any means necessary. Many means were employed, all illegal, all unconstitutional. The truth is coming out, bit by bit. We should know by now that the left could not care less about the Constitution; they hate the limits it imposes on government, so they ignore the Bill of Rights and most of the Articles. These past post-Constitutional four years have been a disaster by any measure, from the open border to the third world and China to the imposition of woke on our military.

Jimmy Carter was an awful president. He wasn’t a crook like Joe Biden, but for actual presidential acts, he was perhaps the worst. Certainly, he was the worst ex-president. In office, he did things like give away the Panama Canal, without retaining any control or even minimal security rights. Problems we are still dealing with right now. Not to mention the disastrous China appeasement policy. Wanting to recognize Red China was bad enough. But there was no reason to drop formal relations with Taiwan, the Republic of China. Many countries sent ambassadors to both. But no, Carter was always eager to help out the totalitarians.

Making liberals unhappy shouldn’t be Donald Trump’s only goal for his second inaugural address. But neither should he shy away from telling the truth because it will upset the reigning intelligentsia in the country. The fact is that the Democrats and their allies in the media—which means almost all the media—engaged in a years-long coverup of perhaps the greatest scandal in American history: the incompetence of the president of the United States.

Emboldened by correctly predicting Kamala would get the debate questions in advance (oh, I apologize, ABC, it was just the topics, not the questions, so it’s all good and you smell like a rose), I’m going to go way out on a limb with another prediction: Joe Biden will issue mass pardons to the J6 inmates. Before you say I’m crazy, here are numerous reasons why he might do it: It steals Donald Trump’s thunder of doing it himself five minutes after the inauguration Many J6 inmates are getting out anyway in a few weeks The J6 insurrection narrative is going to collapse as the evidence comes out

So it begins: a new year, a new presidency, and, for America, a new lease on life. Yet it feels as if we’ve been here before, doesn’t it? Political juggernaut Donald Trump has ascended like a Musk rocket and vanquished the Obama-Clinton-Deep-State machine. Authoritarian members of the medical community are panicking about “bird flu” and demanding masks, lockdowns, and experimental “vaccines.” National debt continues to rise, and the rusting, sclerotic Establishment offers only war, climate taxes, and central bank funny money as lead-weighted “life buoys” to keep the financial system afloat.

Jimmy Carter is dead, and he leaves behind him a legacy of utter failure as president and beyond. Among his numerous disastrous policies still harming the world today are his decades of legitimizing terrorist Hamas and undermining Israel. While Americans eulogize a man with no major lasting accomplishment, some Israeli and Jewish outlets are more bitterly remembering an antisemitic politician who spent years backstabbing them to appease radical jihadis. Carter received a Nobel Peace Prize after brokering a deeply flawed Arab-Israeli peace deal

For decades, Jews were the driving force behind Hollywood, as well as playing a prominent role onscreen. In the same way, they were once important behind-the-scenes publishers and, of course, major contributors as writers. Now, though, both Hollywood and the publishing world are blacklisting Jews, as antisemitism is the name of the game in these leftist bastions. Thankfully, one publishing house is still there for them, especially if, as Jews, they’re “out and proud.” With few exceptions, the big players in old-time Hollywood were Jewish

The fact is, Michelle Obama’s message of anxiety and uncertainty feels wildly out of touch with the reality many Americans are experiencing. In fact, a recent CBS News/YouGov poll found that 57% of Americans are hopeful

One of the defining features of America in the last 60 years is really horrible decisions by judges. At the Supreme Court level, we’ve repeatedly witnessed nine unelected autocrats abandon the Constitution and traditional principles of judicial construction to remake society according to their crazed leftist vision. State court judges don’t have quite the same reach (thank goodness), but they can certainly wreak havoc (look at the judicial war against Trump in NYC, D.C., and Georgia to understand that). Most recently, judges on Iowa’s Supreme Court seemingly have written the Fourth Amendment right out of the Constitution. One of the most hated British acts in Colonial America was the “general warrant”

On Sunday, December 22, a US Navy guided-missile cruiser, the USS Gettysburg, mistakenly shot down an American fighter jet over the Red Sea. This was not the first incident of friendly fire by the U.S. Navy, nor the most tragic. On Sunday morning, July 3, 1988, at the tail end of the Iran-Iraq War, an Aegis cruiser in the Persian Gulf, the USS Vincennes, fired two Standard Missiles at a commercial Iranian Airbus, IR 655. Captain Will Rogers III and his crew had mistaken the ascending passenger jet with 290 people on board for a descending Iranian F-14, a fighter plane.

The move in the final days of the administration will take non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters off the shelves by 2029 in a bid to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which climate change advocates and President Biden say cause global warming. The new rules will require new tankless gas water heaters to use about 13% less energy than today’s least efficient tankless models.
