The End of Never Trump

Original Article

Donald Trump’s sweeping victory in the 2024 election saw the end of a host of political assumptions — about the country, the inevitability of the left’s generation-shifting agenda and the inability of the Republican Party to penetrate key demographics that have proven resistant to its message. But it also ends one of the most vile and corrupt strains of political activity in the past eight years: the professionalized NeverTrump movement, which raised scads of cash — “generational wealth,” in the phrasing of Steve Schmidt — selling an obviously failed product to Trump’s antagonists.

The irrelevance of Liz Cheney is the part I like best.

Anyone who is associated with NeverTrump should be shunned by Republicans. Their actions are a indelible stain on their character and as pointed out in the article, based on ego and greed. We don't need them and we don't want them, ever again. Nor do they deserve sympathy. They chose the wrong path and they deserve whatever happens to them. Of course the collapsing media will drag the useful idiots out as long as Trump is around but the media has no standards or credibility either.

The turtle got the message. He is our of leadership and he will have no one to turn to if he berates the President. He has to be a good little boy until the end of this term of office. He really doesn't sound or look very good also. Did anyone else notice that?

This surprises me. I like Ben, but I figured that he'd be more sympathetic to these washed-up losers. The worst, most vile is Rick Wilson, the gnome that looks like a wet cue ball that somebody rolled through a pile of loose cat fur. A real POS.

A simmering rift between Joe Biden's family and staff has finally boiled over after his disastrous debate performance last week. The president blamed a cold and a generally 'bad night' for looking frail, confused, and struggling to finish sentences during the showdown with Donald Trump. Biden defiantly declared he would contest the November 5 election and win, despite a push by some top Democrats to convince him to stand aside.

Stocks in packaged-food companies have been under pressure in the past few days after President-elect Donald Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a well-known critic of Big Food’s influence on government, to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Among the actions laid out in his “Make America Healthy Again ” plan, Kennedy said he would stop allowing beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to use food stamps to buy soda or processed foods that are widely considered by nutritionists to be unhealthy. “It’s nonsensical for U.S. taxpayers to spend tens of billions of dollars subsidizing junk that harms the health of low-income Americans,” the HHS nominee wrote.
