There have been thousands of words written about the 2024 presidential election, but I think Jeffrey Tucker’s article at Brownstone best summarized the sea change in votes cast , and Victor Davis Hanson best describes the cabinet nominees so far of greatest significance, people selected in part to avenge their treatment by the prior lawless administration.
Tucker argues that what we are seeing is an actual, not purported, transfer of power. A transfer from a permanent government to a new one actually responsive to actual voters against pollster predictions:

Congress is full of RINOs and Never-Trumpers, let alone Democrats and Deep-Staters. 47 and his cabinet plus Vivek and Elon have their work cut out for them. The Deep State will not go silently into the dustbin of history. The Deep State is ruthless, especially with its survival in jeopardy. Godspeed 47, Vivek and Elon.

Excellent article. In essence, the federal bureaucracy has NO innate power beyond that granted SPECIFICALLY in law. If the agency finds it needs additional "authority" to carry out it's mission, they have to go back to Congress and request it. This comes directly from the SCOTUS and this sword to battle the bureaucracy has been picked up by the new administration and likely, with some prodding, the Congress. Sure there will be resistance but the Left has no power in Congress and the federal courts are bound by the SCOTUS decisions. There will be some Leftist judges who will test this but will get slapped down. Given this environment, most challenges will fall away before too long. There will be some legal battles to fight, like eliminating the DOE which was created by law. However, even if the DOE is not eliminated, it will be left largely powerless because Congress was too lazy to specifically define the DOE's powers. Rinse and repeat for other such agencies.
The funny thing is, Congress didn't want to be held accountable for actions taken by these agencies. When the EPA took action, the Congressmen could shrug and defer to the EPA. Hey, its about the environment. There was NO elected accountability. THAT insulation for Congressional/Presidential actions is about to end. Sure, you could create a new agency, but unless YOU Mr. Congressman (or Woman) specify things, which you can be held accountable for, the agency will be powerless. Further, the most objectionable of powers for the agencies will never be brought up for a vote because they will be impossible to get passed. It won't be worth the fight.
It would be funny to require each agency to review all it's rules to determine which ones lack the backing of law and then require them to come before Congress with a package to approve the ones critical to their mission AND to STOP ENFORCEMENT AND REMOVE the ones that lack legal standing. The agencies review should then be reviewed by an Executive group to ensure they did their job well and completely, which is unlikely because, after all, this is the government.
The gutting of the Administrative Courts is another enormous step for fairness and unbiased adjudication. I suspect the agencies are going to find out they cannot win anything except the most egregious violations. Further, we hear a lot about arbitrary assaults on businesses and people who differ from the current administrations views. I suspect a lot of those actions are about to be completely cut off as the power to enforce is brought into the sunlight and not the inner darkness in the bowels of of some agency.

Excellent article. We need more writers like Clarice to get the word out. The benefits of reeling in the government regulations sound great. It needs to be explained to the normies and proclaimed to all. The legacy media wants to keep that information away from us, so they can live off our misery, and suck the life out of people by brainwashing us into division and hate. Time will tell eventually, but time is of the essence right now. Thankfully, this president has already hit the ground running.

The key word in the title is "us", meaning ALL of us and not just Trump and his appointments. This time every single one of us needs to stand up and speak out to help support President Trump as he fights every effort to sabotage him and as the media continues its efforts to falsely portray those efforts.
We need to be ready to push back against our representatives if necessary, against the media, and even against our co-workers and neighbors by speaking the truth openly and unapologetically. Don't let Trump and his team do all the heavy lifting. We need to actively help out this time.
The force needs to be evident in ALL of us this time.

Turning three landmark SCOTUS rulings into a gutting of huge swaths of bureaucratic regulations will be a huge boon for the country. "Settled law" for 20-40 years, which was actually just bureaucratic regulations, can and will be swept away.
Erasing most of EPA's massive over stepping of their power will unleash the economy in a thousand different ways. The same will be true of the binding regulations of other agencies....finally cut and no longer binding.

What's going to be interesting is if people or businesses that were fined or sent to jail for 'breaking some law' that wasn't approved by Congress but just some bureaucrats will sue.

Just think. According to Dan Bongino, if the DemonRats hadn't cheated FJB et. al. into office, PDJT would be ending his second term, and they wouldn't have him to kick around anymore.
Instead, we got to see how incompetent and morally corrupt the DemonRats are, we got rid of Judas Pence and got JD Vance instead, AND PDJT et. al. had time to plan his comeback as well as get ready to hit the ground running as soon as he won the election.
In the movie Reagan, the KGB agent assigned to watch Reagan, called him the Guardian. There were two other guardians then, Pope John Paul II, and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Today, AFAIC, PDJT will be the Great Restorer. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see any other restorers on the world stage. Great Britain is certainly out of the picture, at least for now. And, I have no hope for the person the Vatican calls Pope.

Now the tough part begins. Mitch McConnell learned it’s lot easier to be in the minority and (at least sometimes) oppose the ruling party. Not the case now for the Republicans - at least Mitch is no longer totally in control.
