Within hours of the 2024 election being called for Donald Trump, I published this piece declaring the end of the era of corporate media dominance.
“The Road to the White House no longer goes through 60 Minutes, CNN, Fox News, Meet the Press, the New York Times editorial board, or the cover of Time Magazine,” I wrote. “That road now runs through the Joe Rogan Experience, Breitbart News, New Media, podcasts, talk radio, and social media.”

Rittenhouse, 21, took to X on Thursday, to declare his intentions to instead write in former Libertarian presidential nominee Ron Paul, who is not running for president.

Indeed, the “Patron Saint” of today’s Democrats, Thomas Jefferson, would not recognize their support for the United States’ religiously avowed enemies, e.g., Hamas and Fatah (Palestinian Authority). In his generation, he was the No.1 national hawk for war in the Middle East.

As I’m getting on in my middle-aged years, it seems that I’m more frequently encountering Boomers, Gen-Xers, and even some Millennials who criticize the frenetic flow of information on social media and the apparent bias in corporate news networks. The one person who knew that the Joe Biden presidency was something other than “Obama’s third term” was Barack Obama. If Obama had any illusions about his control over events, he was rudely disabused of them on July 21, 2024. This was the Sunday on which Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris.
The announcements caught Obama flatfooted. Biden had not consulted with his former boss either on his decision to drop out nor on his decision to endorse Harris. At 12:46 p.m. EDT, Biden posted on X his intention to withdraw.

PITTSBURGH and BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Democratic county officials admit they are breaking the law to overturn Pennsylvania’s Senate election for losing Sen. Bob Casey.
“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country,” said Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, who voted Thursday to count deficient provisional ballots a Pennsylvania Supreme Court order barred, in which voters did not sign in one of two necessary boxes.
“People violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.”
