President-elect Donald J. Trump has announced his nominee to run the Pentagon: Fox and Friends co-host Pete Hegseth. Hegseth, who continues to serve in the US Army, was seen as a frontrunner to run Veterans Affairs during the first Trump presidency and also served with various veterans’ advocacy groups like Concerned Veterans for America and Vets for Freedom. [Tweet, video]
Mr. Trump had this statement regarding his nominee:
I am honored to announce that I have nominated Pete Hegseth to serve in my Cabinet as The Secretary of Defense. Pete has spent his entire life as a Warrior for the Troops, and for the Country.

Over the weekend President-elect Donald Trump announced a push for national concealed carry reciprocity, a move which would make the concealed permit of any one state valid in the other 49.
On Sunday, Don Trump Jr. posted to Instagram, “Boom! My father just announced concealed carry reciprocity. The Second Amendment will stay and remain protected.”
Texas Gun Rights posted a video of Trump’s reciprocity announcement to X: [Tweet, video]
On September 18, 2015, just months after Trump launched his first presidential campaign, Breitbart News pointed to policy papers wherein he said:
The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway.

Liberal Supreme Court Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, 70, is not planning to step down from the bench to allow President Joe Biden to replace her with someone younger, sources close to her have said.
Left-wing pundits have begun calling for Sotomayor, who was nominated to the Supreme Court in 2009 by then-President Barack Obama, to resign since former President Donald Trump was reelected last week.
“This would probably be a good day for Sotomayor to retire,” David Dayen, executive editor of progressive magazine American Prospect, posted the day after the race was called for Trump: [Tweet]

When President Trump first entered office in 2017, he had no idea at the time that Barack Obama was spying on him and his family and had set him up in the Russia collusion scam.
It was the first time in history that the current US President was spying on the incoming President [Tweet] (Snip) In August 2022, the FBI, under the direction of Joe Biden, raided President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.
Months later it was reported that the Biden FBI was authorized to use deadly force during the Mar-a-Lago raid.
A federal judge later revealed that Joe Biden ordered the FBI access to Mar-a-Lago.

The Swamp at Foggy Bottom is not taking the news over President Trump’s reelection well at all.
The Washington Free Beacon reported Monday that the Biden State Department organized what is being described as a “cry session” on Friday. This sad meeting was put together by the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.
The outlet notes officials at the bureau have been working for months to sanction Israel for supposedly not doing enough to provide humanitarian aid in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip. The staffers at the meeting were actually urged to share their feelings rather than discuss how to serve the incoming Trump Administration.

Thousands of votes were allegedly deleted from Nevada US Senate over night from Thursday 11-7 to Friday 11-8-24. Candidate Sam Brown in the US Senate race eventually lost his race he was leading to his Democrat opponent.
What do Arizona and Nevada in the ‘Wild West’ have in common with the 2024 Election? Why it’s the endless ballot/vote counting after Election Day, as the evil forces work 24/7 to reach a plausible stolen vote total for their Democrat Senate Candidates to win by; Jacky Rosen in Nevada, and Ruben Gallego in Arizona.
Never mind the voice of the people in these races that AREN’T Too Big to Rig,

We've reported on multiple instances of media and voter meltdowns over Donald Trump's drubbing of Kamala Harris in the presidential election. One demographic that seems to be taking it particularly hard is women. They’re not only shaving their heads in protest, but some are talking about refusing to have sex with men or have babies (the “4B movement”) and showing their devotion to the cause by wearing blue bracelets.
What any of this will accomplish is beyond me.
Now some are taking out their frustrations by fantasizing about... killing men. Yes, really. We can only hope they're not serious, but sometimes social media phenomena do actually have deadly effects.

Those of us old enough to remember the beginning and heyday of the Tea Party know just how spontaneous and organic it was. Ordinary average Americans from all walks of life were fed up with bigger and more encroaching big government. At the time, the prime example of that bloated government was Obamacare. Tea Party people felt like the people in Washington, D.C., were not listening to them. So, they took to the streets and the ballot box in 2010 and made them listen. That same thing happened again in 2024. Big government was once again on the ballot,

When we begin a new article we choose a category that best fits the article.
When I write my "'The View' Spew" articles, I'd pick "entertainment" if it was an option. Today's "View Spew" is yet another perfect example of why. The ladies are a gift that just keeps on giving, particularly with respect to their loathing of President-elect Donald Trump.
In this episode, pretend-Republican co-host Ana Navarro went off the rails over Trump's naming of former acting ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) director Tom Homan as his border czar. Let's just say I expected Navarro's head to explode at any moment.
Navarro began:
Look, Donald Trump won the electoral vote.

It's no secret that there is no love lost between Frau Doktor Professor Jill Biden and Kamala "Queen of Word Salads" Harris. It's also no secret that Frau Doktor isn't happy about the way her husband was so rudely shoved aside in favor of the worst presidential candidate in the history of the republic.
On Veterans Day, when old Joe was making some remarks, Jill Biden ended up seated next to Kamala Harris, and the expressions were... revealing. [Tweet]
Old Joe, on the other hand, appeared to get a little emotional over the whole thing, although it's unlikely he twigged to the sudden drop in air temperature

Just because the election is over doesn't mean that the refrain of "You can't hate the media enough" doesn't still hold true. They can't stop themselves from giving the American public ample reasons to hate them, and it's only going to get worse as their sworn enemy, Donald Trump, makes his way back to the White House.
You might as well head over to Polymarket and make a bet that the left's next political cudgel they'll try to wield against Trump will be this: He's weaponizing the Department of Justice against his political enemies! If this sounds familiar, that's because Joe Biden's very own DOJ has spent the last four years

Last week Tuesday, 5 November, the progressive socialist left, well, to put it into the southern lexicon, got taken behind the woodshed for a butt whuppin'. Former President, now President-Elect, Donald Trump put together an incredible coalition of Americans who resoundingly rejected Kamala Harris and her attempt to continue the failed policies of the Biden-HARRIS administration. We were told that we would have to wait days, maybe weeks, to find out the results of the election. Nah, it came late that evening.
The early indicators were there when Miami-Dade and Duval Counties in Florida went to Trump.
