#4. Please tell us why. He’s not a DEI hire like Loyd Austin. Loyd barely made it through West Point and all of his promotions came because of his skin color. Hespeth has succeeded on his own merits. Next, get rid of Medals Milley.

Seriously? Tulsi Gabbard has gotten nothing. Nothing left for her. I don't understand this one or Kristi Noem. Tulsi would have been a far better pic for Homeland Security. She put it all on the line and is the only one with nothing.

I quit watching Fox many years back, so I have no idea about this guy. I'll have to take Trump's judgement on this. Re #1. Key point. There are TWO very different Bronze Star awards. One is for doing a good job....can be a paperwork and efficiency, a 'meritorious' award . Add the "V device", lierally a tiny metal "V" in the center of the ribbon bar, and this denotes valor in combat. I have no idea which he has, possibly one each. Second awards of the same medal gets a tiny metal oak leaf on the ribbon bar to denote the second award. Not trying to take anything away from this guy, just that most people believe that the Bronze Star is only awarded for valor in combat. Many are "attaboy" medals for good work, and I think that this form of Bronze Star should be abolished and the medal be only a medal for valor in combat.

All online sourcevrefer to his medals as "Bronze Stars" rather than "Bronze Star for valor". Not conclusive, but suspicious. Not even remotely a negative for him, just a clarification that getting a Bronze Star can often be for efficient performance of the job, not necessarily for valor in combat.

A therapist who treats illegal immigrants says her phone has been ringing off the hook since President-elect Donald Trump was declared the winner in the November election. Muriel Casamayor, a licensed therapist who works with immigrants living in the U.S. legally and illegally, claims she hears daily from people who are horrified by Trump’s pledge to embark on the largest deportation program in the country’s history, according to local San Diego outlet KPBS. The president-elect had long pledged to conduct mass deportations, and the GOP made it part of their official platform ahead of its convention in July. “There’s a lot of fear, a lot of uncertainty, a lot of anxiety,”

After four years of Biden-Harris, US truckers are ecstatic about President Trump’s victory. They’re eager for the economy, and their businesses, to recover and thrive. Seventy percent of all US freight moves by truck. Thanks to our great highways and efficient truckers, we can enjoy pineapples in winter and get fresh eggs and milk, no matter how far from a farm we live. Under Joe-Kamal, food prices hit record highs. But in normal conditions, food and consumer products stay affordable because stores depend on fast, reliable deliveries, reducing the need to hold excessive inventory. This cuts costs on real estate, rent, insurance, and labor—savings that are passed along to consumers.

The left is melting down over President-elect Donald Trump's choice of Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense. As I reported earlier, Sen. Elizabeth Warren attacked him as "unqualified," perhaps not even understanding he was a decorated veteran with a 20-year military background. But she claimed authority to say that since she "leads" a military personnel panel in the Senate and her brothers served. So you know the Democrats are going to try to fight Hegseth's approval. But Warren got buried by people in response on X. Warren wasn't the only one losing her mind. Some in the defense world were upset and Scott Jennings took down the critics on CNN.
