Left-wing late night television host Jimmy Kimmel had a full-blown meltdown over the fact that former President Donald Trump won his reelection campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris. In his opening monologue, Kimmel claimed, “It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard working immigrants who make this country great, for health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech” on Tuesday. He then went on to say that we let down our “allies” in Ukraine and NATO, as well as “democracy and decency.” Kimmel’s eyes teared up as he was speaking.

Democrats didn’t just lose an election, they lost a political party, the world’s oldest. Founded in 1828, Democrats will sow chaos no more. The Civil War’s perpetrators have finally come undone.
Two factors will contribute to the party’s rapid disappearance on the national level. Without control of the presidency and Congress, many Democrats will retire when their terms end, a process already underway. Once in the minority, their ability to demand kickbacks vanishes.
“Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan," said President Kennedy following the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Obviously, JFK didn't know his own party.
Democrats don't bother with mundane means of execution like circular firing squads. Following a defeat that the entire party believed couldn't happen, Democrats created a mass extinction event — a dinosaur-killing asteroid — that hit prominent party luminaries from every direction all at once.
There's already blood on the floor, and there won't be much left to "autopsy" if any Democrats actually wanted to examine the reasons why they lost.

Maybe former President Obama got the message when he spoke to African Americans in Philadelphia. The thrill is gone. The racialist policies just don't work anymore. People are tired of hearing sermons from former presidents with mansions and First Ladies who sent their kids to expensive private schools.
We saw on Election Day the end of Obama as a candidate. His "emerging majority" did not emerge, as David Weigel pointed out:

Mark Fisher, one of the co-founders of a Black Lives Matter (BLM) chapter in Rhode Island, told the New York Post this week that he is voting for former President Donald Trump.
“I definitely will not be supporting Kamala Harris,” Fisher said in the interview. “If she ever got anywhere close to power, it would be a disaster for this country.”

The industrial and farming heartland was revived. 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs were created.
