Mark Fisher, one of the co-founders of a Black Lives Matter (BLM) chapter in Rhode Island, told the New York Post this week that he is voting for former President Donald Trump. “I definitely will not be supporting Kamala Harris,” Fisher said in the interview. “If she ever got anywhere close to power, it would be a disaster for this country.” Fisher added that it’s the “definition of insanity” that black people continue to support the Democratic Party. Fisher explained that he regrets voting for Biden in the 2020 election. “We’ve just been blindly loyal to the Democratic Party for no reason,” he explained.

While I applaud the BLM co-founder's change of vote, I wonder--has he paid for the damages he and his cohorts caused last time around? By the way, I'm sure suggesting a BLM co-founder caused violence and destruction is racisssssssst. Personally, I don't give a flying flip!

It is a mystery that somehow government of this country seems to continue to function. Certainly those presumed to be democrat “leaders”, including president and VP, and people like Chuck, are not in charge. Nor are most of the republican leadership. Who is? We must assume faceless people behind a curtain. It is refreshing that D.J. Trump is willing to take credit for his efforts, although he is criticized as an egotist for doing so.

That's quite a turnaround. From the two bwitches touting "we're trained Marxists" at first to now a BLM leader voting for Trump. I may get whiplash in my neck from that hard a swerve in direction.

If I was in charge of anything, I'm not sure I would want someone of his caliber and history to be in my club. $90 million. Where did it go except for the Florida mansions?

They gathered together for their Kamala Harris victory party at Howard University in Washington. And when victory didn't happen, she abandoned them. She has yet to make a statement for them, thanking them for their hard work, encouraging them to keep up the good fight, or telling them wait'll next time.

Even when interviewers agree to not talk shop, Kamala Harris still can’t handle a normal conversation. Kareem Rahma is an Egyptian immigrant who hosts a popular “internet talk show” which features a variety of guests, ranging from unknown artists to the occasional celebrity, on the New York subway system. As a profile of Rahma published at The New York Times yesterday describes the venture: The premise of ‘Subway Takes’ is simple. Rahma, wearing a signature, oversized suit and sporty sunglasses, rides the train with a guest who offers, and then must defend, an unusual or provocative viewpoint.

The key factors to evaluate anyone running for political office are the record, the current pledges, claims by adversaries, the motivation for running, the campaign, and above all the individual. We first begin with President Trump. The economic boom under Trump led to historic growth and record-low unemployment across demographics. America gained seven million new jobs causing the unemployment rate to be 3.5%, the lowest in a half-century. Inflation and the price of fuel were under control. For the first time in nearly 70 years, America become a net energy exporter. The industrial and farming heartland was revived. 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs were created.

...and she has helpers. When asked the first thing she would do should she become president, she said she would lower prices. Really? How? I’m guessing a magic wand might be the answer. Or maybe an army of authoritative price tag–changers going through all the stores. Now then, who would be the fascist? Higher prices for much of the stuff we consume are not arbitrary. “Price-gouging” can’t happen when the consumer has multiple options for what he buys and from whom. There is, however, an occasional practice known as “opportunity pricing” when something is in great demand but with limited sources.

Dick Cheney did it. Arnold Schwarzenegger did it. Adam Kinzinger did it, of course. So did Jeff Flake. Mike Pence walked right up to the edge but ultimately declined to take the plunge, but even George W. Bush’s daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, and Dick Cheney’s notorious daughter Liz (that is, former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Jan. 6) jumped right in. And now Liz Cheney is calling upon the biggest prize of all, former President George W. Bush, to join the party for the uniparty and endorse Kamala Harris for president. Fox News reported late Friday night that Liz made her plea on The New Yorker Radio Hour,

The short answer to that question comes from George Orwell: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” Packed into that pithy aphorism is the explanation of the bitter struggle centering on the person of President Donald J. Trump. The dirty little secret of American history is that a largely left-leaning establishment has dominated our politics since 1932 and thereby framed our understanding of the past and goals for the future. Only two Republican presidents have held temporary majorities in both houses of Congress since then: Dwight D. Eisenhower and George W. Bush. Neither made a dent in the establishment’s control.

Bob Woodward, a past master at the art of marketing bestsellers by reflecting the Democrat zeitgeist, tries his best in his latest offering, War, to put a good face on Biden-Harris incompetence in the Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel conflicts. Although Donald Trump was not a government actor during these events, War inserts vignettes purporting, unsuccessfully, to contrast Trump’s unfitness with Biden’s putative steadiness. Woodward tries but fails to claim that it is Trump’s alleged instability that threatens our fragile world, and not the ineptitude of the senile, perpetually unintelligent Biden. But to his great credit, the dogged reporter in Woodward overcomes the mediocre polemicist.

Kama-lama-ding-dong’s got the blues. This was supposed to be her time. This was supposed to be her rise. She was supposed to make her-story. Instead, Kam-Kam’s on her way to an Election Night drubbing, a week-long bender, and a few months of solitude in celebrity rehab. She should take Hillary Clinton along, too. A period of detox and sobriety could do both some good. And the American people would benefit from their prolonged absence from television news. America will one day have a female president. She will be smart, articulate, prudent, and brave.

I’ve long found it peculiar that, way back in the 1990s, Tim Walz was taking the lead in promoting the new “Gay-Straight Alliance” club at the school where he worked. Usually, that’s something an openly gay teacher would do. However, when it’s an ostensibly straight teacher, my radar pings. But my pinging radar means nothing. What may also mean nothing is that two citizen journalists are alleging that they’ve found young men speaking anonymously about the fact that Walz groomed them while they were under his aegis in high school.

In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, as they were waiting for the election workers in the so-called “blue wall” to tell them what they already knew, CNN’s Van Jones blamed sexism and racism for why Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President-elect Trump. “I am thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody's elite, who are hurting tonight,” he bloviated. Speaking as though he was delivering a sermon, Jones opined about how this election supposedly told black women that America rejected them, how they hoped Harris would essentially liberate them, and lamented how their hard work didn’t pay off:

Today is a day of despair, and it would be futile to tell those who fear and grieve for what is to come in America that they will be OK. It would also be dishonest: many of us, in truth, will not be OK. Donald Trump has decisively won the American election. He and his Republican allies have promised mass deportations that will ruin lives and sunder families; they have threatened to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and appoint the anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist Robert F Kennedy Jr to a position of authority on public health. They have pledged vast cuts to social security and Medicare, .

Vice President Kamala Harris can still become the first female President of the United States of America — but only if President Joe Biden resigns. Harris lost decisively to former President Donald Trump — now president-elect Trump — on Tuesday, dashing hopes that a woman would finally break through the “glass ceiling” and reach the Oval Office. But she still can — if Biden follows through on a promise to be a “transitional” candidate, and steps aside for Harris. If he does not, Biden will have consigned Harris to the ignominious task of presiding over the Senate during the certification of Donald Trump’s victory over her on January 6.
