A federal judge has struck down a Biden administration program for illegal aliens who are married to US citizens. In a three-paragraph decision, Federal District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas J. Campbell Barker (a Trump appointee, and yes, that does make a difference) ruled that the program the administration rolled out in June 2024 "lack statuary authority under 8 U. S. C. § 11821(d)(5)(A) itself (as opposed to under other provisions modifying or supplementing that authority) to grant parole "in place" to aliens" under the benign-sounding "Keeping Families Together" program.
The "Keeping Families Program" was challenged by Texas and a coalition of 15 other states soon after its announcement,

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris lost running mate Tim Walz’s home county in rural Minnesota to Donald Trump, a defeat that will intensify criticism of her decision to run alongside Minnesota’s progressive governor.
Trump won Minnesota’s Blue Earth County 49.6 percent to 48.3 percent, a 5.7 percent shift rightward from four years ago, despite Walz having lived there for two decades and launching his political career in the area.
Overall, Harris won Minnesota 51.1 percent to 46.8 percent, an underwhelming performance in a state that gave President Joe Biden 52.4 percent of the vote four years ago compared to Trump’s 45.3 percent. By the time Minnesota was called

Multiple outlets are reporting that anti-Israel mobs are chasing down Israelis and savagely beating them on the streets of Amsterdam Thursday following a soccer game between Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and Amsterdam's Ajax.
As of this writing, dozens of extremely disturbing videos are being posted to X depicting violent beatings as individuals are surrounded and then pummeled.
It’s ugly:
Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, gave an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital on Thursday night.
"We are seeing a pogrom against Jews and Israelis unfold in Amsterdam," Danon said. "In 2024. This must stop. ‘Globalize the intifada’ was not just a slogan

Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin has told President-elect Donald Trump he will serve out the rest of his term as governor and will not take a role in Trump’s administration, the Virginia outlet 12 On Your Side WWBT Richmond reported Thursday afternoon. In the interview, the Republican governor did not rule out serving in the administration after his term ends in January 2026.
“We’ve been working closely over the course of this entire campaign, and I am so excited that his hard work paid off, and he knows that I am committed and will continue to serve as governor through my full term, and that is so important,”

Employees of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are reportedly terrified that there will be a "bloodbath" of layoffs once President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated.
Which is odd, since our friends in the mainstream media have previously indicated the term "bloodbath" is a secret siren call for violence.
Kerry Picket of the Washington Times spoke to several inside sources who claim top officials at the bureau are “stunned” and “shellshocked” at the overwhelming victory for Trump in Tuesday's election.
Trump didn't just win -- he received an overwhelming mandate from the American people, along with solid Republican control of the Senate and very likely retaining control of the House.

The historic election of Donald J. Trump to his second term rests at the feet of a generation of unsung heroes. Data shows that if you want to thank someone today for pulling America back from the brink of more Democrat malfeasance, you should thank a GenXer. I am a proud GenXer. I grew up running wild until the street lights came on, unsupervised, unchained, independent, and free. When I was seven years old, I would go get my four-year-old neighbor, and we would walk two blocks up and across a busy street to the White Hen to buy candy before heading to the park,

The White House plans to rush billions of dollars in security assistance to Ukraine before President Joe Biden leaves office in January, sources said on Wednesday, hoping to shore up the government in Kyiv before President-elect Donald Trump's Jan. 20 inauguration.
"The administration plans to push forward ... to put Ukraine in the strongest position possible" a senior administration official said on condition of anonymity, before its term ends in January.
Trump has been critical of Biden's assistance for Ukraine, fueling concern about the future of support for President Volodomyr Zelenskiy's government under a Republican-controlled White House, Senate and possibly the House of Representatives.

Two Congressional Democrats have slammed the Democrat Party's views on transgender athletes in the wake of Kamala Harris' election loss to Donald Trump.
Trump has repeatedly made what he calls 'transgender insanity' a key plank of his platform on the trail, having said he would ban trans athletes in girls' sports.
Congressman Seth Moulton, a Massachusetts representative who ran unopposed to retain his seat, and Tom Suozzi, who won and then kept George Santos' Long Island seat, are both speaking out.
Moulton, who was also heavily critical of former mentor Joe Biden, said that the Democrats 'spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather

California governor Gavin Newsom called for state lawmakers to assemble a special session on Thursday to prepare to defend the state’s progressive government from anticipated legal challenges brought by the second Trump administration
The second-term governor urged the state legislature to allocate additional funding to the attorney general to defend against federal challenges to California policies on everything from climate regulation to immigration law.
“The freedoms we hold dear in California are under attack — and we won’t sit idle,” Newsom said in a statement.
“California has faced this challenge before, and we know how to respond.

President Joe Biden addressed the nation Thursday on President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding electoral victory and urged Americans to unify and “lower the temperature” after a divisive and intense presidential campaign.
Biden gave brief remarks from the White House and praised the American experiment of democratically electing leaders in a peaceful, orderly fashion.
“Yesterday, I spoke with President-elect Trump to congratulate him on his victory and I assured him that I would direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition,” Biden said.

HOUSTON — Just 10 days ago, Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a roaring rally for 30,000 Houstonians, featuring Democratic Senate candidate Colin Allred and superstars like Beyoncé and Willie Nelson. The event created a veneer of enthusiasm and hope for strong turnout in the blue bastion. On Tuesday, Democrats were left wondering what went wrong.
As it turns out, turnout was the lowest Harris County has seen in more than 20 years — just 58% — 10 points lower than the last presidential election in 2020. With a dearth of Democratic motivation, Republicans gained ground.
