On Tuesday night, an NBC panel began discussing whether the Democratic Party was right to push President Joe Biden aside in favor of his vice president, Kamala Harris.
"Jen, has the conversation begun yet about Joe Biden and about the decision to ask him to step aside?" Lester Holt asked former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
"It will begin,” she said. “It will begin depending on the outcome. And obviously, there hasn’t been a race called yet. If this is not a Harris win, that will certainly be part of the discussion. She’s run a campaign over the course of 107 days. That is not something we’ve seen in history,

Democrats should have acted much sooner and maybe do the unthinkable, let their voters decide.

What Democratic genius decided that anointing an unlikeable and incoherent leftist without a vote was a winning election strategy? Let the finger pointing begin.

I wonder if Biden would have had more than 81 MILLION “votes” if he had run. They sure didn’t show up for camela!

They can debate and lament about the political strategy of it all they want to, but the bottom line is that Biden would not have made it through the campaign.

These states enacted the National Popular vote law; CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MD, MA, ME, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, VA, WA. All the electoral college votes automatically go to the national vote winner. Trump kicked so much butt that I bet these states and districts opt out of that silly law in the future.

Biteme may think he could have beaten Trump, but Biteme also thinks he's the president. The media is calling this election a landslide. I don't see it that way. I see that an awful lot of voters who are more interested in anti-American policies than making America great and returning it to the great nation it once was.

I honestly believe that Joe Biden could have won the election if he had picked a vice president other than Kamala. Voters would have realized that they be voting for the VP, not Biden.

After that first debate, the Dems could read the tea leaves and were in a panic to get someone else. No, they would not have done better if Joe had been asked to campaign for 5 months and maybe have another debate.

So is the question, "Should the dems have left a senile old man in a position to run the country for another 4 years?".
Does that question make anyone else cringe? Why is a discussion needed?
A better question would be, "Why didn't dem leadership, who KNEW Biden was senile and lied about it, PREVENT Biden from running in 2024?". Then they could have had an elected, better qualified candidate instead of a selected Kackling Kamala.
Of course, "better qualified" is a matter of degree. The dem bullpen seems a bit shallow.

#10, If this is true, I bet the legislatures in those states rush back in to session to revoke that. Unless the voters have to do it.... This will get verrrry interesting.

Two separate decisions.
1. Should we push Joe aside?
2. Who should replace him?
The Dems did not think this one through. They made a kneejerk decision based upon the debate against Trump.
