Do you believe in miracles?
Throughout history, inexplicable events have occurred yet naysayers refuse to name them miracles preferring to call them a lucky coincidence. In 1980, however, when the young USA team won the Olympic winter game against the behemoth Russian team and then went on to win the gold, it was called, "the miracle on ice".
The following year, a movie by that name debuted and another one opened in 2004 about the same "miracle. I wouldn't call this event a miracle which was the result of hard work but I'll bet some of the players followed the rule of getting a ‘miracle'. What was it, you may ask?

I truly believe our nation is on the cusp of her Third Great Awakening. We were founded by a Godly people, we will only be saved when we turn our faces back to God. We need to fill our churches once again. Public prayer is important. Invite your "unchurched" family and friends to join you at your services, even if they have declined before they may be more receptive in today's environment. Perhaps start by sharing Scripture with them in your home. Let us Make America Godly Again!

Not claiming to be a particularly spiritually religious or spiritual person, this rings true. The miracle of life itself is inexplicable without faith.

And we witnessed a Miracle on July 13th with our own eyes in Butler, PA. And Trump will vouch for it. So, you see, Miracles do happen and another one will happen two weeks from today.

Are we willing, as a country to turn to God? Pray and ask forgiveness for our country’s sins.

Wonderful article. Every word is true. I will take her advice and will say the Rosary. Also, giving alms makes prayers even stronger. A sandwich, a dollar, patience in traffic.

I'm always reminded of the Bible story of Daniel and the iron's den...he was cast into the den to be killed and God sent a message to the lions to spare him...so the next day when the door was opened...he walked out unscathed...an Act of God....the story of the miracle on ice is very touching...but I'm a believer myself...God sparing President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania with his turn of his head at just the right time was a miracle too......

We also have to be persistent in prayer; keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking (ASK) I've been praying for my country for several years now to the point where some mornings I want to say "LORD, remember yesterday's prayer? Well....ditto for today". But I know that our prayers are not only heard but our LORD listens to each one. They truly do have impact and I'm also confident they will soon be answered the way we would like them to be. So stay encouraged and keep on praying ~ even if you have days when you may not feel like it.

Besides praying, don't forget to read the bible. Right now I'm reading the Book of Acts and loving it. The greatest conversion in the history of the world is Saul to Paul, who was stopped on his way from murdering Christians from a light from heaven and Jesus speaking to him. What a story of redemption! The Book of Acts is so exciting I can hardly stop reading it over and over. I encourage others to read about this account of the early church and what was happening.

#12 I signed up for substack but can't for the life of me figure out how it works. Sily me but I'm really not that great at selling myself. But I am always open to suggestions.

Alicia, no worries. As you know, you are well-sold here on L.Com. Meanwhile, I don't even know myself how to post articles from Substack that I think would be interesting to L.Dotters. Still learning if any tips of advice.
