I had not thought about pagers much (or at all) until the Hezbollah pagers blew up recently. [Snip] Anyway, that whole thing that happened in Lebanon with the pagers and walkie-talkies should be a wake-up call to our readership and listeners that we need a Plan B. Our grid could go down, and our systems could go down, which is why I’m thinking about pagers. However, we still need to rely on the pager company. As for satellite phones, the problem is they’re very expensive. So, my parting shot is that we should not kid ourselves, we are at risk also.

It’s a shame what’s going on in Springfield, Ohio. [Snip] They’re eating dogs. They’re eating cats. [Snip] It’s been thoroughly debunked, but since when does truth matter when you have the backing of the triumvirate of political treachery: Trump, his running mate and Ohio’s Republican senator, J.D. Vance, and Republican Bernie Moreno, who is trying to unseat Ohio’s other senator, Democrat Sherrod Brown. [Snip] In MAGA-land, focusing targets on brown-skinned immigrants can be a dangerous game. [Snip] All because of a politically advantageous lie, promoted largely by a man out on bond.

What scandalizes and fills us with horror is not as much the series of monomaniacal provocations of Bergoglio, who has now proven his rebellious and apostatic nature, so much as the cowardice of the entire Episcopate.
I do not understand how a Successor of the Apostles can tolerate the open apostasy from the Faith of the one who presents himself as the head of the Church, as if it were the ravings of a deranged person... [Snip]. I consider with horror what Our Lord will impute to them when they will present themselves before Him and have to account for their silence before the systematic destruction of the Church.

“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) Bergoglio, with his ungodly statements addressed to young people in Singapore that “all religions are a path to God,” offends the Majesty of God, betrays Divine Revelation, tramples on the principal Mysteries of our Faith and nullifies the redeeming Sacrifice of the Son of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ. His lying words are particularly insidious because they are addressed to the new generations, whom Bergoglio deceives into believing that it is possible to be saved without recognizing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Only Savior,

It is not surprising that there was a surge of punditry opinions arguing that Kamala Harris won the September 10 debate with Donald Trump. [Snip] Many conservative analysts have joined in and agreed that Trump lost the debate. From the standpoint of debate practice, Trump performed one of his most successful debates and arguably won the debate. [Snip] The debate format is unusual because each candidate had an option to make a one-minute rebuttal at any point during the debate. Trump used this option masterfully to have the last word on most of the major controversies in the debate.

The Kabuki-worthy facial expressions modeled by Kamala Harris during Tuesday’s presidential debate had many viewers alternately perplexed and rolling in the aisles as the Democratic nominee sought to steal ABC News’ split screen from former President Donald Trump. Now former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has revealed Kamala Harris received acting lessons ahead of the debate and was coached by Hollywood advisers. Kamala’s goal? To “act her way through this election,” she said. “That’s why she has locked herself in a hotel room, taking extreme acting lessons,” Gabbard said in a Fox News interview just ahead of Tuesday’s debate.

Yes, they discussed policy. Sort of. But former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris also had plenty to say about each other during their debate Tuesday night. The presidential debate didn’t generate an immortal line--think Lloyd Bentsen to Dan Quayle in 1988: “Senator, you are no Jack Kennedy”--though Trump did echo Ronald Reagan’s dismissive reply to Jimmy Carter in 1980, “There you go again.”
Still, the first meeting between the Republican and Democratic candidates did have its spicy and blunt moments.

A recording of a police phone call obtained by The Federalist reveals a local resident reporting a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese in Springfield, Ohio two weeks ago. “I’m sitting here, I’m riding on the trail, I’m going to my orientation for my job today, and I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of ’em, they all had geese in their hand,” the caller tells the public services dispatcher in the audio recording of the call. [Snip] ... at an intersection between Water and Warder Street, a location that does exist in Springfield and is confirmed in the police report...

Liberals have hit out at Donald Trump after he vowed to prosecute election 'cheaters' if he wins in November. The former president threatened to target, 'lawyers, political operatives, donors, illegal voters and corrupt election officials' in a rant on Truth Social. [Snip] 'I together with many Attorneys and Legal Scholars, am watching the Sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely because I know, better than most, the rampant Cheating and Skullduggery that has taken place by the Democrats in the 2020 Presidential Election. It was a Disgrace to our Nation!' Trump wrote on Saturday.

On Wednesday night, former President Donald Trump joined Fox News host Sean Hannity for a town hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. [Snip] One woman asked Trump, “What could you share that you’ve learned from your first time being in the Oval Office for those who are hesitant to vote for you now?” [Snip] Yet, despite the Democrats’ nine-year campaign to destroy him, Trump is still standing. His eyes are wide open. [Snip] And I know the good ones, the bad ones, the weak ones, the smart ones, the dumb ones. I know ’em all now.”

Prince Harry is reported to have told friends that he feels like a "spare" in the United States. Pals of the Duke of Sussex have reportedly said he feels that he has lost his way and even feels overshadowed by his wife, Meghan Markle, in public. [Snip] They added: "The Colombia trip also really highlighted how Meghan is comfortable stepping into the spotlight, while Harry cuts a very sulky, unhappy figure in the background." The unnamed source claimed Harry wants to find a way back to royal life in Britain and is seeking the advice of old pals and associates.

A staggering 6,000 Gazans infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre, nearly double the previously estimated amount, according to a new probe by the Gaza Division that was submitted to IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi and published on Saturday on the N12 News site. [Snip] Of the 6,000 Gazans who crossed into Israel, some 3,800 were identified as Nukhba terrorists--members of Hamas’s elite forces. [Snip] The probe also revealed that 2,200 Gazans, including both terrorists and looters, participated in the attack, further escalating the chaos and violence that marked the day.
