Trump Reveals the Biggest Lesson Learned

On Wednesday night, former President Donald Trump joined Fox News host Sean Hannity for a town hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. [Snip] One woman asked Trump, “What could you share that you’ve learned from your first time being in the Oval Office for those who are hesitant to vote for you now?” [Snip] Yet, despite the Democrats’ nine-year campaign to destroy him, Trump is still standing. His eyes are wide open. [Snip] And I know the good ones, the bad ones, the weak ones, the smart ones, the dumb ones. I know ’em all now.”

That was then and still is today my number 1 complaint about Trump as president. He appointed people who should never have been appointed. I chalked it up to being a poor judge of character. He eventually got most of the staffing right. Actually, that was my only real complaint with the Trump administration. Trump turned out to be a much much better president than I expected. Imagine had the GOP had his back the first two years.

From what I've read, there are already groups who are working to derail Trump's presidency. I can only imagine the chicanery they'll be up to between November 5 and January 20.

The DC cesspool is about image. Someone said, "If you can fake sincerity, you've got it made." The career swampers have this down to a science. Add some educational credentials, and there's no limit how far you can go. Trump was a neophyte when he got there. Not now.

Here's a tip: never trust ANY democrat. Never trust any Republican that has served more than one term in elective office. Never trust ANY appointed bureaucrat, unless you yourself appointed them. And in that case: watch them like a hawk, dump them at the first sign of disloyalty or incompetence. If you want a friend in D.C., get a dog. That's what Turniphead had to do.

Disrupting communications is a military strategy that has been deployed during wars throughout history. It’s also what the federal government has done to rural Americans as part of its war on Elon Musk, a tech billionaire whose support of free speech has put him at odds with the Biden administration and other powerful Democrats. The decision to cut rural Americans off from broadband communications had already been strongly criticized as harmful, politically motivated, and completely without merit even before Category 4 Hurricane Helene wrought destruction last week in some of the most remote areas of Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

With the United States facing arguably the “most important election since our Nation was founded,” more than 200 retired generals and admirals are endorsing former President Donald Trump for president. In a letter published Monday morning, Flag Officers 4 America issues a stinging indictment of the failed policies of President Joe Biden and his cackling vice president, Kamala Harris, the Democrats replacement standard bearer following the party’s silent coup in July. The endorsement is also a counter shot at the recent letter from Trump-hating former national security officials endorsing Harris. As the death toll and devastation from Hurricane Helene soars in the southeast, both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are being briefed by officials on Monday, as the destructive storm is smack in the middle of the White House race with just over five weeks until Election Day. [Snip] "I've come to Valdosta with large semi-trucks, many of them, filled with relief aid. A tanker truck filled up with gasoline, a couple of big tanker trucks filled up with gasoline, which they can't get now. And we'll be working to distribute it throughout the day," Trump highlighted.

Vice President Kamala Harris is fond of saying that Donald Trump is only in it for himself, not the American people. Well, this weekend we saw, in a picture-perfect example of psychological projection, Harris throwing a small business under the bus for her own supposed political gain. [Snip] But Trump's running mate graciously forgave the snub, while greeting fans in the parking lot, paying for the crowd's meals with a generous tip. The store released a statement saying he was welcome and that their employee had just been surprised by the cameras.

They cannot afford now to not finish the job and completely dismantle the arsenal that has been aimed at them. Judges on a New York appeals court appeared open-minded and receptive to the possibility of reversing or reducing the $454 million civil fraud judgment in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit against former President Trump. Trump appealed the civil fraud ruling that demanded he pay more than $450 million. The former president’s attorneys called New York Judge Arthur Engoron’s ruling "draconian, unlawful, and unconstitutional." But although there is no shame in looking out for one’s own interests, there is plenty of shame in it when you put the entire population and the nation at risk in the process, which is precisely what the International Longshoreman’s Association is doing,
