Four ways Trump can get to a 96% chance
of winning

The 2016 election hinged on 40,000 votes in key Midwest states. This time the margin of victory, or defeat, may be even more dramatic: 10,000 to 20,000 Pennsylvanians – or the student section at a Penn State football game. According to election guru Nate Silver, if former President Donald Trump wins the Keystone State, his chances of winning the White House are 96%. We know Trump’s strengths with men – and his weaknesses with women. Thus, the entire race could hinge on his ability to persuade several thousand women in Pennsylvania to turn his way. Easier said than done, as this election poses new challenges.

I'll add another way. Why aren't hearing aids covered under Medicare? How many seniors plus others have to shell out thousands and thousands of dollars. If women say abortion is a medical issue, so is hearing and a lot of seniors can't afford good hearing aids.

#2 That is a really good idea. Also most baby boomers now on Medicare still have their own teeth. In past generations older people had dentures, not so true now. I think that medicare should cover 2 dental cleanings a yr. As everyone knows one of the ways to stay healthy is through your teeth and gums.

Reckless rhetoric from Dems and media
to blame for second Trump assassination attempt

Donald Trump was targeted Sunday in a second apparent assassination attempt in as many months. An eagle-eyed Secret Service agent reportedly spotted the barrel of a gun in bushes a few hundred yards from where the former president was playing golf and shot at the would-be assassin, who was later arrested. It’s a frightening development that highlights the recklessness of the hateful rhetoric constantly aimed at Trump by his political opponents, even after he was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania in July. Last week, Kamala Harris falsely accused Trump of calling Nazis “fine people,” promising a “bloodbath,” and being responsible for “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”

Since I move between worlds and see how stories are covered differently by each side, I was shocked — or maybe not — to catch a few minutes of ABC News after the debate. They were selling extreme fear, extreme hysteria. The conclusion? A) Trump said the bad thing, B) his supporters obey his every command and now an army of armed Proud Boys Nazi Brown Shirts are going to Springfield to terrorize the Haitians. We hear “bomb threats” and “shooting threats” yet we never hear the follow-up. We never hear if there was any investigation. The reason? They don’t care if it’s true or not. It’s useful to

“You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.” That famous line from Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-N.Y.) remains a virtual mantra for politicians and pundits. Yet, judging from the presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, we have officially entered the post-truth political era. ABC News has been widely criticized for the bias of the two moderators Linsey Davis and David Muir. Even liberal outlets acknowledged that the two journalists seemed inclined to “fact check” only Trump. In the meantime, they allowed clearly false statements from Harris go unchallenged.

Three American citizens have been sentenced to death in Congo after being convicted on charges of participating in a coup attempt, with one telling a court that his father — who led the failed effort — "had threatened to kill us if we did not follow his orders." A lawyer representing 21-year-olds Marcel Malanga and Tyler Thompson Jr. and 36-year-old Benjamin Reuben Zalman-Polun, is now planning to appeal the verdict following the botched attack orchestrated by Malanga’s father, Christian Malanga, in May that targeted the presidential palace and a close ally of President Felix Tshisekedi

Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance is irked that a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the Biden-Harris border crisis and its impact on American families on Tuesday was largely ignored by the mainstream media. Many major news outlets ignored testimony from victims of crimes stemming from illegal immigration, including the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl found strangled to death in Texas in June by two Venezuelan illegal immigrants, according to authorities. "Kamala Harris' open border policies have taken countless American lives. The liberal media is doing all they can to cover it up, even ignoring the heartbreaking testimony
Stop lying about Afghanistan, Kamala —

Too often, lying and politics go hand in hand. But lying to cover up responsibility for the deaths of 13 brave Americans in Afghanistan is reprehensible and dishonors their memory. Kamala Harris is rewriting history and gaslighting the American public to shift blame from her administration’s failed policy in Afghanistan that created death and chaos and turned that country — and billions of dollars of US military assets — over to the Taliban. Their failure in Afghanistan led to the destruction of American credibility in the world — and led directly to Iran attacking our ally Israel and Russia invading our ally Ukraine in Europe.

“Come on.” That was Vice President Harris’ response to Donald Trump in the presidential debate when he pressed her for any gestational limit on abortion. Would she, he asked, “allow abortion in the eighth month, ninth month, seventh month?” “Come on,” and a smirk. That’s all she had. That’s because that is, in fact, all she and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz, have when actually forced to come up with any limits on abortion they would support. They oppose any and all protections for unborn babies and their mothers, including minors, and apparently, babies born alive from botched abortions.

Vice President Kamala Harris is being lauded for her debate performance against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday night, in sharp contrast with President Joe Biden back in June. The question now becomes whether Harris’s well-executed plan of irritating Trump and joining with the moderators and Trump himself to draw attention to his negatives was what the voters she most needs really wanted. Trump pollsters Tony Fabrizio and Travis Tunis say that, according to their data from the top seven battleground states, the answer is no. “We found that despite the best efforts of Kamala Harris and [the] media to portray the debate as

Time magazine was forced to correct its coverage of the ABC News Presidential Debate after implying former President Trump’s statement that Vice President Kamala Harris supported free gender transition treatment for detained migrants was "false." During the ABC News Presidential Debate Tuesday night, Trump remarked on Harris’ old position as one of many left-wing issues she appeared to have walked back on since running for president. "Now she wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens who are in prison," Trump said. Though Harris pledged she would support taxpayer-funded gender care for detained migrants in an ACLU candidate questionnaire during her first presidential campaign, TIME Magazine first reported the statement as "false."

Haile Selassie, Ethiopia's former emperor, was dethroned 50 years ago. The king, who befriended leaders in the US, Europe and China, left a mixed legacy in his home country. On September 12, 1974, Haile Selassie, Ethiopia's last monarch, met with a delegate from a newly formed military committee called the Derg at his palace in Addis Ababa. The meeting was the Derg's final step to overthrowing the imperial regime. Representatives of the delegate addressed Haile Selassie as "your Majesty" and "humbly begged" for him to move to a designated place for his health and security.
