Now we have word that, in her desperation to carry the anti-Semite vote in Michigan, Kamala Harris is floating the possibility of Keith Ellison as her Attorney General: It is hard to think of anyone less qualified to be Attorney General of the United States than Keith Ellison. Long-time member and partisan of the Nation of Islam, alleged domestic abuser, bystander at the Feeding Our Future scandal, scourge of law enforcement, and advocate for domestic terrorism and political violence: Scott has been writing about Ellison since Ellison entered public life in 2006. Long-time readers are well aware of our view

Steven Crowder published some undercover video Thursday which renews some old doubts about what really motivated Alvin Bragg's case against Donald Trump.
As you probably remember, Bragg used some creative legal work to turn a bunch of misdemeanor infractions involving business records into a host of felony charges. Now the DOJ Chief of Public Affairs for the southern district of New York, Nicholas Biase, is on video saying the whole case was "nonsense."
Kudos to Crowder for getting the video but also for saying right out of the gate that Biase is not the bad guy here. What we're getting is an unbiased take

Former President Donald Trump received an impassioned endorsement from Grammy Award-winning country music star Gretchen Wilson during a rally in Wisconsin on Saturday, with the singer excoriating the Democratic party for abandoning the American people.
Gretchen Wilson appeared alongside Trump during his rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin. Before she performed, she spoke about her humble upbringing in Illinois and her family, which supported Democrats.
“Back in the day my family were all Kennedy Democrats. But that’s when the Democrats were on the side of the people,” she said. “Once I started paying attention to what was really going on, I realized the Democratic Party left us.”

A manhunt is underway for at least one suspect after several people were shot Saturday near an interstate in a rural area of Laurel County, Kentucky, located south of Lexington, according to the sheriff’s office.
The active shooter situation occurred near Interstate 75, about nine miles north of the city of London, where “numerous persons have been shot,” said the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington said via social media the suspect “has not been caught at this time. We are urging people to stay inside.” Law enforcement will provide “as much information as it becomes available,” he added.

The New York Joint Terrorism Task Force of the FBI, working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), apprehended terror suspect Mohammed Khan for planning a terror attack in Brooklyn, New York City. FBI's undercover investigators communicated with Khan via encrypted message apps and learned that he planned a mass shooting at an undisclosed Jewish center in Brooklyn.
Khan planned the attack to take place on or near October 7, the anniversary of Hamas' brutal attack on mostly unarmed Israeli civilians, which resulted in an unknown number of rapes, roughly 1,200 deaths, and many hostages. Khan, 20, was arrested near Ormstown, Quebec, approximately 12 miles from the Canadian-American border.

Several years after Donald Trump called Kim Jong Un “Little Rocket Man,” Elton John has weighed in on his hit song being the inspiration for the North Korean dictator’s nickname.
“I laughed, I thought that was brilliant,” John told Variety‘s Ramin Setoodeh in an interview at Toronto Film Festival. “I just thought, ‘Good on you, Donald.’ … Donald’s always been a fan of mine, and he’s been to my concerts many, many times. So, I mean, I’ve always been friendly toward him, and I thank him for his support. When he did that, I just thought it was hilarious. It made me laugh.”

Just days after Joe Biden launched yet another attack against Benjamin Netanyahu, blaming the Israeli prime minister for a lack of a ceasefire deal in Gaza, Hamas made the president and his vice president look like fools again.
According to the most recent reporting, the latest of several possible agreements has fallen through. Is it because Israel refused to make vast concessions to a terrorist group? Once more, the answer is no. Instead, Yahya Sinwar, the political and military head of Hamas, has scuttled the deal with another last-second bait-and-switch. For nine months, Biden and Harris have claimed a ceasefire deal was just around the corner.

Legendary Silicon Valley investor Naval Ravikant told Megyn Kelly that the lawfare against former President Donald Trump caused him to get “off the sidelines,” adding, “The moment you can start weaponizing the law against your enemies” means “the beginning of the end” and a descent into “a complete banana republic.”
“It was the lawfare that kind of brought me off the sidelines. It’s really disgusting behavior, because this is how you descend into a complete banana republic with military coups and military rule,” Ravikant told Kelly on a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. Ravikant is the co-founder

Now that she is running for president in a political moment when victimhood is currency, Vice President Kamala Harris paints herself as being brought up on the “streets” — complete with fake accents as part of her bit.
However, unfortunately for that narrative, the politics editor at Breitbart News (me) happens to have grown up in the same neighborhood Harris lived in from when she was 12 to 18 and can report that calling herself “middle class” is definitely a stretch.
On Labor Day, Harris put on one of her myriad fake dialects to address a working-class crowd in Detroit, Michigan.
However, it is virtually impossible

CNN’s enthusiastic Senior Data Reporter Harry Enten said Friday that the presidential contest is historically tight and that the slightest shift in momentum could alter the outcome. Moreover, he added, if Donald Trump outperforms current polling by a mere point—which is certainly possible, if not likely, given recent presidential elections—he’ll be strolling into the Oval Office in January 2025.
Polls in 2016 and 2020 consistently—and famously—underestimated Trump’s support.
Enten pointed out that no race has been this tight in decades, a fact which has to be giving cause for the former president to smile while drawing mournful frowns from Team Kamala.

The Democrats' razor thin control of the Senate is not looking very solid at this point. The latest good news for Senate Republicans comes in the form of an AARP poll out of Montana which shows Republican candidate Tim Sheehy leading Democrat Jon Tester by 8 points.
Vulnerable Democratic Sen. Jon Tester trails his GOP opponent by 8 points in a new independent poll of Montana’s Senate race — a result that could very well tip control of the Senate to Republicans.
Republican Tim Sheehy took 49 percent of the vote, compared to Tester’s 41 percent,

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that people should judge for themselves if Russian President Vladimir Putin was teasing, trolling, or being entirely serious when he said he would prefer Kamala Harris as U.S. president over Donald Trump.
Putin expressed a preference for Harris while he was attending the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Thursday.
“I told you our favorite, if you can call it that, was the current President Mr. Biden. He was removed from the race, but he recommended all his supporters to support Ms. Harris. So we will do the same. We will support her,” Putin said.
