Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down in her first interview since ascending to the top of the Democratic presidential ticket that she would not ban fracking if elected, claiming she made "clear" where she stood on fracking during the 2020 election.
"No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking," Harris said.
Before Harris dropped her bid for president in 2019 and joined President Biden’s ticket, she said in a CNN town hall "there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking"

That ministry of truth was supposed to have memory holed that information long ago.

It used to be called 'talking out of the side of your mouth. It is a reassurance to her Marxist followers that she hasn't really changed her mind, only that she has to lie now to get elected. Wink!

As a 40-yr veteran of the upstream oil business, let me be perfectly clear: fracking is the only reason America is in its current state of economic health.
Without it, domestic oil production will collapse, and America will be wholly dependent on imports.
Pick one, but choose wisely.

She is lying to get votes. Pure and simple. I am not a "journalist" and do not pretend to be one. However, has Bash never heard of a follow up question? Such as. Then how do you explain this (show her video of her stating original beliefs on any given subject and read quotes of her own words), and why did you change your mind? It's really not that hard. And the jobs created numbers are a big lie. Jobs coming back after we were released from solitary confinement are not newly created jobs. She is an airhead. Just because she spoke words after every question does not mean she answered the question at all let alone truthfully. She LIED about FJB and his fried brain until the very end for YEARS. That should disqualify her right there.

It is as if Kamala doesn't know that video recordings and voice recordings actually exist. Harris does understand that the internet is forever and once she says something, it is broadcast and saved around the world for use at the most opportune time?

To explain fracking:
Today's oil reservoirs are very impermeable, and range in thickness from 50 to 200'.
Most of the ones targeted today exist at depths of 8,000' to 12,000'...thin target, great depth.
Freshwater sources are never found deeper than about 2000'...all the formation water deeper than that is way too salty to drink.
To aid the oil to drain into wellbores. fracking is used to create the needed cracks.
The kicker is that fracking is very expensive...and no company will spend more than it absolutely must to create the needed cracks.
Creating cracks that extend beyond the 200' reservoir is wasted money...so companies have an immense financial incentive to limit the size fracks they pump.
No commercial enterprise will ever spend the money to frack an oil reservoir at 10,000' with a stimulation that will contact the far more shallow, freshwater reservoirs.
Unless they have a desire to lose money.

The Left loves to throw around the term 'fracking'. It sounds kind of mean, violent, like breaking or cracking Gaia. How teasing, or coaxing? You know, the oil is playing hard to get, so we have to coax it out of the ground. Yes, I know it's the legitimate industry term. But to the Left it's all about perceptions.

The 1970s science fiction TV series Battlestar Galactica was remade for TV several years later.
In the remake, the writers got around the issue of using the f-word for cursing on TV by changing it to "frack".
I believe her when she says she will not ban fracking.
She adores fracking and plans to frack all of us.
