London Mayor Sadiq Khan has waded into American politics once again, saying that he is worried about his safety if Donald Trump returns to the White House and that the left-wing Labour Party should openly support the campaign of Kamala Harris.
The far-left Mayor of London, who has a long history of public verbal spats with former President Donald Trump, said in an interview with the globalist New Statesman this week that he has personal fears of the Republican nominee being victorious in the presidential election in November.

A massive new statue has been unveiled in the United States, with the gargantuan construct not honoring a famous American or historical figure but rather a polytheistic group’s god with the head of a monkey.
The “Statue of Union” was inaugurated Aug. 18 at the Sri Ashtalakshmi Hindu Temple in Sugar Land, Texas.
It depicts the Hindu god Lord Hanuman, one of the religion’s countless deities. Hanuman, a god of strength, devotion and selfless service, is most often depicted with the head and tail of a monkey.
The monument stands exactly 89.7 feet tall, making it the third-tallest statue in the United States, according to the “Statue of Union” website.

For a moment on Tuesday, it was 2008 all over again at the Democratic National Convention.
“I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling fired up. I am feeling ready to go,” former president Barack Obama said to open his headlining speech, harking back to his 2008 campaign chant. “I am feeling hopeful, because this convention has always been pretty good to kids with funny names who believe in a country where anything is possible.”
There were the chants of “Yes, we can” and “Yes, she can.” There was the talk of “hope making a comeback,” a blatant effort by the Democrats to try to inject some of Obama’s 2008 magic

In a follow up to his nonsensical and false analysis from the previous evening, CNN’s Chris Wallace kicked off Night Two of the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday by boasting about Vice President Kamala Harris’s “love affair” with American voters.
Calling it “a very interesting thing,” Wallace touted how “Joe Biden dropped out of this race 30 days ago, and that is played very much to Kamala Harris's advantage.” According to him, that advantage meant, “She's had this kind of speed dating relationship with voters and so far, it's a love affair!”
Does her husband, Doug know?!
The analogy falls apart when one takes into consideration that even in speed dating,

Former First Lady Michelle Obama played the race card against former President Donald Trump in her speech to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Tuesday night, accusing him of opposing her and former President Barack Obama because of racism.
Gone was the speaker who told Democrats in 2016, “When they go low, we go high.” Instead, there was this, on behalf of Vice President Kamala Harris:We know folks are gonna do everything they can to distort her truth. My husband and I, sadly, know a little something about this. For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power try to make people fear us.

Bill Clinton joked that he didn't have many conventions left during his speech at the DNC Wednesday night, as many on social media said his voice and hands were shaky the entire time.
Clinton, 78, channeled some of the relief inside the Democratic National Convention hall Wednesday when he said a 'load's off our shoulders' while praising Kamala Harris and saluted President Joe Biden for dropping out.
However, many on social media noted with one of his remarks that Father Time may have finally caught up on the man from Hope, Arkansas.

For the past few days, rumors and reports have indicated that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics was going to downwardly revise their assessment of the number of jobs created from April 2023 to March 2024 “by up to 1 million. This means that all ‘beats’ recorded in the past year will have been misses and the US job market is in far worse shape than the admin[istration] would admit.”
The revision is out, and while it’s not quite a million, it’s still really darn high — 818,000 fewer jobs created in that yearlong period than were initially reported.

About a quarter of British households are so worried about their electricity bills they are considering spending next heating season without heat or hot water, a survey by Citizens Advice has suggested.
The concern follows plans by the national electricity market regulator to raise the cap on bills by another 9.2%, equal to 150 pounds or $195. The Citizens Advice report said the percentage of those worried about the affordability of their electricity was substantially higher among households with children, where the percentage was 31%, and low-income households, where 39% were worried about the coming heating season.

A recent hire at the nuclear security wing of the Department of Energy has previously called for disarmament policies – which reduce or eliminate nuclear weapons – arguing that advancing "queer theory" was essential to that agenda as well as important to America's national security. The Biden-Harris administration announced Sneha Nair had been appointed as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration in February 2024. Nair believes in eradicating purported "White supremacy" in the nuclear field as well as "queering nuclear weapons" as part of a diversity, equity and inclusion push she believes is essential for deterring threats to nuclear energy facilities in the U.S.

An eight-time Seattle felon allegedly carjacked and killed a beloved 80-year-old dog walker in broad daylight Tuesday before he fatally stabbed her precious pup. Jahmed Haynes, 48, is suspected of carjacking Ruth Dalton, 80, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Junior Way East and East Harrison Street in the Madison Valley neighborhood, 2.8 miles northeast of downtown Seattle, just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to Seattle police. SPD Deputy Chief Eric Barden says Haynes had gotten into the passenger side of Dalton’s blue Subaru SUV and attempted to push her out the driver’s door while at least two dogs were inside the vehicle.

A member of the Texas Democratic Delegation was robbed at gunpoint during the party's national convention, according to a report.
The victim, 25, was walking in downtown Chicago at 2am on Wednesday during the DNC when a black Range Rover pulled up alongside and armed men in ski masks got out.
The suspects are believed to have been involved in a string of robberies across the city, CWB Chicago reported. The attackers took the man's wallet and room keys, then crossed the street to rob someone else, the report states.
