Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey is emphatically urging Americans to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.
Friday morning — the morning after the finale of the Democrat’s convention, which ended with Harris delivering the 12th shortest acceptance speeches in modern history — Deep State figure James Comey let the country know that he was in his feels in the aftermath.
“Kamala Harris made me feel like it’s finally morning in America,” Comey said. “Everyone who cares about the rule of law and America’s indispensable role in the world should vote for Harris and Walz.”
“I will,” Comey vowed:

A woman who inherited $250,000 from her late grandmother has revealed how she quit her job, blew through the money and now lives in a rental home. Sarah Faith Jacobson, a 40-year-old corporate consultant in Texas, said after she received the large amount of money she had no idea what to do with it, and 'regrets' how she spent it. Her grandparents were successful Bay Area real-estate investors in the 1970s,

Bill Clinton joked that he didn't have many conventions left during his speech at the DNC Wednesday night, as many on social media said his voice and hands were shaky the entire time.
Clinton, 78, channeled some of the relief inside the Democratic National Convention hall Wednesday when he said a 'load's off our shoulders' while praising Kamala Harris and saluted President Joe Biden for dropping out.
However, many on social media noted with one of his remarks that Father Time may have finally caught up on the man from Hope, Arkansas.

Country legends The Chicks were heavily panned for an awkwardly off-key performance of the National Anthem at the Democrat National Convention.
The Nashville natives, who created a firestorm of controversy 20 years ago over criticism of George W. Bush and the Iraq War, were a highly-anticipated get for the DNC on its final night.
However, their performance of the Star-Spangled Banner was almost universally slammed, even by fans of the band formerly known as 'The Dixie Chicks' before dropping the d-word in 2020.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, washed-up talk show host Oprah Winfrey enthusiastically endorsed Kamala Harris at the DNC Convention in Chicago Wednesday night while trashing President Trump and other Republicans at the event.
Winfrey immediately opened her speech by outlandishly accusing Republicans of trying to scare voters, something Democrats, including Comrade Kamala, have been doing non-stop for decades. She also took a mean-spirited shot at Trump, calling him an impulsive liar and con artist.
“We are beyond ridiculous tweets and lies and foolery,” she bellowed.

Earlier today the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) revised the annual jobs report to remove 818,000 previously recorded jobs.
[…] “The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down its total tally of jobs created in the year through March by 818,000 as part of its preliminary annual benchmark review of payroll data. That suggests the economy added an average of 174,000 jobs per month during that time period — below the previous 242,000 estimate. On a monthly basis, that amounts to about 68,000 fewer jobs. It marks the largest downward revision since 2009.” (read more)

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday that he was suspending his campaign - with a twist.
Kennedy pushed supporters who live in 10 swing states to back Republican nominee Donald Trump, but said his name would remain on the ballots on traditional red or blue states.
'I would like everyone to know that I am not terminating my campaign, I am simply suspending it,' Kennedy said in Arizona on Friday. In long-winded remarks, Kennedy said he was withdrawing from the race in swing states because, 'I would likely hand the election over to the Democrats, with whom I disagree on the most existential issues.'

Cardinal Blase Cupich, the progressive Catholic Archbishop of Chicago, offered the invocation for the Democratic National Convention (DNC) Monday without ever mentioning Jesus Christ. (snip) In his anodyne address, Cardinal Cupich avoided abortion and all other relevant issues in the election to focus on niceness. Experts are sounding the alarm in the wake of college prices closing in on $100,000 per year when counting tuition, fees, room and board, books, and other living expenses.
“Among the schools appearing on The Princeton Review’s ‘The Best 389 Colleges’ list, eight institutions — including New York University, Tufts, Brown, Yale and Washington University in St. Louis — have a sticker price of more than $90,000 for the 2024-25 academic year,” CNBC reported. Those tuition prices could well cross into the $100,000 territory come 2026 so long as the adjustments average roughly 4 percent a year.

A member of the Texas Democratic Delegation was robbed at gunpoint during the party's national convention, according to a report.
The victim, 25, was walking in downtown Chicago at 2am on Wednesday during the DNC when a black Range Rover pulled up alongside and armed men in ski masks got out.
The suspects are believed to have been involved in a string of robberies across the city, CWB Chicago reported. The attackers took the man's wallet and room keys, then crossed the street to rob someone else, the report states.

The FBI is investigating an incident at a delegate buffet breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago where live maggots were thrown on the food.
"Multiple unknown female offenders are alleged to have entered a building...and began placing unknown objects onto tables containing food," the convention's information center said in a statement. "The offenders are believed to have then left the area. One victim was treated and released on-scene. Along with CPD, FBI-Chicago is assisting in the investigation."
No one claimed responsibility for what the FBI called an "attack." Got to watch those maggots, man. They can be vicious.
