Michigan Gov. Rather than blaming other people for "reading too much into the plan," just present the plan.

Could a Democrat be elected anywhere in the US today by asking people to "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."? What will millions of unvetted illegal immigrants do for our country? Why can't the House sue the Executive Branch for failure to execute the laws passed by previous Congresses? How can this Congress, or future Congresses, expect their encoded legislation to be executed or enforced by future executives? Why has not a single Governor brought such a suit to the courts? Would not every citizen have standing to expect the members of the Executive Branch to honor their oaths of office? Maybe ignoring the Constitution and established Law is what they mean by preserving Democracy. Mob rule is how Democrats passed Jim Crow laws that were enforced by the KKK.

US job growth during much of the past year was significantly weaker than initially estimated, according to new data released Wednesday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ preliminary annual benchmark review of employment data suggests that there were 818,000 fewer jobs in March of this year than were initially reported. Every year, the BLS conducts a revision to the data from its monthly survey of businesses’ payrolls, then benchmarks the March employment level to those measured by the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages program. The preliminary data marks the largest downward revision since 2009 and shows that the labor market

A financial analyst I follow on Twitter/X, Robert Sterling, says everyone should calm down about Kamala’s grocery price controls idea. It’s actually worse than you think. Here’s his expectation from his Twitter column: People need to stop overreacting about Kamala’s plan to reduce food inflation, as if it would lead to communism, mass starvation, and the end of America. I worked in M&A in the food industry. Here’s a step-by-step summary of what would actually happen: 1. The government announces that grocery retailers aren’t allowed to raise prices. 2. Grocery stores, which operate on 1-2% net margins, can’t survive if

Public works employees recently signed a new contract boosting their pay by nearly 30%, and the police department has a new deal increasing pay by about 20%. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has run out of disaster relief funding for the second year in a row before the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season has even arrived.
