PARIS — The president of the International Olympic Committee has reaffirmed that two boxers competing in the Olympics are women, and have lived and competed as such for their entire lives. Thomas Bach also criticized the boxing federation which suspended both women, and called online harassment of Algeria’s Imane Khelif and Chinese Taipei’s Lin Yu-ting “totally unacceptable.”
Khelif and Lin are at the center of a controversy that has enveloped these Olympics over the past few days, ever since Italian boxer Angela Carini abandoned her bout against Khelif just 46 seconds into their match.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she thinks President Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore during an interview with CBS News aired on Sunday.
"He was in a good place," she said about Biden. "Top of his game. Such a consequential president of the United States. A Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States."
"You've got Teddy Roosevelt up there -- and he's wonderful. I'm not saying take him down, but you can add Biden," Pelosi said. Pelosi also denied making any calls to force Biden from power: "He knows that I love him very much."

VILLEPINTE, France — Boxer Imane Khelif of Algeria clinched a medal at the Paris Olympics in an emotional fight Saturday that followed days of sharp scrutiny and online abuse as misconceptions about her gender exploded into a larger clash about identity in sports. Khelif defeated Anna Luca Hamori of Hungary 5:0 in the quarterfinals of the women’s 66-kilogram division. Khelif will win at least a bronze medal after she comfortably earned the second victory of her tumultuous second trip to the Olympics. Khelif faced outcry fueled by claims from the International Boxing Association, which has been banned from the Olympics

Second gentleman Doug Emhoff acknowledged on Saturday that he had an extramarital affair during his first marriage after the Daily Mail published a report alleging that he impregnated a nanny, CNN reported.
Emhoff admitted that he had an affair while married to his first wife, Kerstin, in a statement provided to CNN, though he did not specifically address who his mistress was. The Daily Mail story alleged that Emhoff was sleeping with a teacher at his then-young daughter’s school who also worked for the family as a nanny, and that the relationship allegedly resulted in a pregnancy.

The former president said in a Truth Social post the debate would be held in Pennsylvania on Sept. 4 and hosted by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
Harris has wanted Trump to stick to the scheduled Sept. 10 debate on ABC News which was originally slated to be a showdown between Trump and President Biden.
The ex-president had previously agreed to the ABC News debate. But following Harris’ ascension to Democratic nominee for president after Biden dropped out of the race,

Less than a year after Judicial Watch reported that the Taliban has established fake nonprofits to steal millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Afghanistan, a new investigation reveals that the terrorist group has also received hundreds of millions in development assistance from Uncle Sam because the State Department fails to properly vet award recipients. At least $239 million have likely filled the coffers of the extremists running the Islamic republic since the 2021 U.S. military withdraw, according to a report published this month by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). The money was disbursed by State Department

Olympic boxing sunk to a new low last week. An Algerian boxer with XY chromosomes – the ordinary definition of “male” – and commensurate male testosterone levels – beat up a woman in front of thousands of cheering spectators.
The woman who was beat up had to quit 46 seconds into the match, apparently with a broken nose. In tears, she said in her native Italian “not fair, not fair” and explained afterward that she’d “never been hit so hard in my life.”
The XY boxer was declared the winner. Yesterday, the XY boxer won again in a decision where all three judges favored the XY boxer in all three rounds

A group of Black men at a barbershop in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, voiced their skepticism on Kamala’s racial identity.
This comes as Harris has frequently identified as Indian-American throughout her political career and even during her campaign for vice president. (X's Videos) President Donald Trump recently took the stage at the National Association of Black Journalists conference, where he didn’t hold back on addressing questions surrounding Harris’s shifting racial identity.
During a heated exchange with ABC’s nasty and rude reporter Rachel Scott, Trump responded,

As we reported, former President Donald Trump agreed to a presidential debate on Fox, moderated by Bret Baier and Martha McCallum in Pennsylvania. After agreeing to go on CNN, this time, Trump set some terms of his own with Kamala Harris, specifying an audience--something that thQuite frankly, he's gracious to give them any debate at all, given the machinations they've pulled, shoving Joe Biden to the side. As Trump noted in his statement about the debate, what the Democrats did here is the "real threat to democracy."But now comes the response from Harris:

Democratic strategist James Carville said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that Vice President Kamala Harris was “not close” to beating former President Donald Trump in November.
Guest host Michael Steele said, “I want to touch on a little bit of the noise he made earlier this week, which I personally appreciated and wanted to make sure people understood what I thought of what you said, when you caution folks. All the exuberance and all the excitement we are seeing right now in the campaign is good, it’s healthy, it is important, particularly given the campaign for Joe Biden was. Your point is don’t let that exuberance cloud
