Bill Gates was at one point the 'brightest star' in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit but became a target for the late pedophile after their short-lived partnership collapsed, a new book claims.
Epstein had set his sights on Gates in 2010 when the Microsoft founder and fellow billionaire Warren Buffett launched The Giving Pledge, a charitable campaign under which they vowed to donate 99 percent of their wealth.
To Epstein, their charitable initiative was a potential new 'way to make money' and restore his public image, according to new biography, Billionaire, Nerd, Savior, King: Bill Gates and His Quest to Shape Our World.
It would allow Epstein to launder his reputation

This might be one of the more egregious recent examples of a deliberate effort by a social media site to put its thumb on the political scale favoring Democrats over Republicans. Facebook is admitting that labeling the iconic photo of a blood-streaked Trump raising his fist in defiance after the attempt on his life as "misinformation" as "an error."
“Yes, this was an error,” Dani Lever of Meta wrote on X. Her post was in response to Charlie Kirk's observation that Facebook was not allowing users to share the photo, the New York Post reported.
“This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the secret service

Bella Hadid has spoken out about her involvement in Adidas’ controversial Munich Olympics-themed ad that sparked outrage.
On Monday, the model and activist posted a message to her Instagram Story, expressing her “disappointment in the lack of sensitivity that went into this campaign.”
“I would never knowingly engage with any art or work that is linked to a horrific tragedy of any kind,” she wrote. Earlier this month, the brand unveiled an ad featuring Hadid holding a “coveted classic” sneaker from the ’70s to honor the 52nd anniversary of the Munich Olympics.

Three people have been arrested and two others are being sought for the ambush killing of Florida rapper Julio Foolio last month, officials said.
The 26-year-old victim, whose legal name was Charles Jones, died on 23 June after his vehicle came under a barrage of gunfire in a car park of a hotel in Tampa.
Hotel surveillance footage released by police shows the attackers dressed in black wearing masks as they take up their positions in the car park, opening fire with two semi-automatic rifles and one pistol.
The rapper was killed during a weekend of birthday events that he had previously announced on social media.

Venezuelan Dictator Nicolas Maduro was declared the "winner" of the presidential election by the nation's election council on Monday morning. That came after exit polls showed him losing by as much as 30 points. Reports of Maduro's armed thugs closing down polling sites and stealing ballot boxes were prevalent throughout the process, all but confirming that the election was indeed stolen. What happens next is clear. Maduro will strengthen his grip on power instead of stepping down peacefully. As the saying goes, you can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out. Want to see the dichotomy of the media on display? Consider how, over the course of 2024, there has been no shortage of energetic coverage of Donald Trump and his lawfare trials. Not just the courtroom antics either, as Trump’s mugshot was blasted across every broadcast for the better part of a week. For at least two of the indictments, we were granted live coverage of Trump commuting to the airport to fly to the destination of his court appearance.
Despite the hyperventilating coverage of the former president’s legal wranglings, other court cases involving the media are receiving scant attention; this is for obvious reasons.

Key West, Florida — In quirky Key West, Florida, it's not just tourists flocking to town, feral chickens have found their tropical paradise.
And Key West City Commissioner Clayton Lopez has got a beef. They're "everywhere," he says, with entire chicken families often seen crossing roads.
A resolution introduced by Lopez, which is now law, bans feeding chickens on public property.
"What I am looking to do is to try and address the health issues of humans, as well as the chickens," Lopez said.
The chickens can cause property damage and their droppings can spread disease. The chickens are sometimes run over by cars, and chicks can fall into storm drains.

It's been a week since Joe Biden left the presidential race, and he's barely been seen in public. After a fumbling Oval Office address on Thursday in which he failed to offer any explanation for his sudden departure, the president headed off to Camp David. That would be the same Camp David he hid out at before the debate performance that exposed his worsening mental and physical condition. In other words, his heading back to hunker down there is a pretty big sign of how bad off he is. Biden just suffered the most embarrassing moment of his career, clearly due to worsening health.

Democrats and their compliant media were trying to spread the narrative that former President Donald Trump was backing out of debates with Kamala Harris.
What the Trump team actually said was that because of all the machinations that the Democrats had put on with shoving Joe Biden to the side and then some trying to anoint Kamala Harris without even a primary vote for the position, it wasn't officially clear yet who the nominee of the party is, and that they shouldn't be wasting their time setting up anything until there was an official nominee. (X) That's not "backing out." But that shows the bias of the media once again.

A leader and co-founder of the powerful Sinaloa Cartel is in U.S. custody thanks to a stunning betrayal by one of the sons of imprisoned Mexican kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera, a source told CBS News.
The arrest of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada ended more than four decades of his leadership of the deadly criminal organization he founded with Guzmán Loera, who is serving a life sentence in a maximum security prison in Colorado after being convicted in 2019 of charges including drug trafficking, money laundering and weapons-related offenses. One of El Chapo's sons, Joaquín Guzmán López, 38, allegedly duped Zambada into boarding a plane on Thursday,

Like it or not, I believe Kamala will be the 47th president of the United States. No, I don't think the Mad Cackler can beat Trump, but I do believe President Shartshispants is going to resign before Inauguration Day, making Harris the 47th president and checking a ton of boxes for those who pray to the false god of DEI.
FACT-O-RAMA! The Democrats would likely install Harris as #47 just to p**s off those of us with Trump 45-47 swag.
Needless to say, I'm odds and ends when it comes to attacking Kamala Harridan. I've got a junk drawer full of reasons she's a troglodyte.
Kamala has a garbage, commie-rific platform
