LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA - Eighteen-year-olds Taliyah Crochet and Rylan Oncale are dead after an unlicensed, drunk, illegal immigrant, Axel Flores-Cordova, also 18, slammed into their car head-on at high speed. Flores-Cordova, a Honduran national, was reportedly found to have over six times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
As reported by WWLT-TV, Crochet and Oncale were driving with two other people in the car with them when Flores-Cordova crossed over the centerline of the highway in a Jeep at approximately 1:00 a.m. and collided with their vehicle.
According to KATC, Flores-Cordova wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was unharmed, however, both Oncale and Crochet were wearing their seatbelts.

From the article: Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) commented on the tragic accident in a post to X on Tuesday writing, "It’s just not right. Unspeakable grief. Two beautiful Louisiana American teenagers killed by a drunk driving illegal alien. Two more American families destroyed by Mayorkas and Biden. Becca and I are heartbroken for the kids and their family but I’m also enraged and I’m ready to see Mayorkas take that long walk."
“[Two] innocent teens in my district were killed by a Honduran national driving without a license at 7x the blood alcohol limit,” Republican House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said in a statement. “These are the tragic consequences of the Biden-Harris open border. Pray for the families of the young lives we lost. No parent should have to endure this.”
The mother of Crochet, Devin Dean, described the victims and her grief to reporters. She said, "It’s just so hard, these kids work so hard, so hard for 18-year-olds, they had such old souls… And now it’s all just gone, and I am having such a hard time grasping the fact that like it’s really just over. Like, they’re gone.”
She added, “I woke up this morning just infuriated, if my anger could’ve blown up this world it would’ve, because I was so angry, I just kept screaming.”
Flores-Cordova is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and has been placed on detainer by the Immigration and Naturalization Service in addition to the charges he faces.
To Clay Higgins and Steve Scalise: What are you going to do about it?

Sorry, I did not put in quotation marks. The question at the end "To Clay Higgins and Steve Scalise: What are you going to do about it?" is my question and NOT from the article. . .

Two more in the Mayorkas column.
I wouldn't sell him any life insurance at this point.

In a cop show ten years ago a chase between the police and a drunk driver from Central America ended with the drunk crossing the center lane and crashing headfirst into a family in the opposite late. As far as I remember, everyone in the other car was hospitalized in serious condition, while the Honduran, probably accustomed to driving drunk every day at home, who had not been wearing a seat belt, was falling on his face drunk, rubber band man, but not otherwise injured. The cops were about as angry as any I've ever seen. The reason why I remember seeing that cop show was that the bad guy's blood alcohol content was an unbelievable 0.61%, almost eight times the adult level of legal intoxication. I've read that a BAC of 0.40% can be fatal. In most states, any adult driver over 0.08% is considered intoxicated. An internet search a few years ago showed some Russian who had survived a BAC of over 1%. Good grief, Charlie Brown. That's drunk. That's schnockered. That's awash in tonsil paint. That's lit brighter than a harbor buoy light, world record material.

In this case the guy is underage so the legal limit of alcohol is 0.02 which makes his level was more like 0.13. Drunk but not schnockered. I'd say the lives were destroyed by Mayorkas and Harris, Biden was never in charge.

I won't write what I'm thinking right now... but it involves a rope, a tree, and a pickup truck.

I'm 81 years old, and in all my years, whenever I've read about a drunk involved in a accident, the drunk usually, not always, but usually, comes out unscathed. I've been told that it's because the drunk is flexible/pliant because of the drunkenness! I don't know if this is actually true.

#10,EtAl~ “There is no just God.” / Respectfully disagree. Satan and his fallen angels were cast out of heaven to earth; the world is “permeated with sin ... it’s a sinful world ... the devil is the prince of this world ... the Bible says, ‘bad things happen to good people.’” God does no evil; “He can cause and allow bad things to come to us, but always for our good ... but a lot more good happens to people who love God in Jesus (Psalms 90, 91) ... God can turn bad things into good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28) ... God punishes the wicked, punishing individuals and whole nations for evil ... Christians know that God punished Jesus in our place for our sins and that we are not punished ... God disciplines those whom He loves (Hebrews 12) ... God is Good and Gracious and Loving in giving us the Way, the Truth and the Life for our salvation, our Savior Jesus ... He works all things for our good.” People of faith must always turn to God “in His Word and prayer for answers, never away from Him. “Sometimes the answers He has are not evident right now, but later. It may even be in heaven that we see and understand His purposes.” ~~~ “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) God is love.

2 weeks ago wednesday, I was T boned by two illegals who then ran away. Totaled my car, they were able to drive theirs for about a mile before it broke down. Passersby who stopped to help me, my wife and grandson, hunted them down and had police go get them. Luckily, bumps and bruises and a bunch of smashed groceries were the extent of our injuries.
The hit and runner was not arrested, just ticketed for no license, running the stop sign and hit and run.
