It really does look good. We know he had the best plastic surgeon money could buy. I have three scars on my face from an accident back in the 1960's. All you can see is a bit of one, the other two are invisible. His ear looks great.

5.56mm ain't huge..what did you expect to see? I have 5.47mm(russian ak74) scars through both lower legs...through and through, nearly no expansion, fired from a similar distance, I was able to hike nearly 30 miles over rough ground and jungle to a friendly border over the next two days/nights. Hardly any scarring, small white dots at entry points, approx 1/2" slightly depressed divot at exit. Did it hurt? You BETCHA, but not as bad as I had assumed it would. After the initial couple of hours it was more like a calf cramp, charlie horse, that got worse if/when I stopped moving...eased off when back under way. Bleeding was easy to stop with a quick wrapping, stayed stopped until a medic reopened the wound channels to clean them...THAT hurt., but healed up enough I was barely limping after 2 weeks. 30years later? Left calf still gets cramps now and then, stretch it out walk it off. Rt leg, no issues.

war after terror group rocket kills 12

The Biden administration is extremely worried Hezbollah’s rocket attack on Golan Heights Saturday that killed at least 12 and wounded dozens of others could “trigger” a full-scale war between Israel and the Iran-backed terror group, according to a report. US officials are fretting that without a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas terrorists over the ongoing fighting in Gaza, a war between the Jewish state and Iran-backed Hezbollah is becoming more likely — which will fuel the regional crisis and drag the United States even further into the ongoing conflict, Axios reported. “What happened today could be the trigger we have been worried about and tried to avoid for 10 months,”

Miranda Devine has an interesting op-ed today in the New York Post, sharing information gleaned from a group of law enforcement who are no longer cooperating with what they see as a highly politicized FBI. The underlying issue is not a surprise to many of us, and the specific reasons for the distrust and lack of cooperation are, not surprisingly, exactly what we predicted long before their assembly came together.

The most basic unresolved question about Husain's metamorphosis, is why he chose to name his "Muslim anti-Islamist extremism organization"— since disbanded — after William "Abdullah" Quilliam, a lunatic, late 19th century British convert to Islam. Quilliam, a Sharia supremacist, was appointed "Sheikh ul-Islam of the British Isles," sought the re-creation of a global Caliphate, and, in a March 1896 fatwa, supported the jihadist Sudanese Mahdist state against "infidel" British soldiers.

A campaign official for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris acknowledged Wednesday that the vice president is deliberately misleading voters about Project 2025. CNN first reported the stunning admission as part of a fact-check article accusing Harris of making false claims about Project 2025 and former President Donald Trump’s stance on Social Security. CNN’s Daniel Dale revealed Since entering the presidential race Sunday, Harris and her campaign have repeatedly tried to link Project 2025 to Trump, despite the former president’s pushback.

Russia has been in the news a lot in recent years, and for good reason. With the war in Ukraine and America’s heightening military tensions with Russia, not to mention Russia’s history with America extending back to the Cold War era, Americans have generally had uneasy feelings about Russia for at least a century. Modern anxieties concerning Russia aside, there is an old area of concern that was largely cast aside after the early 90’s that I think is important to examine, namely communism. It’s not that Russia is explicitly looking to overtake America with communism in our day, though some have made that case.

Democrats love to brag about how they are defenders of “democracy.” Which is odd, because 2024 will be the first presidential contest in modern history featuring a nominee who wasn’t chosen by voters. Kamala Harris did not get a single vote in the primaries. And the same cabal that propped up Joe Biden, that hid his ailments, that put the nation in a perilous position, that used him to push hard-left policies, that bypassed the electorate, now promises that Harris is the very best person for the job. Why would anyone believe them? Al Sharpton contends that Kamala’s candidacy is a “grassroots” movement. Which is laughable. She has never displayed impressive political instincts.

Kamala Harris told migrants “do not come” to the US, but at least 8 million came anyway. In perhaps her most famous speech as vice president, which she made in June 2021 after she was given responsibility for securing the US border, Harris tried to convince migrants to stop flooding into the US in the wake of President Biden’s 2020 election victory. “I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border, do not come. Do not come,” she said.

Biden is scheduled to leave his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — where he had been recovering from COVID-19 — in the afternoon and arrive at the Executive Mansion by 2:30 p.m., according to his schedule. The 81-year-old president was originally expected to leave the beach town, where he had been under quarantine, on Monday to hit the campaign trail, but he extended his stay after announcing that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race the day before.

What do coconut trees have to do with Vice President Harris? The tropical fruit-bearing plant has quickly become an informal symbol of support for her presidential campaign, thanks to an anecdote about her mother that she told more than a year ago. President Biden made the history-making decision Sunday to drop his reelection bid and endorsed Harris to take his place against former President Trump on the November ballot. Harris, who sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, has four weeks to shore up her base to secure the party’s nomination during its convention in Chicago in August and fewer than four months to make her case to American voters.

President Joe Biden is reportedly planning to unveil a dramatic Supreme Court reform next week in an attempt to overhaul the high court. Two people familiar with the matter told Politico that the president is likely to endorse establishing term limits for justices, and bring in a code of ethics. The 81-year-old is expected to push for an amendment that would limit immunity for presidents and other officeholders. His amendment would come directly after the court ruled that presidents are shielded from prosecution for officials acts, in a case brought by Donald Trump. According to the outlet, the specifics remain unclear and could still change sources said.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) praised the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris, France, as being “imaginative, inventive and memorable.” The opening ceremony featured an opening dance number that showed women being “flung around on poles,” while another dance number showed three dancers, two men and a woman, who had been dancing through the streets, going up the stairs of a building as they began kissing. The dancers then went into a room and began to kiss some more. Lady Gaga also sang French songs in a prerecorded opening, while Celine Dion sang from the Eiffel Tower.

Some Episcopal priests with nontraditional views on sexuality and human relationships are beginning to assert what they see as their right to put those views into practice. It's been a week since Joe Biden left the presidential race, and he's barely been seen in public. After a fumbling Oval Office address on Thursday in which he failed to offer any explanation for his sudden departure, the president headed off to Camp David. That would be the same Camp David he hid out at before the debate performance that exposed his worsening mental and physical condition. In other words, his heading back to hunker down there is a pretty big sign of how bad off he is. Biden just suffered the most embarrassing moment of his career, clearly due to worsening health.
