Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) praised the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris, France, as being “imaginative, inventive and memorable.”
The opening ceremony featured an opening dance number that showed women being “flung around on poles,” while another dance number showed three dancers, two men and a woman, who had been dancing through the streets, going up the stairs of a building as they began kissing. The dancers then went into a room and began to kiss some more. Lady Gaga also sang French songs in a prerecorded opening, while Celine Dion sang from the Eiffel Tower.

Thankfully the Olympics has brought us all together and there hasn't been a single conflict since they began. Kumbaya!

Maybe the spirit of NATO?

Romney should just throw off his cloak of Mormonism and join the pagans! This man doesn’t understand the words decency or respect. There should be nothing but condemnation for this display and rebuke for the IOC for allowing it.

Ah, shut up, Mitt. SLC has already been awarded another Olympics. Quit pandering. Trying to look on the bright side, but perhaps the utter depravity on display opened the eyes of a lot of Americans who really were out of touch with what we’ve been yelling for years. I can’t imagine sitting down with the kids ready to celebrate what once was the most exciting of all athletic events, and having to explain this sacrilege.

Too bad you and Paul Ryan didn't have "imaginative, inventive, and memorable" as part of your campaign in 2012.

I give thanks every day that Mitt beat up a gay guy and transported a dog on the roof of his car. You go "Pierre Delecto"!

Two cuties on CNN last night were praising the participation of trans athletes in the games, which have become a sick joke and a disgusting spectacle. It's appropriate that they are being held in a country that is falling apart and being ruined by a whack job leader as muslim invaders tear it down.

I don't care what Romney says. Still, although I didn't see the whole thing, what I did see was inventive, creative, unique, memorable, etc. There was something I heard that they were going to have transvestites carry the flame. If so, that was a terrible idea. But I am only speaking of what I saw. It was good. I have a soft spot for Paris. My wife and I are one, because, in part, of Paris. The ceremony did Paris well.

Huh. Since Pierre Delecto thought all of this was just fine, he isn't LDS anymore?
Incidentally, just wondering what was up with the posters held by some people behind him.
On the positive side, his wife, Ann, looks wonderful. She appears to have beaten cancer and MS.

I didn’t watch, but giving by Mitten’s track record, the opening ceremonies must have been really bad.

Apologies for the second post. I got an unexpected visit from my young grandson.
Pierre Delecto never fails to disappoint. He took a look at that metaphorical emperor and was either too enlightened or too cowardly to see anything but his fancy, new clothes. In reality, we were entreated to a man’s exposed berries on live, international television. These people demand that Christians celebrate their sexual fetish, even as they openly disrespect something/someone sacred to us.
It’s time for Mitt to go home and rethink his life.
