Washington, D.C. – FBI director Christopher Wray revealed several new details about the assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump during a Wednesday hearing, including the fact that the would-be assassin researched the Oswald-Kennedy assassination ahead of his attempt on Trump’s life.
Wray was called before the House Judiciary Committee to explain how would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, managed to make his way onto a rooftop just outside Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, Pa., and fire into the crowd, wounding Trump and killing former fire chief Corey Comperatore. Two others were critically wounded

Yeah, sure; tell us he visited Dallas too.
They sure like their herrings red, don't they?

The conspirators pontificate. Boy, the shooter read some articles about oswald. Nobody's ever done that. What great prep work. No wonder he was able to out smart the Secret Servex. Wray is right on top of things.
FTA: "The FBI recovered eight casings from the rooftop, but is not fully sure how Crooks was able to fire off those shots, Wray said."
Possibly he used the rifle? Is there an issue with that?

How convenient. It’s obvious somebody studied the JFK assassination, but it wasn’t this kid. I pray for justice for these evil Deep Staters and all their mendacity.

Nobody believes Director Wray. He regularly testifies on various topics, but never reveals any information regarding an 'ongoing' investigation - so why would he reveal this nugget?
Answer: Because the whole story is made up. It was a planned hit to murder Trump, and everyone knows it - even Democrat voters.

Yup, Crooks was a regular John Wilks Booth!

What a crock. Go back and look at the skittish way Wray gave his non-answer when asked about the ladder. Later after his vague reply he "just happened" to "receive updated information which he could now share: The ladder which they knew about from a bloody receipt in Crooks' pocket wasn't used. OK, then. Where is it? Everything has to be somewhere.
So they have a bike, a car, a drone, a backpack, a rangefinder, a scope, a rifle which he "thinks" may have been collapsible, and maybe or maybe not a ladder. He's "not sure" how many SS snipers there were nor how many shots were fired or casings found. And nobody's ever explained that huge plastic jug on the roof where the shooter was killed. The object has been edited out of just about all photos except the very 1st one.
We have a VP running around campaigning for President, an incapacitated President hiding for the next 6 months after being forced from office, a former President and candidate nearly losing his life, a SS Director who had to step down due to incompetence, and an FBI Director who doesn't know how this all could occur under his watch but "we're getting answers."
Maybe we all should just give it up and cackle our country away like Kamalala. (I'm being facetious. But, sheesh.)

Oswald's three shots from the Texas Book Depository building (from 240-255 feet with a 4X scope) were as difficult as Crooks's first eight. That is to say, not at all difficult. Oswald hit his target; Crooks did not. President Trump had, and still needs, more than the best official security. I pray that Trump's best security is augmented by mighty angels.

People who dismiss this young man are being foolish. He had spent two years in engineering technical classes at a local college, had won an award for math in HS. He was NO dummy, he was apparently a pretty smart kid.
Like Ted Bundy who got away with 29 or 30 murders by being intelligent and planning, this guy planned, studied and used a drone to recon the area. All things that I'd have thought of at that age, if I was
inclined this way, which I never was.
I'm kind of appalled at the people letting distrust of Wray bleed over into "Crooks must have been incompetent" sort of dismissive talk. That's just ignoring the facts in front of you.
Intelligent, thinking criminals are far, far more dangerous than the run of the mill stupid crook.
