According to security sources, Sinwar's movement area, like other senior Hamas officials in the organization, is getting smaller and smaller.
Friday's operation in Khan Yunis, as well as the activity in the center of the Gaza Strip and Rafah, may advance the IDF and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) to their primary goal: the elimination of senior Hamas leadership. In fact, one security source estimates that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is running out of places to hide.
Sinwar is almost alone at the top of Hamas. His close friends in the senior military ranks of the organization, as well as the senior officials, have been eliminated or have disappeared:

With cigarette prices at an all-time high in the Gaza Strip, the IDF has used the opportunity to incentivize disdain and distrust in Hamas among the residents of Gaza.
The IDF dropped cigarettes from the sky over the coastal area of Khan Yunis of the Gaza Strip on Thursday along with messages warning locals against the dangers Hamas, N12 reported on Friday.
While the IDF has been known to drop leaflets consistently before striking, requesting that the public evacuate the area immediately for their own safety, some have been used to offer rewards for Hamas leaders.

Could the media already have tired of The Silence of the Kams? Up through yesterday, America's institutional media have contented themselves with Stenogralism, offering Kamala Harris' narrative delivered off the record as their own reporting. Despite having a full press pool on Air Force Two, the media hasn't asked for so much as a white paper on any issue in the election, let alone point out that Harris hasn't actually formulated a policy platform at all.
Today, however, the leader of the Protection Racket Media signaled their curiosity -- at least -- about what Harris plans to do if she wins the election. Following up on a Trump tax-cut plan

Audio from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department's protective detail for President Joe Biden on July 17 was released Friday afternoon by Oversight Project, which obtained the recordings through a Freedom of Information Act request. Those recordings confirm RedState's reporting that Biden was first headed to University Medical Center, a trauma center, after he suddenly canceled a speaking engagement due to illness, then suddenly diverted directly to Harry Reid International Airport. The three recordings span a time frame of a few hours and are not timestamped, so it's difficult to get exact time frames from them

Former President Trump’s plane was diverted to Billings, Montana, on Friday due to a mechanical issue, a Billings airport official said.
The Republican presidential nominee is scheduled to hold a rally in nearby Bozeman, Montana, Friday evening, and is still expected to make it.
"I just landed in a really beautiful place: Montana. So beautiful, flying over and you just look down and that's the way it's supposed to be," Trump said in a video from his plane posted to social media, making no mention of any plane issues or of the diversion. "I'm here to do some fundraisers and most important

Now this is how you play three-dimensional chess. After the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Iran threatened massive retaliation ... but hesitated. Hezbollah also threatened to attack on an unprecedented scale ... but has yet to do so. Intel out of the region suggested earlier this week that Iran might wait until the Israeli holiday of mourning on Tisha B'av, if indeed they decide to attack at all, which suddenly sounded less firm later this week after Israel threatened to retaliate against all of their enemies as disproportionately as they could.
Tisha B'av starts on Monday. Today, Benjamin Netanyahu agreed

A passenger plane carrying 62 people crashed on the outskirts of São Paulo on Friday afternoon, killing everyone on board, according to Brazilian officials. Dramatic footage from the scene showed the Voepass Linhas Aéreas plane’s fall and its destroyed fuselage in flames on the ground.
“There are no survivors,” Ana Cândida Briski, communications director of the nearby city of Valinhos, told CNN, adding that there were no ground victims.
Flight tracking data shows that the the ATR 72-500, a twin-engine turboprop plane, dropped 17,000 feet in just one minute, but it is not yet clear why. “There is still no confirmation

The president of the Olympics’s governing body no longer believes in basic human biology when it comes to determining a person’s biological sex, a testament to the influence of progressive gender ideology across many major institutions.
International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach suggested during a press conference Friday that identifying people’s biological sex based on their chromosomes is outdated. His comments came in response to a question about the recent controversy over two boxers competing in the women’s division after failing sex-identification tests administered by an outside sports body last year.

The Ukrainian Army launched an attack into Russia's Kursk Oblast during the early hours of Tuesday. The attacking force seems to consist of about two brigades of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, totaling about 1500 to 2000 troops. The attack swiftly overran Russian positions, seized over 200 square miles of Russian territory, seized the gas pumping station that controls all Russian gas flows to Europe, and appears to have controlled the main Russian railway supply route for Russian forces in Ukraine.
U.S., Ukrainian and Russian officials all acknowledged the ongoing attack, which stunned Moscow and appeared to involve the use of armored fighting vehicles donated to Kyiv

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is ordering all votes for the 2024 presidential election to be cast by paper ballot.
Youngkin issued Executive Order 35 on Wednesday, which codifies election security protocols established under his governance for all future elections.
"The Virginia model for Election Security works. This isn't a Democrat or Republican issue, it's an American and Virginian issue," Youngkin said in an announcement. "Every legal vote deserves to be counted without being watered down by illegal votes or inaccurate machines. In Virginia, we don’t play games and our model for election security is working."

Kamala Harris held a rally in Detroit Wednesday in which she once again trotted out some kind of weird accent that she somehow thinks honors the locale (but which is actually insulting), and she once again had to provide a free concert to get folks to show up. But there was something different about this rally - that's the completely FUBAR'd logistical situation as the rally-goers tried to get back home. The chaotic scene perfectly encapsulates what America would be like under a Harris presidency: a complete lack of organization/accountability/sense in government, resulting in tired, hungry, and angry masses of people simply trying to escape.

How long has it been since the coup on Biden that took the Democratic nomination from Joe and handed it to Kamala Harris? Eighteen days?
Former President Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance have been excoriating her over her failure to respond to questions, do an interview, or even enunciate her positions on issues. But she's gone to ground, embracing the Joe Biden "basement strategy." But on Thursday, reporters were finally able to corner Kamala for a few questions. She responded to a couple, but not surprisingly, she gave non-answer answers.
She was asked about the stolen valor scandal imploding around her VP choice Tim Walz regarding his comments
