Don't believe your own eyes. That was the message from the far-left following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump as they spread conspiracy theories that he wasn't actually shot.
Claims ranged from "it was glass" to the entire shooting being staged. That's expected from the BlueAnon lunatics. It's less expected from the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As RedState reported, FBI Director Christopher Wray decided it'd be a good idea to spread the left-wing conspiracy theory that Trump wasn't hit by a bullet.

Elon Musk's SpaceX turned a smallbore squabble about an alleged unfair labor practice into a massive assault on the administrative state that could result in the entire enforcement structure of the National Labor Relations Board being declared unconstitutional. In an opinion released Thursday, US District Judge Alan Albright of the Western District of Texas, a Trump appointee, ruled that SpaceX "has demonstrated a substantial likelihood of success on its claims that Congress has impermissibly protected both the NLRB Members and the NLRB ALJs from the President’s Article II power of removal."
The case started with SpaceX firing eight engineers for circulating a letter criticizing Musk for alleged "sexist conduct"

Many people are wondering how and why the protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu got so out of control on Wednesday.
In addition to the vandalism, tearing down of the American flag, and general violence, the police trying to control the crowd were violently attacked. Well, there is a simple answer: there were only 29 Park Police who could defend the sites against the rampaging mob, and the Department of the Interior was unwilling to help those guys out. Dealing with a violent mob consisting of thousands of Antifa and pro-Hamas proto-terrorists, they were outmanned beyond belief.

Consider this the wrap-up to what likely will be the final day of whatever honeymoon Kamala Harris has. The Obamas literally phoned in an endorsement this morning, which means that unless Democrats dig up the corpse of FDR, the potential sugar highs from endorsements have come to an end. Harris may get brief news-cycle boosts from her Veepstakes pick and at the convention, but this introductory week held the most real potential to change the race from the hole Joe Biden dug.
And according to CNN polling analyst Harry Enten last night, that potential went largely unrealized. And in fact, Trump had a pretty good week -- again:

Donald Trump’s campaign on Thursday announced that he is not yet ready to agree to the details of a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, stating:
Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee. There is a strong sense by many in the Democrat Party — namely Barack Hussein Obama — that Kamala Harris is a Marxist fraud who cannot beat President Trump, and they are still holding out hope for somebody “better.” Therefore, it would be inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change their minds.

Former President Trump topped Vice President Harris by 2 points in a new poll from The Wall Street Journal.
The former president garnered 49 percent support among registered voters to the vice president’s 47 percent in the poll, conducted in the wake of President Biden leaving the 2024 presidential race.
Harris significantly improved on Biden’s performance in a Wall Street Journal poll from earlier this month when he was down 6 points to Trump. That poll was conducted shortly after Biden’s disastrous debate performance, which sparked the calls for him to leave the race.

The FBI said Friday that a bullet or fragments of it struck Donald Trump's ear during an assassination attempt on the former president this month at a campaign rally. “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle," the FBI said in a statement. The statement comes two days after FBI Director Christopher Wray, whom Trump nominated to his post in 2017, told House lawmakers that "there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear."

Donald Trump announced Friday that he will soon revisit Butler, Pa., where a would-be assassin made an attempt on his life just two weeks ago.
Gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, shot at Trump from a rooftop during the president’s July 13 campaign rally in Butler, injuring Trump, killing former firefighter, Corey Comperatore, and critically wounding rally-goers James Copenhaver and David Dutch.
“I will be going back to Butler, Pennsylvania, for a big and beautiful rally, honoring the soul of our beloved firefighting hero, Corey, and those brave patriots injured two weeks ago,”

Vice President Kamala Harris said the public should no longer use the terms "radical Islamic terrorism" and "illegal alien" during a speech she gave at a Los Angeles mosque in July 2016.
"We must have the courage to object when they use that term, ‘radical Islamic terrorism,’ which ignores how Muslims have overwhelmingly been the greatest victims of terror," she told the crowd at the Islamic Center of Southern California. "We must also have the courage to reject the term ‘illegal alien.’"

WASHINGTON — A beaming Donald Trump welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to their first face-to-face meeting in nearly four years on Friday, patching up a political alliance important to both men that had broken down when the Israeli leader offended Trump by being one of the first to congratulate Joe Biden on his 2020 presidential victory.
Asked by journalists if his U.S. trip was making progress toward a Gaza cease-fire at home, Netanyahu said, “I hope so,” and added that Israel was eager for an agreement.

Since Joe Biden dropped out and endorsed Kamala Harris as his successor, a bizarre co-presidency dynamic has emerged, in what is an attempt to boost Kamala's presidential credentials. In the first critical test of her foreign policy chops, Harris appears to have stumbled, creating friction with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to an Israeli official, Netanyahu was upset by Harris’ on-camera remarks after their meeting on Thursday and now fears that her public remarks after their meeting could undermine ongoing negotiations over a Gaza hostage and ceasefire deal. This was her first meeting with a foreign leader since launching her solo presidential campaign,

Democratic strategist James Carville said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that Democrats were too “giddy” over Vice President Kamala Harris after President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
Carville said, “I have to be the skunk at the garden party. This is too triumphalist, ok? This is everybody’s giddy. I look at the coverage and it’s great.”
He continued, “Get ready. They’re coming. All right? And it’s good. Everybody should feel good and liberated and everything else. But if we don’t win the election we haven’t done anything.”
He added, “They are coming at us, and they are going to keep coming.
