Biden Isn't a Hero—He's a Failing Politician
Who Saw the Writing on the Wall

In the immediate wake of Joe Biden's departure from the presidential race, liberal commentators began effusively praising the president for his decency, humility, and willingness to sacrifice his political career for the good of the country. Ezra Klein called him an "actual hero" who had demonstrated what real moral character looks like. Historian Jon Meacham, a personal friend of Biden, compared him to George Washington and said that he had "taught us a landmark lesson in patriotism, humility and wisdom." Frank Bruni called Biden's action "utterly extraordinary." Economist Alex Tabarrok called Biden an "American Cincinnatus." The statements of Democratic politicians were similarly overflowing with tributes to Biden's selflessness. But

1) this is from “Newsweek.” 2) FTA: “ And when we misrepresent Joe Biden, praising the moral wisdom of a decision that had nothing to do with morality, we not only insult real heroes, but we reduce our ability to understand political reality.” “ But in American politics, decisions made out of pure self-interest are often presented as benevolence and idealism. It is common in this country to pretend that the raw machinations of the politically powerful are actually some kind of morality play.” Excellent. Thanks for posting.

#1, I had to double check the masthead to make sure this was Newsweek. However, they did not disappoint with this gem thrown in to make sure loyal readers still knew which side they were on... "He (Biden) dug his heels in, denounced the critics as out-of-touch elites, denied poll numbers in full Trumpian fashion, and utterly refused to consider leaving the race." I must admit I'm not up on Leftist thinking (propaganda). Does the reference to denying "poll numbers in full Trumpian fashion" refer to Trump being in denial generally, or regarding his (Leftist) poll numbers in particular?

It was a CYA move on FJB part. It appears Nancy and her minions told FJB leave on your own or we will pull out the 25th Amendment. Can you imagine all the medical info on his cognitive health splashed all over the news? Yes, we are talking about it but this would be official. I assume there would have to be an examination with the results revealed. No way they wanted that. So leave, you'll get a nice check (10% for FJB, he's use to that), maybe some extra cash for a FJB Library (never did understand the libraries) and if the DEI VP wins we'll chip in a pardon for Hunter. He is no hero. He was boxed into a corner and took the way out that was the least painful and embarrassing for him.

Bravo! Playing the patriot, Biden lied as always. His minions cover his lies with false claims and extravagant praise. The talking point that the prevarication committee is pushing now is stomach turning: KJP, Little Miss Muppet, said at least four times during her latest press briefing that Biden has done more in three and one half years than other Presidents have done in two terms. On this point, I tend to agree. He ruined the economy, destroyed the borders, divided the country, created racial animosity, lost respect from the other nations of the world…more than any other President. The next six months will be devoted to building his legacy with lies. It won’t work; history will judge him as the worst President ever.

The left are always the opposite of who they say they are. and they are exactly what they accuse others of being. For example, they call Trump a dictator while joe and vp hoe are functioning as dictators. They feel they are perfectly in their rights to select vp hoe to replace biden. And biden is too incompetent to run (he's almost there) for reelection, but he gets to remain as president for his "legacy." Who gives a flip what their sheeple want? Not them. Even some in the devil media are bug-eyed at what they're watching with this motley crew.

No doubt he admires the biggest names in thieves. Considering how much Newsweek traffics in Baffle Speak to befuddle the Dims, it is refreshing to hear them speak of propaganda that "reduces our ability to understand political reality” even if it is used as their own take on Baffle Speak. Biden set off my BS detector over and over. He called for unity and them called to expand the Supreme Court so he could add more leftist judges. Unity through force is not unity at all. It is tyranny. That is what the left are really offering. Biden was right in only one point. The American voting population must be united. To the left that means more brainwashing and more useful idiots. The truth is Washington has become completely dysfunctional. All it produces is corruption and bad policy. Used to be Washington policed itself and clean up its mistakes. That's no longer happening, and the American voter has to do the job. 90% of Washington needs to be sent packing. Only the American voter can do that. It may already be too late as our government is descending into tyranny which paves the way for a dictatorship.

Grassroots activists are warning Republicans that while former President Donald Trump has surged in momentum lately, the “belief that Democrats are in such disarray” following President Joe Biden’s ouster from the race could lead to dangerous “complacency.” Trump currently leads Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, by 3 points nationwide, according to a recent CNN poll. RealClearPolitics has Trump up 2.1 percentage points in its polling average. But if President Joe Biden could win an election from his basement, and if Sen. Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. should be remembered as a failed president, a cringy blowhard senator, perhaps the most shameless fabulist in American political history, the patriarch of a shady family, and a preternatural liar who couldn’t hold a single consistent principled position in his very long career. In March 2020, all the major Democratic primary candidates abruptly, mysteriously, and in near unison withdrew from the presidential race, ceding the nomination to Joe Biden. Yet Biden had lost the first three races in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada—and only won his first victory in South Carolina. Suddenly, on the eve of the Super Tuesday mega-primaries, the candidacies of front-runner Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and others simply evaporated. The fear of a front-runner Sanders’ socialist victory and nomination—and thus an enviable landslide loss to incumbent Donald Trump in the general election—had prompted the donor class and shadowy political insiders to act.
