The three top stories of the week are the Crowdstrike failure which interrupted internet service to millions; the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump, and the ongoing Democratic coup against President Biden. You may recall that Crowdstrike was the source of the lie that Russians hacked the DNC files, so I have no sympathy for them. Apparently, there is little legal recourse for the victims of this outage, but I can imagine many institutions and businesses will be reconsidering continuing this service. As for the attempted assassination, it bears a resemblance to the Crowdstrike outage in that it underscores the growing incompetence, lack of resilience, and poor preparation

Good way to start the week with some Clarice Feldman. I'm going to remember the Yiddish saying..When your enemy falls you shouldn't gloat but you don't have to pick him up either.

Just days ago I saw a phrase that goes something like "FBI, where evidence goes to die". I've seen repeated visual and audio studies of the assassination attempt. The audio study tells us three shooters plus 1 SS counterfire. The visual tells us Crooks didn't shoot DJT because the angles don't allow him to access the right side of DJT's head. I wonder what fantasy the Federal Bureau of Intimidation will weave for our edification. I wonder who all the shooters were, and which alphabet agency they worked for. Guess what kids? We'll NEVER know. This is the BRA, not the USA.

As usual, Clarice covers her topic with a deep and thorough analysis and gives us new things to think about. I think the glaring lie involves the time before the shooting and not the shooting itself. The fact that Crooks was permitted to move around freely, hide an AR-15, which is a short rifle but is still a rifle, climb the building under clear observation and get off that many shots before he was neutralized is baffling. I discount his use of a drone because people have become accustomed to drones flying around major events all the time and normally, nobody knows who the operator is unless they see somebody working the control.
The lack of communication is a big red flag. All hand-held radios these days, even the cheap ones, allow two channels to be in operation so standard procedure is to use one channel for communication within your specific unit and an open command and control channel used simultaneously by all parties. The story that the SS people did not know about Crooks in the hour before the shooting and delay Trump's appearance on the stage is completely unbelievable and screams conspiracy.
The idea of a second shooter is plausible but the sounds of shots with so many large buildings around would be distorted by echos and be deceiving even though they came from the same place. Even out in the woods, the sound of a shot and its direction is deceiving as echos from trees and valleys return. One Green Beret brought up the current policy of blaming any law enforcement action that results in a death, especially if the guy made a mistake. Careers are ended and often jail time is involved (See George Floyd, Michael Brown, Treyvon Martin). This explains nobody shooting until Crooks opened fire. The real problem we have now is allowing the FBI, an agency that nobody trusts, to gather up all of the evidence and take it away. I believe that Crooks' cell phones will fill in the entire story but chances are that they will go the way of Hunter's laptop. So, if this was an honest and innocent job by the SS to guard the president, they have lost their mojo as a legitimate protection agency. The testimony of many military snipers and Special Forces types points to a huge cluster****. The alternative explanation must be the answer and the fact that the democrats are in a corner and desperate adds fuel to the fire because their fundamental changing of America is in jeopardy. We are far past the point of three coincidences being enemy action.
One more point, the parents of this kid acted like many parents of problem children, they are blind to the fact that their kid has a problem and deny the fact their kid is not normal no matter what he does. It's a parental defense mechanism.

I'm glad we jave a few readers who understand the importance of Clarice'a qeekly analysis. She is not a journalist, but experienced in DC, the law, the DOJ... This brilliant article is no exception. She asks questions about the Trump shooting that must be answered, and her inclusion of VDH's words on the Biden internal coup are worth your time as well.

A great column. It's not often you get to red Clarice Feldman and Victor Davis Hanson in the same place.

Any company that continues to use CrowdStrike as computer security is stupid, and deserves the incompetent, probably DEI, "support" that they got and will continue to get.
Frankly, hiring out computer security is a very dangerous thing. Large companies should have an internal, COMPETENT computer and computer security department. For example, a close friend was in the CAD and computer department, a senior technician with decades of experience for a major international engineering design and construction company. The geniuses in charge decided to outsource their computer management to Hewlett-Packard. On multiple occasions the H-P morons managed to shut down the entire engineering company, lock ALL files up so no work could be done on design, and erase, permanently 100% of the engineering design work done on their computers, worldwide, due to sheer incompetence and lack of understanding of the systems and how they ACTUALLY work together. My friend and several other senior computer and CAD system techs managed to figure out what the hell the H-P morons had done, fix the error, promulgate that fix company wide and get things back running. They were able to recover ONE day of the lost work product, but there were still four days of ALL the engineers and designers in the company work just GONE. Thousands of hours of work done, and then erased.
And....HP retained the contract, still incompetent, but never held to account by the fools in charge of this big, international engineering design and construction company. We are talking about building power plants, nuclear power plants, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants world wide.

Willie Browns’ cackling prostitute is soon to be praised as an eloquent, mellifluous, and articulate Cicero.
As for CrowdStrike, they are owned by an Ukranian. Ukraine is involved in most of the machinations of our enemies. Ukranians such as Vindman and Nuland-Kagan got our President Trump impeached in an instant because he mentioned the Crowdstrike Hillary server in Ukraine as well as Hunter Biden’s business activities in a brief phone call with that snake in the grass, Zelenskyy.
As for Bill Gates, it is immensely dangerous to put the Global control of everything in the hands of the incompetent and monopolistic programming company Microsoft.
WE have become the laughingstock of the World thanks to the Democrats. MAGA.

I need some help. Did anyone else click on the link to the bullet trajectory analysis, about half-way down the article? It doesn't make sense to me. It shows the other victims; Corey Comperatore, David Dutch and James Copenhaver in the side stands and the shots coming in perpendicular to the stage. Am I totally not reading this graphic correctly, or is the analyst nuts?

Re #8. The shots came from almost 90 degrees to Trump's right. This is why when he turned his head to look at and point at the jumbotron to his right (audience camera view left) he turned his head so that instead of the bullet hitting the center side of his head, it streaked along the right side of his head, hitting his ear.
The guy killed was in the angled stands to Trump's right, and the other two, wounded, were in the other angled stand to Trump's left. One "uprange" of Trump, two 'downrange' of Trump.
Not quite 90 degrees to Trumps right to the shooter. Maybe 80 degrees, roughly. Three stands, not
directly connected. One center stand behind Trump, perpendicular to camera view from main audience side, and long axis of the venue. One on each side of that set of bleachers, each angled towards the center maybe 30-40 degrees.
Hope that helps.
